It might be boring for those of you who aren't interested in aviation. Birdstrike at 0:12 The video was taken with a GoPro HD on my first flight without the flight instructor sitting next to me. As you can see at 0:12, I've managet it to hit a pretty big bird (It was bigger than a crow. Can't tell what it was though...) on my first solo flight. As I saw the bird it was too late to avoid it already and heavy control inputs are dangerous anyway at low speeds. Luckily, the demage was minor. Blood, feathers and a few dents and cracks on the right hand landing gear covers - nothing duct tape couldn't fix.
