sorry if I offended you, but your comments were disturbing. Maybe if you read widely on the Palestine issue you would see that they suffer daily humiliation and degradation on the hands of the Israeli's, and it's quite possible if you understood what happens there, you wouldn't be so shocked that they arn't working. Palestine's biggest export was Olive oil, but trade restrictions and the fact that hard-line Jewish settlers on expanding illegal settlements regularly attack and destroy olive grove More..s (to further the collective punishment of the indigenous Arabs they so hate) leaves them with very little hope. This and the daily attacks by the Israeli military and extremist settlers leave them with a desperate, sickeningly unjust situation. Maybe that's why they were protesting... just a thought?

By the way, before you dismiss "my dreary little country" perhaps try traveling outside of London next time. The city of London is dreary, tired and ugly compared to the rest of this pleasant green land, full of mountains, lakes and also very modern, progressive cities.. although obviously you may encounter those with darker skin than ours, which you, like many north Americans, seem terrified of. There is no 'muslim problem' here, the reality on the ground is very very different.
