Hey Fella! Thanks for stopping by today. I read some news about a young lad that got himself killed out your way. Fell off of a flag pole at the end of the old Crystal Beach Pier. Damn shame.
Until I read that I had completely forgotten that there used to be an amusement park there. A lot of those parks seem to have disappeared. Too bad. Back in 2008 I was working a file down in Windsor and remembered going to Bob Lo Island as a kid. I found out where it used to be and it's nothing buMore..t an empty island with a few houses now.

Yes it's terrible he died, it's sad, but kids will be kids. All the stupid things I did at that age, it's a miracle I made it to the quarter century mark. I won't mention the stupid things I've done since then LOL.
