I'd never have imagined fruit jars could be worth so much, they kind of remind me of a some of the old glass bottles and jars I used to find lying around some of the old WW2 ruins when I was really young (believe it or not there were still bombed out buildings knocking around in the early 70's where I live, which is Weymouth, Dorset) I'm sure I've seen things like this in some of the antique and curiosity shops nearby too, probably not the same type of jars but similar looking.
