There are more slaves today than there have ever been at any other point in human history. 95% of the slaves who crossed the Atlantic to the Americas went somewhere other than what is now the US. While America took only a tiny tiny part in perpetuated the practice of slavery, we took a very large part leading the fight to abolish it. Angry racists who like to believe that black America is in the state it is because of whitey, don't care about reality.

You should seek professional help...
80% of the families in this country were not here when slavery existed in the southern states...and of the 20% that were here, few than 2% owned slaves...
I have nothing to feel guilty or sorry about, nor do the vast majority of Americans.
slavery was part of a long gone culture, and in NO WAY unique to America.
