@N4CR hehe my pc, the on button just clicks, no life whatsoever, but a lil light at back indicates a power flow, so... NOTHING and a lil ol laptop halfway thru updating ran outa room/space nd said I hadta reload entire windows mofo grr was for me lad to play games on :o( the pc has most of my photography work on it :o(

Pc couldMore.. possibly be an sorta expensive one if hardware or a simple fix like loose screen plug. No clicking sounds, flashing leds etc with dead screen?
And generally with above problem, data should be okay or recoverable on another computer if ya plug the drive into it.

@fuchajen the pc doesnt turn on, the start button has no life... the screens fine, I use it for this pc sometimes when playing with photos coz this lil laptop is too small n hurts my eyes... but this plugging into another thing sounds interesting, but I would expect it needs power :o( I duno.. (the flashing light is not flashing, its just a constant, at the back of the pc indicating power flow to the unit, biut the on off button just doesnt turn it on anymore :o(
for laptop you need a local geek that can plug that drive from it in to another computer and free up some space so it can boot.
desktop sounds pretty terminal if not activity at all, psu or motherboard is likely fried if it doesn't even beep to let you know of an error.
