      • That is quite a rant. I live in Washington State and I don't know any Muslims around here. In America it is a crime to for someone falsely claim they are a veteran. Given the threat of punishment and the fact that millions of Americans have served, I generally assume that anyone claiming to be a veteran is most likely telling the truth.

        I'm familiar with the PDO as well as the North Pacific Index. As a Geography major plus a skier/hiker in the Pacific Northwest, I am well aware of the natural variability we receive here. Back in April, I wrote a literature review on the declining snowpack in the mountains of the western states.

        Unfortunately, despite an expected cooler, wetter period in the PDO, we are expecting an sizable el nino this year. That does not bode well for skiers since More..
