In later years the victim took out a county court against the Childrens Society for help with counselling costs the police were called in to investigate but with many of the staff retired and records kept by the Childrens Society on paper the police could not take the case forward as the people who did this to this one victim and there were others as well in the homes who were abused ,did not leave a paper trail other than the money that staff received for allowing perverts into the homes to abuse children. The predatory paedophile was given the award as the Conservative government of the day liked rubbing shoulders with drug addicts and perverts from the entertainment industry. People can now see for themselves what many children have been saying for years - that child abuse has been going on for years without any police action in the UK. The Jimmy Savile case is not even the tip of the iceberg. His abuse has been covered up by the BBC and police, and other cases in children's homes where thousands of children were abused have gone unreported in the British media. Out of court settlements have been made with victims receiving as little as lb3,000 on condition they do not take their abusers to court or go to the press. Victims are told that if the police take the case to court they will be grilled by a defence solicitor. Some are not fit or strong enough to stand in a court and abusing organisations like the BBC know this. All in all the UK has a sick culture of child abuse.
