Hi, I read part of John Perkins' book, Confessions of an Economic Hitman. I stopped reading after I saw a video of John talking in an auditorium to some Americans. Yeah I don't know. I mentioned it more for the point it makes in regards to the dodgy practises of the IMF and World Bank (over estimating net worth, economic benefit etc, wihle tying in natural resources and industry control as default payments).
Personally I read his book and thought it reeked of an attempt to cleanse his guilty conscience. It was simplistic, lacked any bite, and as you mentioned, I don't think it really took aim at those exposed.

I don't know which post precisly of mine you're referring to, but i guarentee, no matter what that officer did, people would be complaining.
