Can see the appeal of North. South is too cold. Auckland is becoming clone big brand stores between houses for as far as the eye can see and a PITA to navigate.

Yeah I hear ya, demographics have changed sadly, with most places going downhill in values and quality, such extreme multiculturalism can never work it seems, across the world! Much of the Auckland centre regions are pretty different to when I grew up and I'm not even 30! Sad to think of what future kids or grandkids would see. West Auckland is still Kiwi as fuck though, so not all is lost :D
