I hit a plateu myself, but that's related to weight loss in combination with building. When I'm "fat free", I'm guessing I'll do better at lifting weights.

For the soreness, it doesn't happen to me at all. But I believe that is more related to frequency of training a muscle group on a weekly basis rather than 30 second stuff. It only reoccurs if I take a break or get sick for a week or so and then disappears after a session or two. It could be that my body is now able to put out dopam More..ine (natural pain relief substance in your brain) constantly during the soreness period so I can't feel it, but it may in reality be there. Only a dopamine blocker would prove my theory. I don't want to test it unless that goes into a medicine journal so that more know about it than just you and me.

Yeah, pyramid is what I do when there is enough weights around. There are some exercises that I simply cannot stack more weight because there are not enough weights in the gym, or it simply propels my body. In the case of not enough weights I just put it to max and go as many reps as I can. For some exercises I can fling out of machines for example if I just let go. I.e I have to tie myself down on lat machines in order to do my weight capacity. I yoink heavier stuff downwards than I weigh. Probably going to have to do lower weights and research isolation exercises better for some particular muscle groups if I'm going to progress. Either that or invent some new stuff, which I had to do with biceps and triceps due to inevitable disco swings. Curls don't go straight up and recenters your balancing pivot, which gives you a shittier curl. But I shouldn't say too much on that since Jay Cutler, winner of mr olympia does disco swinging and seems to be ok with it. And I'm sure he's pretty strong. Less..
