      If victims of black-perpetrated crime are white 45% of the time, and are black 43% of the time, you could conclude that blacks are pretty much just as likely to victimize their own race as they are to victimize whites. The fact that only 3% of white violent crime victims are black simply indicates that white criminals don't see much to gain going after black victims. Far from being shrinking violets, whites perpetrated white on black crime in epidemic fashion during the glory days of the KKK. There is no question that the black crime rate is in fact enormously higher than for other racial groups, and the justice system rightfully incarcerates people of that race more often due solely to that fact. As Dr. M.L. King pointed out, we should all be unwilling to accept this world's 'ISness' if it means that we are to give up on the 'OUGHTness' that we would rather live in.     • Thanks for your comment on my page. I find that usually the most vehement leftists are the ones that ban my comments. I'm sure right wingers on this site ban comments as well; I just experience it from the leftists though. You point out what I have experienced in leftist ideals as well--on the surface, a "caring" for less fortunate, while underneath, a desire to gain power through suppression.

    • "No child left behind" sounds great, until you understand that it means "no standard left in place."-I have been searching my mind for a long time trying to figure out how to say that.People get so caught up in being busy with other things that I guess it is easier to lower standards to the LCD? This is what we have gotten.Great post!
