I eat meat as much as anyone else, and the vast majority of 'sports' hunters don't process their own meat, so your costs are not typical.

But maybe I didn't make my point well-- I'm just saying that all of us deal with two facts:

1) You have to kill to live, and
2) A life-- any life-- is a unique and precious thing.

So when you kill, it should be done out of necessity, or at least practicality, and with great reverence, appreciation, gratitude, and respect for that which you've killed.

To in More..jure, kill, cage, and otherwise take away the quality of life from any living thing for your 'sport hunting', or your amusement (circuses, dog racing, etc) is simply immoral.

My problem is not with killing. My problem is when you take away the right of a living thing to live and die as God intended that life to live die-- and God did't intend live to be lived at your whim for 'sport' or 'fun' or 'amusement'.

So when you grow up to the point that, instead of posing with your foot on the body of an animal you just killed with an idiotic grin on your face like you 'done sumthin', you instead kneel before that animal with great appreciation and understanding of the life you just ended, and say a prayer of thanks to the animal (not God) for the sacrifice made, then you'll get my point.
