Sergeant in Saudi Arabia's air force jailed in Vegas on New Year's Eve child rape charges

LAS VEGAS - A sergeant in Saudi
Arabia's air force was jailed in Las Vegas on charges that he pulled a
young boy into a hotel room and sexually assaulted him the morning of
Sin City's big New Year's Eve fireworks extravaganza.

Mazen Alotaibi, 23, faces charges including kidnapping, sexual
assault with a minor and felony coercion that could get him decades in
state prison, according to police and charging documents obtained
Friday.

The boy, who is younger than 14, told police the man forced him into a
room at the Circus Circus hotel on the Las Vegas Strip and raped him.
Police arrested Alotaibi after being called to the hotel before 9:30
a.m. on Dec. 31.

"There was a kidnapping and sexual assault with force," Las Vegas
police Lt. Dan McGrath said. "The victim said he was forced into the
room and sexually assaulted. We have a strong case based on the
evidence."

The boy, who lives out of state, was staying at the hotel with his
family, McGrath said. He was taken to a local hospital for medical
treatment and evidence collection and released later to family members.
His name was not made public.

McGrath said Alotaibi produced a Saudi Arabian military
identification and said he was stationed at Joint Base San
Antonio-Lackland near San Antonio, Texas. U.S. federal authorities and
Saudi military officials were notified, the police lieutenant said.

Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland spokesman Brent Boller told The
Associated Press that records showed Alotaibi is currently stationed at
Keesler Air Force Base in Biloxi, Mississippi. Boller said he could not
immediately verify if Alotaibi had been at Lackland, but noted that
international military students attend a Defense Language Institute
English Language Center on the base to improve their English-language
skills.

Alotaibi's lawyer, Don Chairez of Newport Beach, California, said
Friday he had been in contact with U.S. military authorities at both air
force bases and with the Saudi government. He said Alotaibi had come to
Las Vegas for the New Year's celebration, and will plead not guilty.

Alotaibi also is charged with burglary, which in Nevada can stem from
a person entering a building with intent to commit a felony.

The alleged attack took place on the sixth floor of a 15-story hotel
tower. Circus Circus has a total of 3,767 guest rooms in three towers
and five three-story motor lodge-style buildings dubbed Circus Circus
Manor.

The arrest was first reported by the Las Vegas Review-Journal. It cited a police report saying the boy was 13.

Alotaibi was being held without bail at the Clark County jail pending an evidence hearing Jan. 17

al-Qaeda chief's younger brother arrested in Syria for aiding rebels
He was seized by Syrian troops as he prepared to meet up with rebels in Darya, outside Damascus

The brother of al-Qaeda chief Ayman Zawahiri has been arrested, it was revealed last night.

Mohammed Zawahiri, 59, was seized by Syrian troops as he prepared to meet up with rebels in Darya, outside Damascus.

But Western intelligence fears the arrest could lead to more bloodshed.

A
source said: "Zawahiri junior has set himself up as something of a
peace maker in the Middle East, although he holds the same ideals as
al-Qaeda."He believes in the spread of Islam, Sharia law and has
supported terrorist acts against the west, justifying them as jihad
against oppressors of the Islamic faith."This development could
well enhance the al-Qaeda leadership's interest in promoting violence
across Syria as Zawahiri junior is well-respected by the network."Ayman, 61, took over from Osama bin Laden after he was killed by US Navy SEALs.

He has sworn to support the rebels in their bid to overthrow Syrian president Bashar Assad.

And there are thought to be 1,000 al-Qaeda loyalists helping them in Syria under the banner Jabat al-Nusrah.

Earlier
this week it was revealed the UN fears as many as 60,000 have died in
the 21-month-old Arab Spring uprising in Syria - much more than the
45,000 previously thought.Yesterday the Syrian military pounded the outskirts of Damascus and other areas around the country, according to activists.

Warplanes bombed areas around the capital including the rebel stronghold of Douma and Darya. where Zawahiri was seized.

The
president of the UN Security Council said there could be a breakthrough
soon in the shape of a diplomatic solution to the 21-month war. There could be further meetings with the US and Russia - which has blocked attempts to sanction President Assad.

However
it is thought Assad had no intention of stepping down - a key
opposition demand - and it would be impossible to try to persuade him
otherwise. Russia and China have vetoed three security council resolutions aimed at pressuring the Assad government to end the violence.

Syrian Rebels Praise Bin Laden, Celebrate 9/11 Attacks

01/01/13) Footage of a Syrian Opposition Demonstration in which
participants sing an Al Qaeda song reminiscing upon the 'sweet memory' of
the 9/11 attacks and praising Bin Laden as their leader. This isn't the
first time the song has been featured at opposition demonstrations at
which Al Qaeda flags are commonplace.

Basic Verse translation of the song in question which is a well known Al Qaeda hymn.

"If they call me a 'terrorist', I would say: 'It is an honor for me'
Our terror is praised, with a divine calling

Our leader, the Mullah (Omar), did not forsake his religion
All the soldiers have sold their souls to Allah

Our leader bin Laden, America's worst nightmare
With the power of faith and our weapons

We destroyed America with a civilian plane
The World Trade Centre was turned into a pile of rubble

US-NATO Sponsored "Free Syrian Army" is Falling Apart. Government Forces Have the Upper Hand

US-NATO Sponsored "Free Syrian Army" is Falling Apart. Government Forces Have the Upper Hand

The FSA continues to shine like a dead star
While the French press persists in announcing the "imminent fall"
of Syria and the "flight of Bashar al-Assad," the reality on the ground
has turned around completely. Even though chaos is plaguing most of the
territory, the "liberated zones" have melted like snow in the sun.
Deprived of its anchor points, the FSA has been left with no prospects
in sight, while Washington and Moscow are poised to blow the whistle to
end the game.
The countdown has begun. As soon as the new Obama administration will
be confirmed by the Senate, it will present a peace plan for Syria to
the Security Council. Legally, though President Obama succeeds himself,
his former administration is only responsible for the managing of
current affairs and can not take any major initiative. Politically,
Obama failed to react when, in the midst of the presidential race, some
of his colleagues torpedoed the Geneva Agreement. But he proceeded with a
general housecleaning right after the announcement of his reelection.
As expected, General David Petraeus, the architect of the war on Syria,
fell into the trap that had been set up for him and was forced to
resign. As expected, the NATO and Missile Shield chiefs - adverse to an
agreement with Russia - have been put under investigation for corruption
and obliged to remain silent. Also as expected, Secretary of State
Hillary Clinton has been taken out of the game. Only the method chosen
to eliminate her came as a surprise: a serious health accident that
plunged her into a coma.
Meanwhile back at the UN, things have moved on. The Department of
Peacekeeping Operations (DPKO) signed a Memorandum with the Collective
Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) in September. In October, it
monitored CSTO maneuvers in Kazakhstan simulating a deployment of "blue
chapkas" in Syria. In December, the DPKO convened the military
representatives of the permanent Security Council members to brief them
on the manner in which the deployment could be carried out. Despite
their opposition to this solution, the French and the British bowed to
the wishes of the United States.

Nevertheless, France attempted to use the Joint Special Representative
of the United Nations and the League of Arab States, Lakhdar Brahimi, to
modify the Geneva peace plan in line with the objections it had raised
on June 30th. Ultimately, Brahimi carefully refrained from taking a
position, and instead contented himself with transmitting messages to
and fro between the various parties to the conflict.

The truth is that on the ground the upper hand is held by the Syrian
government. The military situation has been reversed. The French
themselves have ceased to mention the "liberated zones" they yearned to
govern through a United Nations mandate. These areas have been steadily
shrinking, and those that are still holding out are in the hands of the
disreputable Salafists. The FSA troops were instructed to abandon their
positions and regroup around the capital for a final assault. The
Contras were hoping to rally the Palestinian refugees, mainly Sunni
Moslem, against the inter-denominational Syrian regime in the same
manner that the Hariris in Lebanon tried to arouse the Sunni
Palestinians of the Nahr el-Bared refugee camp against the Shiite
Hezbollah. As in Lebanon this objective failed because the Palestinians
know very well who their friends are and who is really fighting for the
liberation of their land. Concretely, in Israel's recent 8-day war on
Gaza, it was the Iranian and Syrian weapons that saved the day, while
the Gulf monarchies did not move a finger.

Certain elements of Hamas, loyal to Khaled Meshaal and funded by
Qatar, opened the doors of the Yarmouk camp to a few hundred fighters of
the Front to Protect the Levant (Syrian-Lebanese branch of Al-Qaeda),
also related Qatar. They fought mainly against members of the Popular
Front for the Liberation of Palestine - General Command (PFLP-GC). Via
SMS, the Syrian government asked the 180 000 camp residents to evacuate
the premises as soon as possible and offered them temporary
accommodation in Damascus hotels, schools and gyms. Some preferred to go
to Lebanon. The next day, the Syrian Arab army attacked the camp with
heavy artillery and regained control. 14 Palestinian organizations then
signed an agreement declaring the camp a "neutral zone". The FSA
fighters withdrew in an orderly fashion and resumed their war against
Syria in the surrounding countryside, while the civilians returned to
their homes. They found a devastated camp where schools and hospitals
had been systematically destroyed.
In strategic terms, the war is already over: the FSA has lost the
popular support it had enjoyed at one point and has no chance of
achieving victory. The Europeans still think they can replace the regime
by bribing top officials and causing a coup, but they realize that it
will be impossible to bring off with the FSA. Contras continue to roll
in, but the flow of money and weapons is drying up. Much of the
international support has stopped although the consequences on the
battlefield cannot yet be seen, much like a star that can continue to
shine long after its death.
The United States has clearly decided to turn the page and to
sacrifice the FSA. It gives it senseless instructions that lead the
Contras to their death. Thousands were killed last month. Meanwhile, in
Washington, the National Intelligence Council cynically announced that
"international jihadism" will soon disappear. Other allies of the United
States should now ask themselves whether this new equation does not
imply that they too will be sacrificed.http://www.globalresearch.ca/us-nato-sponsored-free-syrian-army-is-falling-apart-government-forces-have-the-upper-hand/5317633

FSA Syrian Rebels Behead Man & Feed Him To Dogs'

A Christian man was beheaded by Syrian rebels and fed to dogs, a nun has told a British newspaper.

Speaking to The Sunday Times, Sister Agnes-Mariam de la Croix said
newlywed taxi driver Andrei Arbashe's brother had reportedly been
overheard comparing the rebels to "bandits".

As a consequence, Andrei, who was set to become a father for the the
first time, was kidnapped. The 38-year-old's remains were found in the
northern town of Ras al-Ayn, on the Turkish border.

Sister de la Croix, who is mother superior of the Monastery of St
James the Mutilated between Damascus and Homs, said: "They beheaded him,
cut him into pieces and fed him to the dogs.

"The uprising has been hijacked by Islamist mercenaries who are more
interested in fighting a holy war than in changing the government.

"It's turned into a sectarian conflict. One in which Christians are paying a high price."

Her comments come as a new report claims Christianity faces being
wiped out of the "biblical heartlands" of the Middle East, The Telegraph
says.

According to the report - entitled Christianophobia - the most common threat to Christians abroad is militant Islam.

It adds oppression in Muslim countries is often ignored because of fears criticism will be interpreted as racism.
Sister de la Croix, a 60-year-old Carmelite nun who fled Syria
earlier this year, condemned the "free and democratic world" for
supporting extremists who want to "impose Sharia Law and create an
Islamist state in Syria".

One such group is Islamist militias Jabhat al-Nusra, which has been designated a terrorist organisation by the US.

According to Time Magazine, the group has apparently claimed responsibility for "nearly 600 terrorist attacks, killing and wounding hundreds of Syrians."

It adds: "It has become one of the most effective fighting forces
against President Bashar Assad, undertaking some of the most audacious
attacks against the regime."

Franco-Automobile war...Must read.

Franco-Automobile war

The Franco-Automobile war was a civil war between the people of France and their own vehicles. It led to the death of many people and the destruction of many cars . Fortunately all of them were French .

Build up to war

By 2005, decades of social fragmentation and economic apathy had left France in crisis. Its main industries, consisting of frog's legs, berets, and complaining, were unpopular throughout the global economy, and beneath the veneer of apathy the French people struggled with anger , paranoia, and constipation .

It was in this cauldron of turmoil that disaffected Islamic youths enacted their campaign to be accepted as part of French culture. Following the George W. Bush doctrine of inventing new enemies in times of difficulty, they focused their rage on cars, which are notoriously crappy in France , and made for an easier target in addition to not fighting back. Under the battle cry "L'auto Francais est un infidel!" they began burning French cars on October 27th, while simultaneously chanting "Death to America" purely out of habit.

The war begins
The French authorities, burned by humiliating experiences with England , the United States of America, Germany , Russia , Belgium ,Luxemburg, Tom Cruise , Elmo and
the French people (to name but a few) were optimistic they had finally
found an enemy who could be defeated. Thus they encouraged the car nage by their apathy and disability to act.

But after 12 days of French authorities collectively shrugging and pulling that stupid, annoying Quoi? expression that everyone else in the World hates, the destruction had gotten out of control. 72 million cars had been destroyed, along with the cities of Paris, Bordeaux,Lille, Nice and Benny Hill Ville.
Curfews were enacted but to little effect, as people had problems
accommodating their automobiles inside their tiny one-room mud-huts.Revenge of the cars

For this reason, it did not take long for further bad news to reach the French government. On the 13th night, the generally pacifist cars finally organized themselves under the leadership of an imported German Mercendez-Benz SLK called Tinkerbell .
General Tinkerbell orchestrated counter offensives using weapons such
as determination, genuinely funny humor, hygiene products, and chunks of
sharpened mango .

Faced with such horrific weapons all native French people unilaterally
surrendered. Though still faced with resistance from immigrants (some
of whom still had a backbone, as the procedure of removal by surgery was
administered more sparingly as of late), the victorious cars declared
the start of the Ninety Eighth republic and subjugated all people within the borders of France to
a life of humiliation. This was a great relief for the French, as they
clearly had not expected things to brighten up, but to change for the
worse. In addition to being forced to wash more than once a year, the
French were reeducated that in reality, America was the Land of the Free , and that they all should emigrate to the vicinity of New Orleans to work on the cotton fields for free and make room for a stronger race .
