    • Hey there TIG!

Brazing is my preferred means of joining, but I don't get to do it so much any more. I used to make custom bicycles, but where I live now is not bicycle country.

      Cheers!

      • So you used to build bikes. Bet you thought that China man was pretty cool. For the wooded bicycle. I thought it was very neat. I don't know a lot about brazing tube
other than I've brazed some copper rings. 1/2" -2"-12'
for some Westinghouse motors. I've also done some brazing on A/C copper motor windings.,mostly large oil pumps, and nuclear water pump varieties.

Now, I'm welding mostly airframe products. Aluminum and stainless. With some Inconel.

I watched a video one time with you More..

      • Yeah, I'm Australian and have been here for about 4 years now after marrying an Italian girl. It's pretty sweet here, with a few downsides, like anywhere of course.

I'm a computer programmer by trade, but love working with steel, but sadly it's not really possible here, due to the general lack of space (this region is wedged between the mountains and the sea). I'll pick it up again in the future, maybe perhaps, one of these days!

      • Chock... If you like to work metal, there are all kinds of things you can do at home. I built a entire Cirrus Sailplane Model at home with a small Miller welder and a bunch of aluminum pop cans. Got the plans from an old Sterling Model, some tin shears, an electric Dremel. I loved it. And when anyone comes in the house, the first thing they notice is the Sailplane on the wall. If you've got the volt/amps running to your place you can do it.

Or you can make small little sculptures.

        See ya.

    • Thanks for the info on the tune on MM's "Blocked" vid. I've had a crush on Stevie since Jr. High. (and still do at 46 lol) imo no greater duo has come along than Lindsey and Stevie. Thanks again.

      Have agreat day TIG. Cheers
