When I was in Almaty last summer, we walked 3, 4 hours up the mountain to visit the Aksay Cell monastery. I had the runs from mild food poisoning and a bad hang over (vodka, what else..), so that was quite a challenge. hehe When reaching it, the view on the mountains was one of the most beautiful things i've ever seen. Really, it made me cry! :) On the slope facing the green mountains there was a toilet/hole in the ground, so then and there, i took the very best crap of my life! lol
