"BAGHDAD, June 16th, 2008 - A car bomb killed at least seven children and 11 other people in a northern city, providing a reminder that militants still can cause casualties despite security improvements that led U.S. troops to return a southern province to Iraqi control Wednesday.

Hey so are there alot of tajiks in kandahar? and what do you mean N. Alliance is still active in S and E afghanistan? you mean as part of the ANA, or independently, and what are they doing? killing taliban, or just building alliances with local pashtuns?
