Quoted comment by gypsofacto00102: Yeah, I have a problem with it. They just legalized it here in Michigan. Big mistake. If you look at every other place in the world whre they have legalized it, it's a crime ridden shit hole. We don't need anything to make matters worse in Michigan, shit's bad enough as it is.
Legal pot has been a failure in Europe,California and it will be here to.
P.S. I was a "wake-n-baker" for years. Fuck pot.
Name these "other places" you speak More..

The crime in BC (and all of Canada, for that matter) is many times lower than anywhere in the United States, so I don't see the correlation..

Theres many times fewer people there. However, in regards to legal pot, you should have noticed how legal mpot has caused a thriving criminal element in street gangs and espcialy motorcycle clubs, as they seek to corner the pot market. Thia is also the case in the European countries where drugs like pot a re legal. Outlaw gangs wage incredibly violent wars in public. And, unlike in America, where they stab and shoot easch other, in these other countries, especialy Canada, they use car bombs and More..

First of all, it doesn't matter how many people there are. The crime RATE in Canada is much lower than America. Since it is a rate, it takes population in to account. And places with larger populations usually tend to have lower crime rates than places with smaller populations, so your point doesn't make sense anyways.
Also, I'd like to see your evidence for "thriving criminal elements" in Canada and Europe. How would legalizing pop increase gang activity? If it's legalized, then grow More..

I believe Gypso is possibly referring to the Rock Machine/HA war in Canada concerning the car bombs.
