Great composure and insightful rebuttles in some of your Palestinian-Israeli conflict debates. Keep up the good work in encouraging deeper thinking.
I am here for that same reason.

Thanks for your good comments. Thank you very much for your service
@RickBond, Me? I ended up just going along for the ride.
I could only help Marines in a sick bay setting.
I'm a simple Corpsman but it's the "Docs" among us who make the designation shine. They perform the service we are most famed and respected for. I always tell Marines who attempt to praise me for my work as a "Doc" that I couldn't even begin to compare to an FMF Corpsman who worked under fire in the field while covered in their brother's blood.
The FMF Corpsmen who w More..ent into the thick of it in Nam with the Marines provided the real service and commitment. I missed all that somehow. I'll admit, I felt lucky. Most normal 19 year olds probably would.
Now that I'm older I sort of feel guilty that I missed out and wasn't able to perform the service that Corpsmen are widely known and respected for.
No wonder the Marines have such a soft spot for Corpsmen! I'm not the type of Corpsman responsible for making them feel that way. I honestly wish I were.
The "Corpsman Up" emblem is meant to honor their service.
When my son was wounded in Iraq, he ended up at Bethesda NMC. I watched many hospital corpsmen/women help care for him. They were a part of a whole team of care, and they have my love and respect forever.
@marinemom, I worked with some who'd been stationed there, but never heard one bad comment about Bethesda from them. They seemed quite impressed actually.
Hi from Ireland, sub'd and thumb run.
Enjoyed our talk. Had to subscribe. Thumbs up down the line.
Do you have corgi's?
@RAMSEY44, I had a Corgi for 12 years. He passed at 14 1/2. He was the smartest, most devoted and spirited dog I've ever had. He became paralyzed in his hind quarters his last 2 years with me. He still romped and played and would drag himself to follow me around our one acre yard. He would never leave my side.
Some say they are enchanted dogs. They may very well be just that. I'm hooked on Corgis now. My next dog will be another older red Pembroke that needs a home. I keep looking for one wit More..hin reasonable distance. Less..
I'm a dachshund guy. I love the breed and know how they are as far as habits and temperament. Best dog I ever had, and most annoying but they make up for it in personality...
This is why that DEATH CHURCH guy cant be around firearms.
You appear ta be a cool cat... SUBBED!

Get a life idiot. Subed buddy.
@dcmfox Are you and mr. Nazi here BFF or lovers ?
Who's the passive one? you ?
@Radical Dreamer, I wish nearly all Israelis well. It's not all of their faults that a bunch of Zionists got together and had the bright idea to move to a simmering powder keg in numbers and form a state.
The British even attempted to find a more unobtrusive and possibly peaceful method of assimilating a large number of heavily persecuted Jewish immigrants waiting to arrive in Palestine by limiting their flow of entry. But the Zionists found a not so subtle way of discouraging Great Britain More.. from continuing what the Zionists may have considered to be an overly considerate time consuming peace effort.
Israel was literally created by a Zionist bull in a china shop. I can't blame all of todays Israeli Jews for a decision that was made long ago by the early Zionists.
But I do blame those who still believe that the early Zionists made a wise decision and had always conducted themselves in an above board, considerate and peaceful manner while accomplishing their intended goals.
None of them see the Zionists who were once willing to kill their British buddies over an immigration quota disagreement on a land that proven to be unfriendly towards the minority of Jews living there.
Palestine was a brewing powder keg alright, but Zionists lit the fuse in a really grand fashion.
