I hope you don't mind me bringing this here, since the thread was about to be lost to time.
RicoShay: Id like to see Cheney get the waterboard treatment
Stan: There's that famous liberal attitude, rather see Cheney waterboarded than the guy that beheaded Daniel Berg or masterminded 9/11.
Ricoshay: No, I'd actually rather see the people who are held at Gitmo be tried and convicted if guilty.... but to keep people in custody for years who are "suspected" terrorists and tortu More..

Here's my response to what you posted on my board;
"People who were captured on the battleground.... do you think all of those people wouldve been a threat to us if we hadnt invaded Iraq?"
You seem to think that individual insurgents captured in Iraq end up at Gitmo. They don't. The people at Gitmo are of higher value, Al Qeada linked and people captured in Afghanistan. Either way, if you shoot at US troops and you're captured, we can and should hold you until the end of hostilit More..

Since you brought up crying because Obama won, I help a lot of children in my area and I hear Obama is lower benifits to the poor, wasn't his campaign promise but his first task he says is to give 150 Billion Dollars for Stem Cell Research so then the rich companies can then charge us a fortune for treatments that may or may not work.
He plans to help the wealthy while poor children go to bed hungry. Seems to be no CHANGE to me seems more of the SAME or worse.
He hasn't got in yet and taking c More..

Im going for my MSW in the forsensic concentration. Lots of legal cases. Not sure what the end result will be. Maybe an LCSW, maybe a Ph.D. I wont know til a year and a half from now for the doctorate and Ive got some hours to collect working as an MSW before thinking about getting licensed.
If I get a school stipend, I may just go for the Ph.D after all this... it just depends. I never planned to get anything in my twenties, then I got my BA at 31. MSW by 33 (I hope)... I just want optio More..
