Muslims Against Crusades and the EDL are the only two groups in the UK stupid enough to believe that Sharia Law is an inevitability.
The two groups feed off each other. They need one another to exist. There's only about 20 MAC anyway. They'll go out around London every so often chanting that rubbish, but nobody pays any attention. Just a lunatic fringe.
But they claim to speak for the English. EDL do. Which is odd, because they know fuck all about English culture.

Does Anjem Choudry speak for ordinary Muslims? And if so, how did you work that one out? MAC are not a very large, or indeed popular group by any stretch of the imagination.
As for the EDL, if they spoke for mainstream British society, their turnouts would be a lot higher than they are. If anything, their Newcastle protest was when they peaked, they've been in gradual decline ever since.

EDL arrests per 100 demonstrators = 13 ÷ (849÷100) = 1.53.
Anti-fascist arrests per 100 demonstrators = 9 ÷ (654÷100) = 1.37.
