Canada Being Assimilated Into a U.S. Dominated North American Security Perimeter

Canada's prime minister recently addressed the CFR, a globalist think tank who have been a driving force behind the push towards deeper North American integration. The U.S. and Canada are now further advancing this agenda through the Beyond the Border agreement. Both countries are increasing bilateral border transportation and infrastructure coordination. This includes a common approach to border management, security and control. They are also integrating an information sharing system that would be used to track everyone crossing the U.S.-Canada border and entering or leaving the continent. Without much fanfare and seemingly little resistance, Canada is being assimilated into a U.S. dominated North American security perimeter.

The Beyond the Border action plan is the most significant step forward in U.S.-Canada cooperation since NAFTA. It provides the framework for future North American integration. When fully implemented, the agreement can be expanded and updated. So far, the agenda has quietly slipped under the radar. By incrementally incorporating various pilot projects and excluding Mexico from the process, it has managed to avoid the controversy of past initiatives. The perimeter security deal is being sold as vital to improving the flow of trade and travel across the border. In order to appease U.S. fears, Canada has made numerous concessions with no guarantees that it will lessen border restrictions. As part of a North American security perimeter, Canada will always be at the mercy of any new U.S. security measures, regardless of the dangers they may pose to privacy and civil liberties.

USA: Hunger strikes in America?!

A hunger strike has begun in the city of Philadelphia in response to the closure of public schools. The strike started on Monday 17 June and is currently composed of four individuals, two parents and two staff. Twenty three schools face closure in in the city, which will lead to the firing of 3,783 education professionals.

The strikers are camping in front of Governor Corbett's Centre City field office and stated that they do not intend to move until the authorities take measures to reduce layoffs. As Earlene Bly, one of the hunger strikers stated: "As long as I can sit up straight and look healthy and be healthy, then I'm going to sit here."

The aim of the action is to improve student safety, 1,202 of those facing unemployment are safety staff, responsible for food hygiene and school security. As Bly, went on to express: "I'm fasting for safe schools because I believe that our children are not safe in the school district." The strike was organized by the union Unite Here Local 634 under the motto "Fast for Safe Schools".

Around thirty youth from various Philadelphia elementary and middle schools joined the hunger strikers on Tuesday for a picket. The students carried banners and chanted "the people united will never be defeated!" and "we're fired up, we can't take it no more!" as Philadelphia residents were handed leaflets about the cause.

The closure of schools and layoffs were approved by the Philadelphia's School Reform Commission in May. Philadelphia has had heavy cuts to state aid and are being forced to address a $304 million (EUR227 Million) budget deficit in the school budget.

The Philadelphia City Council and the Pennsylvania State Legislature will meet in the next two weeks to discuss the possibility of supplementing school funding. In that case, the dismissed employees would be able to return to work for the fall semester.

London, Jan 30 (ANI): The Obama administration gave green signal to a chemical weapons attack plan in Syria that could be blamed on President Bashar al Assad's regime and in turn, spur international military action in the devastated country, leaked documents have shown.

A new report, that contains an email exchange between two senior officials at British-based contractor Britam Defence, showed a scheme 'approved by Washington'.

As per the scheme 'Qatar would fund rebel forces in Syria to use chemical weapons,' the Daily Mail reports.

Barack Obama
made it clear to Syrian president Bashar al-Assad last month that the
U.S. would not tolerate Syria using chemical weapons against its own
people.
According to Infowars.com, the December 25 email was sent from
Britam's Business Development Director David Goulding to company founder
Philip Doughty.
The emails were released by a Malaysian hacker who also obtained
senior executives resumes and copies of passports via an unprotected
company server, according to Cyber War News.
According to the paper, the U.S. State Department has declined to comment on the matter. (ANI)

Most of the action is in the second video, but all other videos a very intense too.

About 80 armed thugs attempted to take control over privately owned agricultural complex in Chausovo-2, Ukraine. Employees of the farm stood up against the thugs and brawl ensued. Several people were injured by small arms fire. Men and women alike attack while being fired upon, gotta be pretty desperate.

These kind of "corporate takeovers" are common in Russia and Ukraine. Corrupt politicians and wealthy individuals use crude force and bribes to take over successful businesses. This time they did not succeed, but I'm sure thugs will be back.

By Brian Resnick
National Journal
On Thursday, President Obama confirmed what reports had been speculating for a few weeks: Syrian President Bashar al-Assad had used chemical weapons, notably sarin gas, on his own people, and tripping the president's "red line" that would rouse the United States to greater action. The response includes arming and training the rebels. It turns out that Secretary of State John Kerry also wanted the response to include an air strike on Syrian airfields, according to Jeffery Goldberg at Bloomberg View .

According to Goldberg, Kerry's "vociferous" thoughts on the matter were not received well by Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Martin Dempsey during a meeting in the situation room last Wednesday. Apparently, the exchange got heated:

At a principals meeting in the White House situation room, Secretary of State John Kerry began arguing, vociferously, for immediate U.S. airstrikes against airfields under the control of Bashar al-Assad's Syrian regime-specifically, those fields it has used to launch chemical weapons raids against rebel forces.

It was at this point that the current chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, the usually mild-mannered Army Gen. Martin Dempsey, spoke up, loudly. According to several sources, Dempsey threw a series of brushback pitches at Kerry, demanding to know just exactly what the post-strike plan would be and pointing out that the State Department didn't fully grasp the complexity of such an operation.

Dempsey informed Kerry that the Air Force could not simply drop a few bombs, or fire a few missiles, at targets inside Syria: To be safe, the U.S. would have to neutralize Syria's integrated air-defense system, an operation that would require 700 or more sorties. At a time when the U.S. military is exhausted, and when sequestration is ripping into the Pentagon budget, Dempsey is said to have argued that a demand by the State Department for precipitous military action in a murky civil war wasn't welcome.

Bank of America Whistle-blower Bombshell: "We Were Told to Lie" to Rip Off Borrowers

Bank of America's mortgage servicing unit systematically lied to
homeowners, fraudulently denied loan modifications, and paid their staff
bonuses for deliberately pushing people into foreclosure: Yes, these
allegations were suspected by any homeowner who ever had to deal with
the bank to try to get a loan modification - but now they come from six
former employees and one contractor, whose sworn statements were added last week to a civil lawsuit filed in federal court in Massachusetts."Bank
of America's practice is to string homeowners along with no apparent
intention of providing the permanent loan modifications it promises,"
said Erika Brown, one of the former employees. The damning evidence
would spur a series of criminal investigations of BofA executives, if we
still had a rule of law in this country for Wall Street banks. The
government's Home Affordable Modification Program (HAMP), which gave
banks cash incentives to modify loans under certain standards, was
supposed to streamline the process and help up to 4 million struggling
homeowners (to date, active permanent modifications number about 870,000).
In reality, Bank of America used it as a tool, say these former
employees, to squeeze as much money as possible out of struggling
borrowers before eventually foreclosing on them. Borrowers were supposed
to make three trial payments before the loan modification became
permanent; in actuality, many borrowers would make payments for a year
or more, only to find themselves rejected for a permanent modification,
and then owing the difference between the trial modification and their
original payment. Former Treasury Secretary Timothy Geithner famously
described HAMP as a means to "foam the runway" for the banks, spreading out foreclosures so banks could more readily absorb them.

These
Bank of America employees offer the first glimpse into how they pulled
it off. Employees, many of whom allege they were given no basic training
on how to even use HAMP, were instructed to tell borrowers that
documents were incomplete or missing when they were not, or that the
file was "under review" when it hadn't been accessed in months. Former
loan-level representative Simone Gordon says flat-out in her affidavit
that "we were told to lie to customers" about the receipt of documents
and trial payments. She added that the bank would hold financial
documents borrowers submitted for review for at least 30 days. "Once
thirty days passed, Bank of America would consider many of these
documents to be 'stale' and the homeowner would have to re-apply for a
modification," Gordon writes. Theresa Terrelonge, another ex-employee,
said that the company would consistently tell homeowners to resubmit
information, restarting the clock on the HAMP process.Worse than
this, Bank of America would simply throw out documents on a consistent
basis. Former case management supervisor William Wilson alleged that,
during bimonthly sessions called the "blitz," case managers and
underwriters would simply deny any file with financial documents that
were more than 60 days old. "During a blitz, a single team would decline
between 600 and 1,500 modification files at a time," Wilson wrote. "I
personally reviewed hundreds of files in which the computer systems
showed that the homeowner had fulfilled a Trial Period Plan and was
entitled to a permanent loan modification, but was nevertheless declined
for a permanent modification during a blitz." Employees were then
instructed to make up a reason for the denial to submit to the Treasury
Department, which monitored the program. Others say that bank employees
falsified records in the computer system and removed documents from
homeowner files to make it look like the borrower did not qualify for a
permanent modification.Senior managers provided carrots and
sticks for employees to lie to customers and push them into foreclosure.
Simone Gordon described meetings where managers created quotas for
lower-level employees, and a bonus system for reaching those quotas.
Employees "who placed ten or more accounts into foreclosure in a given
month received a $500 bonus," Gordon wrote. "Bank of America also gave
employees gift cards to retail stores like Target or Bed Bath and Beyond
as rewards for placing accounts into foreclosure." Employees were
closely monitored, and those who didn't meet quotas, or who dared to
give borrowers accurate information, were fired, as was anyone who
"questioned the ethics ... of declining loan modifications for false and
fraudulent reasons," according to William Wilson.Bank of America characterized the
affidavits as "rife with factual inaccuracies." But they match
complaints from borrowers having to resubmit documents multiple times,
and getting denied for permanent modifications despite making all trial
payments. And these statements come from all over the country from
ex-employees without a relationship to one another. It did not result
from one "rogue" bank branch.Simply put, Bank of America didn't
want to hire enough staff to handle the crush of loan modification
requests, and used these delaying tactics as a shortcut. They also
pushed people into foreclosure to collect additional fees from them. And
after rejecting borrowers for HAMP modifications, they would offer an
in-house modification with a higher interest rate. This was all about
profit maximization. "We were regularly drilled that it was our job to
maximize fees for the Bank by fostering and extending delay of the HAMP
modification process by any means we could," wrote Simone Gordon in her
affidavit. It is a testament to the corruption of the federal
regulatory and law enforcement apparatus that we're only hearing
evidence from inside Bank of America now, in a civil class-action
lawsuit from wronged homeowners, when the behavior was so rampant for
years. For example, the Treasury Department, charged with specific
oversight for HAMP, didn't sanction a single bank for failing to follow
program guidelines for three years, and certainly did not uncover any of
this criminal conduct. Steven Cupples, a former underwriter at Bank of
America, explained in his statement how the bank falsified records to
Treasury to make it look like they granted more modifications. But
Treasury never investigated. Meanwhile, the Justice Department joined
with state Attorneys General and other federal regulators to essentially
bless this conduct in a series of weak settlements that incorporated
other bank crimes as well, like "robo-signing" and submitting false
documents to courts. These affidavits, however, should return law
enforcement to the case. William Wilson, the case management supervisor,
alleges in his statement that this "ridiculous and immoral" conduct
continued through August of 2012, when he was eventually fired for
speaking up. That means Bank of America persisted with these activities
for at least six months AFTER the main, $25 billion settlement to which
they were a party. So state and federal regulators could sue Bank of
America over this new criminal conduct, which post-dates the actions for which they released liability under the main settlement. Attorneys general in New York andFlorida have
accused Bank of America of violating the terms of the settlement, but
they could simply open new cases about these new deceptive practices. They
would have no shortage of evidence, in addition to the sworn
affidavits. According to Theresa Terrelonge, most loan-level
representatives conducted their business through email; in fact, various
email communications have already been submitted under seal in the
Massachusetts civil case. State Attorneys General or US Attorneys would
have subpoena power to gather many more emails. And they would
have very specific targets: the ex-employees listed specific executives
by name who authorized and directed the fraudulent process. "The delay
and rejection programs were methodically carried out under the overall
direction of Patrick Kerry, a Vice President who oversaw the entire
eastern region's loan modification process," wrote William Wilson. Other
executives mentioned by name include John Berens, Patricia Feltch and
Rebecca Mairone (now at JPMorgan Chase, and already named in
a separate financial fraud case). These are senior executives who, if
this alleged conduct is true, should face criminal liability.Bank
accountability activists have already seized on the revelations. "This
is not surprising, but absolutely sickening," said Peggy Mears,
organizer for the Home Defenders League. "Maybe finally our courts and
elected officials will stand with communities over Wall Street and
prosecute, and then lock up, these criminals."Sadly, it's hard to
raise hopes of that happening. Past experience shows that our top
regulatory and law enforcement officials are primarily interested in
covering for Wall Street's crimes. These well-sourced allegations amount
to an accusation of Bank of America stealing thousands of homes, and
lying to the government about it. Homeowners who did everything asked of
them were nevertheless pushed into foreclosure, all to fortify profits
on Wall Street. There's a clear path to punish Bank of America for this
conduct. If it doesn't result in prosecutions, it will once again
confirm the sorry excuse for justice we have in America.

GREAT-GRANDAD Quinto Greppellini has been barred from a town centre - after repeatedly complaining his peas were cold.

The 86-year-old clashed with managers at The Bradley Green, in Biddulph, in a series of rants about the temperature of the veg on his lb5.99 fish and chip dinner.

The angry pensioner was at first given a warning by bosses - but was eventually ejected from the building after managers claimed he became abusive.

Now pub giant Wetherspoon has banned the retired lorry driver from eating and drinking at the High Street pub for good.

The move has left Mr Greppellini furious, and he has lodged an official complaint.

The former miner, of Lynmouth Close, Biddulph, said: "When I used to go out driving, I always chose to eat at a Wetherspoon pub wherever I was because I enjoy the food and the drinks are really cheap.

"I had been going into the one in Biddulph for years and years but after this, I am never going in again.

"The manager said I can still have a drink in there, but I refuse to step foot in that place again."

Mr Greppellini admits to making three complaints about three separate meals over the last two weeks.

During the first incident he says waiters brought him the wrong meal and, on two other occasions, his favourite pub food was served cold.

The father-of-six, who has 10 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren, said: "When the peas came cold I was having a bit of a laugh about it with my friends.

"It was a bit of a running joke, but then I was thrown out in front of loads of people.

"It was quite embarrassing. I would like to know if it has ever happened to anyone else before because I can't believe it."

Mr Greppellini's wife, Victoria, aged 81, said: "I wasn't with him when it happened but I have been in before and I have had the same problem. The peas were cold.

"I don't drink, but I used to go in quite regularly for a meal because I enjoyed it.

"I won't be going in anymore and Quinto will just have to find another pub to eat in.

"The whole thing has really got on my nerves. I don't think it was right that he was barred."

Mr Greppellini complaint to the Wetherspoon head office was received, but the company said it stands by the decision of the pub manager - meaning Mr Greppellini will not be welcomed to eat or drink at the venue.

Wetherspoon spokesman Eddie Gershon said: "The gentleman in question has been barred by the manager at the pub and Wetherspoon completely backs the decision of the manager.

"The man had made a number of complaints about the food and had caused disruption in the pub.

"The manager explained that he would be welcome to enjoy a drink in the pub, but not to order food.

"At this point the man became more disruptive and the manager took the action to bar him from the pub, which he is fully entitled to do."

Obama & Putins Body Language Speaks Volumes

Cameron & Obama stay the fuck out of Sovereign Syria's affairs you pair of murdering bastards!!!!

 Obama's weapons-for-peace program

By Pepe Escobar

They
looked like two dejected schoolboys in front of the headmaster by the
end of the two-hour Putin-Obama summit at the sidelines of the Group of
Eight meeting in Northern Ireland. But as astonishing as the sound of
silence was the fact that, on Syria, the former KGB guy was trying to
save the "leading from behind" dude from himself.
President Barack
Obama coined the monster euphemism that they had "different
perspectives" on Syria. He said, deceptively, "We want to try to resolve
the issue through political means if possible, so we will instruct our
teams to continue to work on the potential of a Geneva follow-up."
If
Obama was really trying to solve Syria "through political means" he
would not have pre-emptively bombed the Geneva II talks with his
"weapons-for-peace" program, as in weaponizing only the "good" Syrian
"rebels" and only with a few "non-lethal" toys (that's the bottom line
of Washington's spin). "If possible" in this case does translate into
"impossible". As for the Geneva II talks, they don't rate anything
better than "potential" because Obama knows the myriad, squabbling
factions of the Syrian opposition will boycott it.
Sometimes it
sounded like Putin wanted to put Obama out of his misery (as in "Assad
must go" but I have no clue how to make him obey me). He was visibly
trying to impress to Obama that expanding the proxy war in Syria would
make the current - horrible - status quo look like a walk in the park.
Obama
didn't seem to know what Putin knows. Putin - and Russian intelligence -
know very well that the "chemical weapons" fairytale unveiled by White
House Deputy National Security Adviser Ben Rhodes is utter nonsense.
They know Rhodes previously invented the silly denomination "kinetic
military action" to define the NATO-AFRICOM war on Libya (so Obama did
not have to declare war); and they know that Rhodes set up the scenario
for the White House cover-up of what happened in Benghazi, by expunging
any CIA reference to Washington-supported jihadis. Rhodes isn't
qualified to sell bagels in the streets of New York - no offense to all
those wonderful bagel peddlers; and yet he "advises" Obama.
Putin
knows Obama would even give up playing basketball if he could find a way
to sneak out of getting bogged in Syria's civil war. Putin knows Obama
simply cannot order a no-fly zone over Syria by decree - as much as he
may be under pressure by the usual warmonger senators, armchair warrior
think tankers, corporate media and weapons manufacturers.
As for
further weaponizing foreign mercenaries, Putin did hit the home run of
the day; "One does not really need to support the people who not only
kill their enemies, but open up their bodies, eat their intestines in
front of the public and cameras."
Yet Putin is certainly aware of
Washington's Plan C or D for Syria; what is being sold as a
"humanitarian assistance", limited, no-fly zone - along parts of the
Jordanian and Turkish borders into Syrian territory. This is in fact
Libya 2.0; a "limited" no-fly zone in a flash will apply to all Syria.
"Limited no-fly zones" only exist in Spinland; this is a declaration of
war. So let's see how Damascus plays it with the S-300 missile batteries
it will receive from Russia.
Still, Putin announced that Obama would
go to Moscow for yet another bilateral summit in early September,
before the Group of 20 summit in St Petersburg.
'Reluctant' warrior?
The
myth of Obama as "reluctant warrior" is pure nonsense. Even the
Washington Post had to admit that the Obama weapons-for-peace gambit was
decided weeks ago - way before the chemical weapons fairytale.
As
for those pathetically declining former colonial inventors of the
Middle East a century ago, Britain and France, everyone in the European
Union knows that both have already declared they will further weaponize
the "rebels" by August - after the by now certified failure of the
Geneva II talks (which will happen, if ever, in July).
France is
already merrily weaponizing, in close collaboration with those
ur-democrats at the House of Saud. It seems that a French SS-11
missile is part of the package, as can be seen in this video (at 0:44).
Meanwhile,
in that realm of King Playstation also known as Jordan, security types
are all on denial mode that the kingdom is about to star as the base for
the next no-fly zone Pentagon blockbuster. Well, they are definitely
not reading the Wall Street Journal, which neatly outlines what the
Pentagon is up to: actually a "no fighting zone", to be enforced by
F-16s flying from Jordan.
It will be absolutely illegal - what
else is new - because the idea behind it is to bypass the UN Security
Council (where it would be vetoed by Russia and China) under the
pretense that "the US would not regularly enter Syrian airspace and
wouldn't hold Syrian territory." And even if it did, anything would be
justified as self-defense. Once again, the warmongers in charge are all
blissfully ignoring the Russian S-300 missiles.
By the way, lots of
appetizing warfare toys are already parked in Jordan during the current
"Eager Lion" military fun-fest, which should end this Thursday. Some
of it will benefit from an extended visa and would certainly be used in
the "no fighting zone" - especially F-16s and Patriot missile
batteries, as the Jordanians themselves are saying. Check out what Eager
Lion is aiming at: "Integrated air and missile defense and humanitarian
assistance and disaster relief to address current and future conflicts'
security issues."
Faster, pussycat, kill kill (all Shi'ites)
And
then there's Egypt's President Mohammed Morsi breaking relations with
Syria. True, as the "leader" of an absolutely devastated economy he
badly needs money from the International Monetary Fund, those handy
checks by the Emir of Qatar, and of course to smooth over relation with
US right-wingers.
Morsi's move was also a taste of things to come
from the Arab League - which nowadays is essentially the Saudi-Qatari
league, with everybody else as extras. As Qatar's foreign policy is
Muslim Brotherhood forever, Morsi's anti-Syria move served to calm down
those who hated his opening towards Iran and, so far, no explicit
condemnation of Bashar al-Assad.
Much more worrying is Muslim
Brotherhood superstar Sheikh Yusuf al-Qaradawi, of al-Jazeera fame,
issuing a fatwa for all Sunnis to go fight Hezbollah in Syria (even
though Hezbollah has already stated, on the record, it is not fighting
all over in Syria and from now on will only protect the Syrian-Lebanese
border). This al-Qaradawi outburst has already been directly responsible
for a new wave of suicide bombings against Shi'ites in Iraq. If Obama
can't see that, he should stick to basketball.
Syria's Information
Minister Omran Al-Zoubi has made the government's position very clear:
any transition of power will go through the ballot box. No wonder all
those "rebel" factions don't want democratic elections, because they
know they will lose them. This is another fact Obama would have to admit
- if he was not being "advised" by a non-entity like Rhodes: the Geneva
II talks would need to revolve around a democratic election roadmap.
This
all proves, once again, that the Obama administration would rather play
weapons-for-peace gambits than talk real democracy. In the end, what
those paragons of democracy - the GCC petro-monarchies - want is exactly
what the Anglo-Franco-American axis wants (but can't admit explicitly);
a long, horrid, protracted war where no one can claim victory. We're
now living under the terrible shade, and possible, much expanded remix,
of the 1980-1988 Iran-Iraq war.
