Aha! Eureka! You are getting the point, It's how you interpret the figures, I have actually been to Iran believe it or not, when I went it was fairly normal, but I think things may be very different now.
The point is how you interpret the figures, which is what I keep saying.
Now if the figures for Iran are accurate, then if you are looking not to get murdered at the exclusion of all other factors then yes it would be a better place to live.

You say there is no difference in the thinking between our two nations - On what facts have you formed this? Do you see in your daily news about local home invasions? Where people's wives are held at gun point while their accomplices loot her jewelery, and basically tear their houses apart to buy drugs?
