Actually, the words "democratic", "democrat", democracy", etc do not appear in any of our nation's founding documents. No where in the Declaration of Independence nor the Bill of Rights nor the Contitution of the united States nor any of its ammendments.
An interseting term does, however, appear in the Constitution in Article 4, Section 4:

Cum hoc ergo propter hoc. I see very little sense of veiled racism in the proper right's dislike of Obama but rather that of principle. The same principle that eroded support for the Republicans putting a bevvy of RINOs forward on the heels of one of the most liberal Republican presidents in US history. We are fed up.
