Gavin, I think you need to re-read your comment and understand that within the same couple of sentences, you bash Jollymunkie for having "pre-conceived notions" about the U.S. but then within two sentences start calling Australians "British prison trash."
Pot meet kettle? How could you trash someone for pre-conceived notions, then immediately start writing about out some of your own?

I see you never get bored with America-bashing. Don't you have anything else to do? Are the bastard child of some run-away American serviceman or something? Have you ever been here?
