Another 29 were injured. The left side of the bus was torn off after colliding with a steel pipe transported by a truck. The vehicle only stopped after 300 meters. The wounded began to receive medical treatment on site and two helicopters were used to transport victims in serious condition. The bus was packed. At least 43 people were returning after a week of work in a mining company. According to police the bus driver tried overtaking in prohibited place.
