      • Watched a couple, great post.

Been a good off season, the only thing I'm waiting for is Miller to sign an extension.

    • The Steelers' final two drives were among their longest of the game, each lasting 10 plays. The drives took more than eight minutes off the clock, but both ended with wide-left field goals by Jeff Reed.Very uncaracteristic for him to miss twice in one game, the wet ball and field should not have been an issue.I am a little dissapointed to say the least.

    • Quite a turnaround for Rashard Mendenhall from one week to the next. After not playing on any offensive snaps against the Bengals in week three because of a disappointing week of practice, Mendenhall stepped up and was named the AFC Offensive Player of the Week for his standout performance against the San Diego Chargers in a 38-28 win at Heinz Field. Mendenhall started the game with Willie Parker sidelined with a turf toe and responded to all of the challenges with 29 carries for 165 yards and t More..

    • Well, the STEELERS avoided losing another game in the fourth quarter and "Steelernation" helped out on the road. Big Ben had a season-high three touchdown passes and 277 yards passing, Mendenhall looked good with a TD and 77 rushing yards and Pittsburgh%u2019s defense was just good enough in the fourth to hold off the Lions for the first road win of the season,Woodley had a sack and Harrison had three! And this sunday the Browns in their Holloween uniformes,LOL!

    • Under terms of the NFL Collective Bargaining Agreement, a team losing more or better compensatory free agents than it acquires in the previous year is eligible to receive compensatory draft picks. And so, as a result of losing QB Byron Leftwich, WR Nate Washington and CB Bryant McFadden as unrestricted free agents %u2013 and signing none %u2013 the Steelers ended up with two extra picks in the fifth round and one extra in the seventh round. The Steelers also just resigned Charlie Batch for a two More..

    • Despite losing, the Steelers (10-4) were told by the NFL nearly an hour after the game ended that they secured a playoff spot via a series of complicated strength-of-schedule tiebreakers.

Pittsburgh also owns the division tiebreaker and will beat out Baltimore (10-4) for the AFC North title if it defeats Carolina on Thursday and Cleveland on Jan. 2.
