My personal liburary has books on over 40 religions, with over 100 on Islam.
Islam can only be documented from a few sources. Sira, Bukhari, Taburi, Muslim, and Qur'an,
Each of these sources, except Qur'an, came from oral traditions until they were writtin down when a language was developed.
These sources span 300 years after the fact, and are,at best, unreliable. But they are the only source, and muslims believe them.
Actually most muslims are illiterate so they never read them anywa More..
