Thanks for the comment, and you are absolutely right, there is NO CURE, only remission. I had my surgery on July 28th, 2008 (my birthday) and finished radiation in September. After your first follow-up appointment AFTER rdiation is over, usually 3 months later, they will give you another CT scan and X-ray. If, at that time, there is no evidence of tumors, you are declared IN REMISSION. I kept declaring myself I REMISSION prematurely, first after surgery, then after radiation ended, but it is More..
