On Thursday, the Douglas County District Attorney's office filed a motion to dismiss the case in which she was being accused of sexual abuse with a minor. "It was relief, it was happiness, it was frustration," Boutiette said. "My family and myself have been put through a lot the last nine months." The charge came about after a young man alleged that the former Coquille High School track coach had sex with him in 2006 when he was just 17. However, that charge was dismissed after the alleged victim stated he no longer wanted to move forward with the case. "We actually expected it, hoped for it for quite some time," says Boutiette's attorney, David Terry. Boutiette's trial was set to begin on Monday. "I think what this was, was clearly a case of a kid who was bragging to friends," Terry told a news crew. "It got away from him and he stuck with his story and went to the Grand Jury and testified under oath - falsely - and represented something happened which never, ever happened." Terry supplied station KCBY - in North Bend, Ore. - with the letter written by the alleged victim to Deputy District Attorney Shannon Sullivan advising he no longer wanted to proceed. In the letter, however, the former student writes: "I solidly stand by what I have stated as the truth as I remember it." Boutiette said even though the charge has been dropped, she is bothered that the District Attorney didn't come out and say she is innocent, even after she passed two polygraph tests. "I never did anything wrong and I've passed two poly's, and the DA was aware of both of those," Boutiette told KCBY. "In my opinion the accuser had nothing to back up his story. I just feel like a proper job could have been done and my family and myself could have been saved a lot of sadness that is going to be very hard for me to recover from." As for moving on with her life, Boutiette says she has to look at new career options. "I can't go back to coaching," she said. "I don't feel very comfortable going back into the teaching industry, my life has been drastically changed. Those kind of consequences are very tough to deal with because I didn't do anything and I was lied about. I feel like I've done everything I can to prove that I didn't lie." So when a shotgun was pointed at one Long Island gas station attendant he decided he was not about to be robbed for a third time. In a split second Mustapha Yakupoglu took matters into his own hands. The surveillance video is stunning and shows how cool Yakupoglu, known as Mumu, to his friends was. With a shotgun pointed right at him he barely flinches. The 47-year-old reaches for cash with one hand, he grabs the gun with the other and turns the tables on two spineless thugs. "I say 'Relax, I'll give you the money,'" Mumu told reporters. "I hold the gun up and push sideways and I take hold." Mumu had been robbed two other times at another gas station and certainly wasn't finished after grabbing the gun away from the two bumbling bandits. "I get the gun and the next thing you know they're shocked," said Mumu. "I say, 'I shoot you know' and they went running." Mumu chased the thieves right out of the store. Responding officers were amazed by what he did, especially after watching the surveillance video. It's certainly something cops don't recommend doing. Most people shy away from arm wrestling, especially knowing someone can have their arm snapped in 2 (or 3 or 4). If you have an arm like this kid though, I guess there's no need to worry. This man claims he has been training for 6 years to grow the massive trunk you see on his right arm. I guess you could say this guy is a modern-day Popeye, although at least Popeye was symmetrical. Schlitte's right forearm measures 18 inches around. 18 inches! The man you would think would be embarrassed to be associated with Popeye (I mean its not exactly a flattering comparison) was just that, stating emphatically: "Many people's first association with arm wrestling is a beer-soaked bar-table and drunken sailors - which is completely wrong." While its fun to gawk and mock him, what Schlitte has done is actually quite ingenious. If you think about it, by only increasing the size of his one forearm and no other part of his body, he has allowed himself to arm wrestle in lower weight classes, even though his arm is as strong or stronger than much bigger men than him. (KOMO NEWS) -- The man who once had half a face now has whole new look. After decades of dealing with a disfigurement, James O'Neal no longer wanted to be the man everyone stares at. Kind donations helped him pay for reconstructive surgeries, and he let KOMO News accompany him to the operating room. So for a second time, KOMO News watched as surgeons reconstructed James' face. "His nose is going to look awesome," said Dr. Peter Neligan. For a lifetime, a massive cluster of benign tumors has grown on James' face. The tumors were so heavy they moved his nose and mouth, making breathing difficult. Last November, surgeons tried to tackle that tumor, but excessive bleeding forced them to cut the surgery short. But Dr. Neligan and a team of surgeons at the University of Washington Medical Center were confident the second operation would give James what he wanted. James recorded a video diary before his first surgery. "Just a little bit of improvement would be nice," he said. Instead of the guy everyone stares at, James wanted to be the person no one notices. "That he can go some place and not hear a comment -- that's huge," said his best friend, Ray. " What makes him is what's inside, a lot of people don't give him the chance to show that." I first met James a year and a half ago. His tumor weighed 11 pounds then, but you'd never know it bothered him. found him in the checkout aisle at Safeway. He loves people and wanted a job working with the public. "Can you share with me how it is that you fit in so beautifully in a world that is so critical?" I asked him. "I just tell people, 'This is who I am; it's the way I am. If you don't like me, you don't like me,'" he said. Despite his outward confidence, customer Katie Knopf learned that James secretly yearned for reconstructive surgery. "We want to change his life," she said. When viewers saw my interview with James, support poured in. Katie started a fundraiser. Safeway donated first, and the Problem Solvers Fund swelled. Together we've raised more than $200,000. And Dr. Neligan donated his magic hands. "It's a potentially dangerous place to be operating," he said. The surgery is tricky. The thick, spongy tissue is prone to bleeding. The normal landmarks in the face are not obvious, and Dr. Neligan has to feel his way. Five hours into the second surgery, Dr. Neligan and his team were feeling really good about the results. For the first time, the definition in James' face was obvious. And the symmetry that he's wanted for nearly 30 years was starting to come out. Remember James' nose was pushed to the side? To straighten it, Dr. Neligan used a tendon from James' leg to anchor it in place. He used the same technique to reposition James' mouth. "Perfect!" Dr. Neligan said. "He looks so different." More than seven hours later, the surgery ended successfully. James was then wheeled off to the intensive care unit to recover. And when he woke up, he looked like a different person. "I didn't recognize myself when I first saw it," James said. For the first time in decades, he can see both sides of his face. Since the surgery, he's gotten used to his new cheek and chin, and even his ear, which the tumor had stretched like an old sweater. "I look in the mirror many times a day," he said. "I like the nose -- I like that best. I can actually breathe out of both nostrils, that's nice. I like that." And he feels happier and more confident. 'I think I look amazing, but what do I know?" he said. His outer beauty now truly matches what's on the inside. Because the tumors will never stop growing, James will have to undergo minor procedures every three to five years. The remaining donations will fund those procedures. James is overwhelmed by others' generosity, and says he's determined to pay it forward by helping others.
