thanks for your reply LR', it was on the Grand Union Canal at Camden Town Lock in north London, Jan 2010. What made it real 'view-worthy' was that it was on the side of an apartment block which backs on to the waters edge, there's no way to reach it it other than by canoe or boat. Opposite this, from where the camera is there's building site construction boards covered in Spanish and Italian and Portugese graffiti!
