Laffed so hard about your remark about my AV. I guess I do look a little mean there but I'm not. Love the reptiles. Took a tag by a copperhead back in the eighties. Got pretty sick and lost the tip of my finger. Take care.

hey slither, youre one of my favorites here on LL. Hope you have a great 4th from one herper to another. Lately alot of 'White Oak snakes' and eastern kings. Swamps as always have a ton of cottonmouths.... just watched a bunch of baby anole hatchlings with the family yesterday on out deck. very cool. I'm at the firehouse and going home soon to be on call. Thunder storms are brewing on the Gulf as I speak.

Saw on the news you guys were getting beat up pretty good.
have a sister that is a senior park ranger in SD county and has a collection of rattlesnakes. she's fooking nuttier than me.
the copperhead that tagged me was a "pet" and he kicked my ass! lesson learned, I guess.

I was bitten here in Ohio but the snake came from Moorhead, Ky. I bought it for $10 from the guy that caught it. It never did tame down. I had another one that you could handle like a garter snake.
I was in St. Vincent Med. Center for three days.
How the hell did you get tagged by a cobra???
