Thanks bud. I participated in my first official half-marathon just this last weekend and I have a girlfriend who is an avid runner, specializing in marathons. I can honestly say there's nothing like it. I'm willing to bet most people don't quite understand what such an experience is like, what it means and the effect it has on people. I was just trying to enlighten some people because I think the true gravity of the situation and horrid nature of such an act is lost on some.

Hey man... Read your comment on the Boston Marathon pics thread. Just want to tell you how accurate and respectful I thought it was. I called Boston home for four years and I was there spectating every one of them. There's nothing like it.
If only more people in this world could think like you.
