And the first thing that was done , was a concert in Reykjavik harbour . 15 boats ( ships ) in Reykjavik harbor played a concert on their horns , for ten minutes - It was controlled by the author , with a radio to the ships. And at 18:00 hours on the 24th, Christmas starts, and after dinner, presents are opened. But the day before Christmas, there is a tradition, to eat ,what is called - Rotten Fish - or rotten/decayed stingray/skate which is a traditional Icelandic dish. And in many homes in Iceland , it is forbidden to cook it ,because of the huge rotten smell. So some go to other places to cook it , and here it is cooked and served in a automobile Garage company. I enjoyed some classical music at the new concert and convention building - The Harp. The Icelandic Symphony was being conducted by the British conductor,Mr. Carl Davis. And i think you will enjoy the classical peace --- The Harp is a beutiful building - and you can see that i am quite high on the balconys. The symphony was playing music from the James Bond films. and James Bond is based on Ian Flemmings friend , William Stephenson ----and William was of Icelandic origins .
