State Militia - K Army-FEMA Camp Tennessee State Militia/Guard has stopped DHS armored Vehicles from Kentucky - Russians with DHS Eagle uniforms I got an email from someone who I know and is part of the Tennessee State Militia/Guard.The various units of the Tn. State Guard are listed here. Let me explain the Tennessee State Guard first. 22 Governors got together last year and created State Militia/Guards that can not be federalized as the National Guards can be. They also did this due to the Federal government taking the equipment from the National Guards and sending it over to Iraq and Afghanistan. When the Governors have requested the equipment back for the state the Federal government has said "It is too expensive to bring back." The states have had to do without equipment for any emergencies of the individual states. The governors decided they would form their own State Militias/Guards that cannot be controlled by the Federal Government at any time and they are strictly under the State control along with all the equipment purchased. The person who contacted me, did so due to my article about the DHS armored vehicles and the picture I took of one when I was in Kentucky. Here are the pictures I took. The email with this information is from someone I have the utmost respect for. Here is the contents of the ;email from the person who is part of the Tennessee State Militia and was at a meeting a couple of weeks ago after getting the following email from them today 3/4/13 regarding the above Armored DHS vehicles. At our last "meeting" several weeks ago, we were advised by a High Ranking Official of the State Guard that they stopped vehicles of this type coming from KY into TN. The troops were wearing very distinct uniforms for the Dept. of Homeland Security that were not recognized and the men they stopped were Eastern European, probably Russian. Apparently, there is some type of FEMA/DHS camp somewhere in Kentucky? After receiving the above email, we spoke on the phone, I wanted to find out more information about the Russian/Eastern European DHS troops that were handling the armored vehicles. During our phone conversation. The y told me that the uniforms were not typical DHS uniforms but they had Eagles on their sleeves and it was stressed these were different DHS uniforms than regular ones. The Russian/Eastern troops were not armed that were in the DHS uniforms and they were very polite to the State Militia. They were stopped from coming into Tennessee. This person told me that in Gatlinburg, Tennessee people are reporting being questioned and stopped by DHS that are Russian. I was also told that the high ranking official mentioned Kentucky FEMA camps. I wrote about how I found out the Smoky Mountains are part of the UN last year, as most of our National Parks, including the Grand Canyon, Statue of Liberty, etc. after I saw a plaque (took pictures of it) at Newfoundland Gap last year. After speaking with this person, I have to wond er if Russian UN/DHS troops are now being placed around the Smoky Mountains. I have researched and found what could be the Military installation that the armored vehicle came from pictured in the area of Kentucky, I saw them. It is The Bluegrass Army Chemicals installation of 14600 acres. That installation has 523 tons of Nerve Chemical weapons. It is also a possible FEMA camp. It has a very strange layout. Monday, March 4, 2013 Homeland Security and Military Vehicles - Pictures I Captured while in Kentucky UPDATE 3/4/13 9:32 Am - I am bringing this up to the top, (I originally wrote and published it, in July of 2012) due to the fact it has been disclosed DHS has purchased 2700 of these for the streets of the U.S. The picture I got has #1 on it. So was it the prototype and is being built somewhere in Kentucky? A friend who was driving up the other way through Bowling Green on Interstate 65 to Louisville said he saw about 20 trucks with military vehicles that same day going North too. I was going up Interstate 75 to Lexington Kentucky. I then went on a small road to Winchester and passed this Homeland Security truck. I waited on the side of the road ahead of it to capture the picture. I was not able to get pictures of all the other military vehicles except for one. I saw many armored vehicles similar to this Homeland Security vehicle on trucks but they did not say Homeland Security on them. Coming back yesterday (Saturday 28th) I saw more going North again. I know there are military bases around but it sure does seem they are moving a lot of vehicles right now and they were all going North. I did not see any going South at all. My research into those meanings and UN - U.S. National Parks. I live in East Tennessee. I recently took a friend of mine who was visiting me up to the Smoky Mountains National Park. I love going up into the mountains and have gone many times needless to say. We camp up there often at the Elkmont campgrounds inside the park. Which as a side note has one of the only two places in the world where the fireflies are synchronized during their peak time, the first week of June. The fireflies blink at exactly the same time in the Elkmont campground - Millionaires Row area. Another side note - The Smoky Mountains are considered one of the oldest mountain ranges in the world. They are 200 to 300 Million years old. The Great Smoky Mountains are among the oldest mountains in the world, formed perhaps 200-300 million years ago. They are unique in their northeast to southwest orientation, which allowed species to migrate along their slopes during climatic changes such as the last ice age, 10,000 years ago. In fact, the glaciers of the last ice age affected the Smoky Mountains without invading them. During that time, glaciers scoured much of North America but did not quite reach as far south as the Smokies. Consequently, these mountains became a refuge for many species of plants and animals that were disrupted from their northern homes. The Smokies have been relatively undisturbed by glaciers or ocean inundation for over a million years, allowing species eons to diversify. We got up to Newfound Gap where the Tennessee and North Carolina State line divides the park, which I have gone to multiple times. We walked down the viewing walkway away from the main area that people congregate at. When we got to steps that go back up to the parking spaces, there were two plaques on either side of the steps, attached to the stone walls. somewhat obscured. I stopped to read them for the first time ever. I was surprised at what I read and took pictures of the plaques to research the information on the internet and find out what exactly the plaques meanings were. Here are the pictures I took and what the plaques say: I thought "What the Hell is a UN World Heritage site?" The way it read to me is that the Smoky Mountains are not actually a National Park of the United States and thus the People of the United States are not the owners, but is controlled by the United Nations. Did our U.S. government give up our national park to the UN in 1983? I am sure the average person who reads the plaques think "Oh, how awesome these mountains are considered 'World owned mountains and are protected through the UN.' But for those of us who know about the UN Agenda 21, we know that it means the U.S gives up Sovereignty to the UN to become a "One World Government and control of land and resources." Needless to say the above plaques disturbed me and I wanted to know exactly what their meanings were. I have now done the research and have found the U.S. government has given the UN control of most of our National Parks, including the Grand Canyon, Yosemite, Yellowstone, Redwood Forest, Mammoth Caves, Statue of Liberty, Olympic National Park, the Everglades, the list goes on. Here is the map of the 21 sites that the U.S. has allowed the UN to have as "World Heritage" sites. There are 936 of them. I began doing lots of searches for exactly what the meaning of "World Heritage and Biosphere" meant. The site is the property of the country on whose territory it is located, but it is considered in the interest of the international community to protect the site for future generations. Its protection and preservation becomes a concern of the international World Heritage community as a whole. The World Heritage Committee, a group of 21 representatives from countries who have agreed to abide by the convention, decides which sites of "outstanding universal value" qualify for World Heritage status. This category of objections includes legitimate concerns about national sovereignty, the status of private property within biosphere reserves, the amount of control the United Nations has over the management of land included within biosphere reserves, and the effect that biosphere reserves might have on the economy of nearby communities . The fundamental point is that UNESCO, the MAB Council, the MAB National Committees, or any other part of the United Nations have no power to force changes in land/resource management or ownership upon governments, public agencies, or private parties in the United States (or any other country, for that matter). Through the MAB Council, UNESCO does set standards for biosphere reserves, and through periodic reviews it assesses whether the standards are being promoted. If they aren^aEURTMt, the Council encourages the reserve manager to make the changes necessary to do so, but cannot force any changes. The United States' participation in the biosphere reserve progam is entirely voluntary, and land within U.S. biosphere reserves remains under the control of its owners. What does "biosphere" mean? The word "biosphere" refers to the three regions of the Earth capable of being occupied by living organisms: (1) the surface of the Earth (land, oceans, lakes, rivers, and other waters); (2) close-lying subsurface areas occupied by plants and animals (including microorganisms), and (3) the low-altitude atmosphere where birds, insects, other flying animals, and plants can live. If you imagine a cross-section of the Earth in space, a side view of the planet as if it were cut in half from top to bottom, the biosphere would be a very thin slice of the total picture - no more than the "skin" of the Earth along with the area just above and below it. The word "biosphere" therefore conveys a special quality of rarity and value, and of life's inherent fragility. MAB was launched in 1970, and was formally endorsed by U.N. Member States at the U.N. Conference on the Environment (the first "Earth Summit") in 1972. The original aim of MAB was to establish protected areas representing the main ecosystems of the planet in which genetic resources could be protected and research and monitoring could be carried out. These protected areas were to be called "biosphere reserves" in reference to the MAB program's name. Like all scientific programs, MAB has been refined over the years but still is committed to its original aims. Today, MAB is a set of related scientific research projects with three focuses: Minimizing the loss of biological diversity; Making people aware of how cultural diversity and biological diversity affect each other; and Promoting environmental sustainability through the World Network of Biosphere Reserves. What's a biosphere reserve? A biosphere reserve is a unique kind of protected area that differs from a national park, wilderness area, national forest, or wildlife refuge in several important ways. Biosphere reserves have three very different, but equal, aims: conservation of genetic resources, species, and ecosystems; scientific research and monitoring ; and promoting sustainable development in communities of the surrounding region. All three of these aims are equally important in a biosphere reserve. (National parks and other kinds of protected natural areas usually are primarily concerned with conservation, and only secondarily with research and sustainable development.) Under what legal authority are biosphere reserves created? Biosphere reserves are not the object of a binding international agreement or treaty. Instead, they are governed by a "soft law" - the Statutory Framework for Biosphere Reserves - adopted by the UNESCO General Conference. The participation of U.N. Member States in the UNESCO General Conference is the point of national oversight on the MAB Program. It is the responsibility of each country, through its MAB National Committee, to ensure that the biosphere reserves respond to the criteria and function properly. In most countries it is not been found necessary to enact special national legislation for biosphere reserves; instead, existing legal frameworks for nature protection and land/water management are used. That being said, today an increasing number of countries are passing national biosphere reserve legislation in order to make their legal status perfectly clear. MAB and the United States The U.S.'s role in MAB The U.S. MAB Program is a voluntary, interagency effort which operates within the existing authorities of the participating agencies. Established in 1974, U.S. MAB is operates under a National Committee. Currently, that Committee is dormant. U.S. MAB' s mission statement is as follows: The mission of the United States MAB Program is to explore, demonstrate, promote, and encourage harmonious relationships between people and their environments building on the MAB network of Biosphere Reserves and interdisciplinary research. The long-term goal of the U.S. MAB Program is to contribute to achieving a sustainable society early in the 21st Century. The MAB mission and long term goal will be implemented, in the United States and internationally, through public-private partnerships and linkages that sponsor and promote cooperative interdisciplinary research, experimentation, education and information exchange on options by which societies can achieve sustainability. **So, I read all the above and thought "It is saying two different things." First it says the sites are still the sovereign nations of where they are located. Then it says they are controlled and made sure to be kept under the strict guidelines of the UN. So.... Which is it? I found this article about what has occurred in the past and the article does say the sites are given up by the countries where they are located. Portions of article: UN's World Heritage Sites Infringe on US National Sovereignty As a result of a UN treaty called "The Convention Concerning Protection of the World Cultural and Natural Heritage," these sites come under the jurisdiction of the United Nations' Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO). Such designations have been the source of major debate as to whether the UN has infringed on sovereign American territory. However, the debate may be about to rage even hotter. Because Interior Secretary Dirk Kempthorne has just announced his selections of 14 more sites to be considered for nomination by UNESCO as World Heritage Sites. Today, of the original 22 UN Heritage Sites that are located on American soil, fully 68 percent of American national parks, preserves and monuments are included in the UN designations. Proponents of the UN Heritage Sites say such designations are nothing more than a great "honor" to the nation. They assure us that there is no threat to American sovereignty and that all designated sites remain firmly under control of the United States government. If true, then the question must be asked, why is an international treaty with the United Nations necessary? The United States has already designated most of the UN Heritage Sites as United States parks or preserved historic sites. The land is already being preserved and protected for AMERICAN heritage purposes. These lands are valuable for their historical significance to this nation. REPEAT: WHY DO WE NEED AN INTERNATIONAL TREATY TO DO WHAT THE UNITED STATES HAS ALREADY DONE FOR ITSELF? WHO OWNS WORLD HERITAGE SITES? It is true that you will not find any UN documents clearly stating that the world body controls or owns American soil through the World Heritage Site Treaty. It is also true that you will not find blue-helmeted UN soldiers standing guard over any of the sites. To fully understand the threat to American sovereignty posed by the UN designation of World Heritage Sites, one must first link this program to a series of other treaties and policies, and how they impact American sovereignty. Above all, one must understand that many in our government see such programs as another tool to build massive federal land-control programs. There is strong evidence of close collaboration between the U.S. Park Service and the UNESCO World Heritage Site Committee. There is also strong evidence that the designation of UN World Heritage Sites goes hand in hand with the Administration's Sustainable Development program. That program is nothing less than a massive federal zoning program that dictates property development on the local level, in the name of protecting the environment. The goal of Sustainable Development is to lock up vast areas of American land, and shield it from private use. The designation of United Nations' World Heritage Sites and Biosphere Reserves can and does result in the centralization of policy-making authority at the federal level, particularly by the Executive Branch. Once a UN designation is made and accepted by the Federal Government there is literally no opportunity for private American land owners to dispute it or undo the designation. Private property rights literally disappear, not only in the officially designated area, but worse, in buffer zones OUTSIDE the designated area. Not only has the federal government been using these treaties and agreements to limit access to, and use of these lands to all Americans, but they also have used the UN designations to limit use of private property OUTSIDE the boundaries of the site. That is exactly what happened outside of Yellowstone National Park (a World Heritage Site) when UNESCO delegates were called in by the Park Service in an attempt to stop the development of a gold mine - located OUTSIDE the park. The UNESCO delegates declared Yellowstone to be the first "endangered" World Heritage Site and called for a protective buffer zone of 150-MILES IN DIAMETER AROUND THE ENTIRE PARK. The buffer zone would stop development and access to millions of acres of private property. Such is the purpose of the World Heritage Sites. Moreover, in becoming party to these international land-use designations through Executive Branch action, the United States is indirectly agreeing to terms of international treaties, such as the Biodiversity Treaty - a UN treaty that has never been ratified by the United States Senate. Nevertheless, in 1994, the U.S. State Department published the "Strategic Plan for the U.S. Biosphere Reserve Program." Taken straight from the unratified Biodiversity Treaty, the State Department program is to "create a national network of biosphere reserves that represents the biogeographical diversity of the United States and fulfills the internationally established roles and functions of biosphere reserves." A chief tactic used by the UN and the Federal Government when designating a biosphere reserve or a World Heritage Site is to rarely involve or consult with the public and local governments. In fact, UNESCO policy actually discourages an open nomination for World Heritage Sites. The "Operational Guidelines for the Implementations of the World Heritage Convention" states: "In all cases, as to maintain the objectivity of the evaluation process and to avoid possible embarrassment to those concerned, State (national) parties should refrain from giving undue publicity to the fact that a property has been nominated inscription pending the final decision of the Committee of the nomination in question. Participation of the local people in the nomination process is essential to make them feel a shared responsibility with the State party in the maintenance of the site, but should not prejudice future decision-making by the committee." In other words, the nominating committee is to hide the fact that a massive land grab is about to take place. Then, at the appropriate moment, the committee is to involve some local yokels to make them think they have something to say about the grab, then send them away, so that the committee can move ahead, unhindered. They aren't suppose to worry about the fact that private landowners have just lost control of their property. This is not the way the U.S. Constitution says things should be done. This is how despots at the United Nations run things. The Administration is allowing them to do it for the sake of more Federal power. By allowing these international land use designations, the United States promises to protect the sites and REGULATE surrounding lands if necessary to protect the UN-designated area. Honoring these agreements forces the Federal Government to PROHIBIT or limit some uses of private lands outside the international designated area UNLESS OUR COUNTRY WANTS TO BREAK A PLEDGE TO OTHER NATIONS. In a nutshell, here is the real game being played. Through such policies, the Federal Government is binding our nation to international treaties and agreements that stipulate that the United States will manage these lands in a prescribed manner in order to achieve certain international goals and objectives. In other words, we have agreed to limit our right of sovereignty over these lands. That is why it is charged that World Heritage Sites are an infringement on United States sovereignty. You won't find the smoking gun by reading the treaties. It can only be found in understanding the "intent" and the "implementation" of the policies. So someone else obviously researched What a World Heritage site means previously. They found and came to the same conclusion I did after my research. Even though the U.S. government and the UN says it is an 'Honor' to have a "World Heritage" site and it stays under the control of the country it is in. That is not true, once you read the "fine print" of it all. The facts are our National Parks are not really OURS, they are the United Nations and World National Parks. The United Nations actually has the full Control over the parks. Portions: The World Heritage Convention was signed by the United States and adopted by the General Conference of the United Nations Environmental, Scientific and Cultural Organization on November 16, 1972. The purpose of the convention is to establish "an effective system of collective protection of the cultural and natural heritage of outstanding universal value" currently referred to as "global commons." In 1995 there were 469 cultural and natural sites designated in 105 countries around the world, of which 20 are found in the United States. UNESCO then goes on to say, "The Convention thus assumes and affirms the existence of a World Heritage which belongs to all mankind " or global commons . Whilst fully respecting the sovereignty of the State ...State Parties to this Convention recognize that such heritage constitutes a world heritage for whose protection it is the duty of the international community as a whole to cooperate." The procedures for listing of cultural and natural properties begin at Paragraph 17 of the UNESCO Operational Guidelines for Implementing the World Heritage Convention. Procedures for cultural sites are specifically found starting at Paragraph 23, while those dealing with natural heritage sites begin at Paragraph 43. In relationship to the nomination of a site for listing, Paragraph 14 of the guidelines states that areas are to be nominated without "undue publicity" and with the participation of local people, only so far as they don't "prejudice future decision-making by the Committee." The question of how far the World Heritage Committee can extend its authority is still unanswered, but it is certain that this question will move into the national and international court systems in the near future. Twenty-two Russian army paratroopers are in Colorado for two weeks of training with the 10th Special Forces Group at Fort Carson, a post outside Colorado Springs. The two nations' militaries have been conducting joint exercises for years, but this is believed to be the first time Russian soldiers have trained on U.S. soil, Lt. Col. Steven Osterholzer said. The Russians and Americans are training together on basic soldier skills ranging from firing weapons to making parachute drops, said Osterholzer, a public affairs officer for the 10th Special Forces Group. It's the first step toward joint exercises in more complicated anti-terrorism operations such as helicopter drops, he said. "This is the shake-hands, get-to-know-you kind of thing," Osterholzer said. "What this is not is a massive counterterrorism exercise." Some people have seen sinister motives behind the appearance of troops from America's longtime Cold War enemy at a U.S. Army post, he said. "Conspiracy theorists are alive and well," he said. Some people who've called Osterholzer have said President Barack Obama is a communist, or that the Russians plan to kidnap Americans and take them back to Russia, or that the training is a step toward universal world government. "It's been an interesting two weeks at the public affairs office," he said. The training is the result of a U.S.-Russian agreement signed a year ago. The objectives are to create a basic relationship between the two nations' militaries and to build an understanding about how each other's military works, including communications, Osterholzer said. That knowledge is vital in joint military and humanitarian operations such as anti-terrorism measures and disaster relief, he said. At Fort Carson, the training involves only unclassified weapons, and the Russians have U.S. escorts around the clock to make sure "they stay where they're supposed to be," Osterholzer said. "These soldiers are not running around amok on their own," he said. The Russians are staying in a military hotel on Fort Carson but otherwise spend their on-duty and off-duty time with their American counterparts. They'll also take in a baseball game, watching the Colorado Springs Sky Sox, a minor-league affiliate of the Colorado Rockies. "The visit has gone amazingly well and smooth," Osterholzer said. "They're excited to be here. They're motivated, they're professional. And our soldiers are the same." The Russian contingent includes a colonel but most are enlisted soldiers. Sure, like everybody else, you've listened to Pink Floyd's The Dark Side of the Moon so many times that you can recite not just every line but every heartbeat, clock tick, and cash register ring by heart. But how much do you really know about the landmark prog classic, which is celebrating its 40thanniversary this month? To celebrate the 40 years we've been listening to what is arguably the preeminent rock album of the 1970s, here are 40 things you ought to know about Dark Side. Because lunacy breeds albums about lunacy, and albums about lunacy breed lunatic obsessions with album trivia. Let's start with that iconic cover art, shall we? The band members spent three minutes deciding on the front cover. Designer Storm Thorgerson brought seven designs into the Abbey Road studio where they were still recording. "The band trooped in, swept their gaze across the designs, looked at each other, nodded, and said 'That one,' pointing at the prism. Took all of three minutes," Thorgerson recalled in liner notes for the 2011 deluxe box. In an 2003 interview, the designer elaborated, "No amount of cajoling would get them to consider any other contender, nor endure further explanation of the prism, or how exactly it might look. 'That's it,' they said in unison, 'we've got to get back to real work,' and returned forthwith to the studio upstairs." One of the rejected designs involved a then-popular Marvel comic book superhero. Imagine how differently we'd think of the album if the Floyd members had expressed any interest in one of Thorgersen's alternative ideas, to have the cover feature... the Silver Surfer! The band had always hated having their photos in the artwork. "When Storm showed us all the ideas, with that one, there was no doubt," guitarist David Gilmour told Rolling Stone in 2003. "It was, 'That is it.' It's a brilliant cover. One can look at it after that first moment of brilliance and think, 'Well, it's a very commercial idea: It's very stark and simple; it'll look great in shop windows.' It wasn't a vague picture of four lads bouncing in the countryside. That fact wasn't lost on us." It was keyboardist Rick Wright who was insistent that the cover not feature any photography at all, even conceptual photos. The Hipgnosis design team was famous for elaborately staged and photographed covers, like Wish You Were Here, which came out two years later. But in this instance, as Thorgerson remembers it, Wright "said, 'Storm, let's have a cool graphic, not one of your tatty pictures...' I protested. 'Rick,' I said, 'I do images, I don't do cool graphics.'... Whereupon Rick said, 'Why don't you try to see it as a challenge.'" The prism design was partly inspired by Floyd's extravagant live light shows. " The refracting glass prism referred to Floyd light shows-consummate use of light in the concert setting," Thorgerson said in an interview for the album's 30th anniversary. "Its outline is triangular and triangles are symbols of ambition, and are redolent of pyramids, both cosmic and mad in equal measure, all these ideas touching on themes in the lyrics. The joining of the spectrum extending round the back cover and across the gatefold inside was seamless like the segueing tracks on the album, whilst the opening heartbeat was represented by a repeating blip in one of the colors." The designer went to Egypt to shoot infra-red photography of the pyramids for an inside poster. Pyramids are triangular, like the prism on the front cover, so there was that angle. But Thorgerson also figured pyramids tied in with the album's running theme of insanity, being "fantastic structures intended to elevate Pharaohs and assist in transporting worldly goods skywards to heaven-and how mad is that?" For a while the album had a different working title. It was to be named Eclipse (A Piece for Assorted Lunatics]. The reason it had a different title for a while was because there'd just been another album come out called Dark Side of the Moon . A group called Medicine Head beat them to the punch with a 1972 release by that title, which made Pink Floyd temporarily drop it as theirs. But when the Medicine Head album flopped, the original title was a go again. "Money" is one of the few hit singles ever to utilize a 7/4 time signature. Roger Waters has made it sound like David Gilmour wasn't down with that weird rhythm. "Occasionally," Waters told Rolling Stone, "I would do things and Dave would say, 'No, that's wrong. There should be another beat. That's only seven.' I'd say, 'Well, that's how it is.' A number of my songs have bars of odd length." But part of the song does take place in a traditional time signature. As Gilmour said, "We created a 4/4 progression for the guitar solo (but) made the poor sax player play in 7/4." "Money" was influenced by... Booker T and the MGs? Though the basis of the song is a blues progression written by Waters, Gilmour has said he brought an R&amp;B influence to the song's instrumental breaks. "I was a big Booker T fan," said Gilmour. "I had the Green Onions album when I was a teenager. And in my previous band... we played 'Green Onions' onstage... It was something I thought we could incorporate into our sound without anyone spotting where the influence had come from. And to me, it worked. Nice white English architecture students getting funky is a bit of an odd thought." The opening "song," "Speak to Me," is credited solely to drummer Nick Mason, something Waters has insisted was an act of charity. "God, I resent giving that to him now," Waters said. "'Cause he had nothing to do with it... It was like a gift. It was all right at the time." "Us and Them" was originally written and submitted three years earlier for the soundtrack of the film Zabriskie Point . Antonioni's loss was Dark Side's gain. "We wanted to put it on Zabriskie Point, on the sequence where they're having the riots and the police beating heads on UCLA campus; the counterpoint between that slow, rather beautiful music and this violence going on was great," said Gilmour. "We couldn't understand it when Antonioni said: 'Ees not quiiite riiight for thees beet'." "Breathe" emerged from a song of the same name that Waters wrote for the soundtrack of a documentary called The Body , also three years earlier. But Waters' two "Breathe" songs ultimately don't share much besides a title and an opening line. At the very end of "Eclipse," in the right channel, there is the faint sound of a Muzak version of the Beatles' "Ticket to Ride." This was apparently playing in the background when they recorded the closing snippet of chatter. So far as we know, the Fab Four never demanded any royalties over this. Session vocalist Clare Torry did demand-and receive-royalties and co-writing credit for "The Great Gig in the Sky," more than 30 years after the fact. She prevailed in court, although terms of the settlement were not released; all we know is that she has been credited as a writer on all reissues since 2005. Originally she'd only been paid 30 quid for her brief studio session, and that was double the going rate because she'd come in on a Sunday night. But over the years she'd come to believe that her contributions amounted to a melody that had not previously existed in Rick Wright's instrumental composition. Asked why she'd waited so long to file suit, she told writer John Harris, "Over the years, people said to me on numerous occasions, 'What are you going to do?' I did look into it, and at first, the costs were prohibitively expensive... And also, if I'd started something when I was well into my career, I'd have been thought of as a troublemaker. So once I'd retired, I thought about it again. It went on from there." Contrary to everything you might have assumed from the audio alone for 40 years, Clare Torry is a white chick. "We'd been thinking Madeleine Bell or Doris Troy and we couldn't believe it when this housewifely white woman walked in," Gilmour told Mojo. "But when she opened her mouth, well, she wasn't too quick at finessing what we wanted, but out came that orgasmic sound we know and love." "The Great Gig in the Sky" originally had found bits of religious voice-over instead of a female vocal. Before the band recorded it, they played it live over a period of a year as an instrumental. It was then known as "The Mortality Sequence" and used taped snippets of a voice reading from the biblical Book of Ephesians and a BBC talk show hosted by theologian Malcolm Muggeridge. Torry's main direction: sing for several minutes, and don't sing any words. Waters recalled, "Clare came into the studio one day, and we said, 'There's no lyrics. It's about dying-have a bit of a sing on that, girl.' I think she only did one take. And we all said, 'Wow, that's that done. Here's your 60 quid.'" (By Torry's recollection, it was two and a half takes, and 30 quid.) Torry thought the session went disastrously and was sure they had ditched her vocal until she saw the album in a King's Road record shop. "I went in, put the headphones on, and started going 'Ooh-aah, baby, baby - yeah, yeah, yeah.' They said, 'No, no - we don't want that. If we wanted that we'd have got Doris Troy.' They said, 'Try some longer notes'... I remember thinking to myself, 'I really, really do not know what to do. And perhaps it would be better if I said "Thank you very much" and gave up.' " But rather than give up and exit the session, "That was when I thought, 'Maybe I should just pretend I'm an instrument'." The second take was outstanding, she recalls, but she said she stopped the third take because "it was beginning to sound contrived. I said, 'I think you've got enough.' I thought it sounded like caterwauling." She left Abbey Road thinking it was an experiment that hadn't worked out. "I honestly thought it would never see the light of day" until she went by a record store and saw her name was indeed in the credits. It was engineer Alan Parsons' idea to bring Torry in for the "Gig" vocal. Parsons claims he heard her singing a cover of "Light My Fire"-although she disputes that, claiming she never sang the Doors' song in her life. At the time she got the call, the only Pink Floyd song she knew was "See Emily Play," "and that didn't really hit the spot with me," she said. "They weren't my favorite band. If it had been the Kinks, I'd have been over the moon." (20) Parsons credits the band's addiction to Monty Python's Flying Circus for his ability to work in his ideas while they were distracted. "Very often, they'd stop for Monty Python and leave me to do a rough mix," Parsons told Rolling Stone. "That was quite fulfilling for me. I got to put my own mark on it." There has been some acrimony between Alan Parsons and the Floyd members over the decades. "I think they all felt that I managed to hang the rest of my career on Dark Side of the Moon, which has an element of truth to it," said Parsons, who went on to have hits with the Alan Parsons Project. But, he told Rolling Stone, "I still wake up occasionally, frustrated about the fact that they made untold millions and a lot of the people involved in the record didn't." In 2011, when Dark Side was turned into a boxed set, Parsons' quadrophonic mix was rejected in favor of a new one, and he was not invited to participate in any way. "They've seen it fit not to give me yet," he said. "That's very typical of the situation over the last 40 years or so. On many occasions I've asked to be recognized for my contributions to The Dark Side of the Moon, but both the band and the label have declined to give any sort of gesture towards me." The entire song cycle had been illegally issued as a bootleg LP long before the band finished the album. The group first attempted to perform Dark Side in its entirety live at a January 1972 concert, but a tape machine broke down, so they had to cut the performance of the piece off after "Money." After that there were fewer technical snafus and the work-in-progress was performed throughout 1972, even though some of the studio work took place in January 1973, less than two months before the album was released. A performance of the entire piece at England's Rainbow Theatre in February 1972 became a popular vinyl bootleg that year. Future super-producer Chris Thomas was brought in for the mixing process-possibly to be a mediator between Gilmour and Waters. Recalled Gilmour in a 1993 interview with Guitar World: "Chris Thomas came in for the mixes, and his role was essentially to stop the arguments between me and Roger about how it should be mixed. I wanted Dark Side to be big and swampy and wet, with reverbs and things like that. And Roger was very keen on it being a very dry album. I think he was influenced a lot by John Lennon's , which was very dry... We were going to leave Chris to mix it on his own, with Alan Parsons engineering. And of course on the first day I found out that Roger sneaked in there. So the second day I sneaked in there. And from then on, we both sat right at Chris' shoulder, interfering. Luckily, Chris was more sympathetic to my point of view than he was to Roger's." Waters seems to think he won that battle for mixer Chris Thomas' affections. Waters singled out Thomas' contribution as invaluable when I interviewed him for the 20th anniversary of the album in 1993. "I think people who feel it was brilliantly made, what they're noticing is the fact that when there's something important happening, whether it's a cash register or a lead vocal or a guitar solo or footsteps in a tunnel, you can hear it," Waters told me then. "There is space around it. And I think that that's partially at least a function of the quiet drums, which is a nice thing about it, and partially a function of Chris Thomas, who mixed it and gave the lead stuff space to exist in." Actress Naomi Watts' father makes a cameo, as the "stoned laugher." The unbridled cackling that prominently pops up in two of the tracks is the voice of Peter Watts, who was the group's road manager. He's also seen on the back cover of Ummagumma. He died of a drug OD in 1976, when Naomi was only 8. Wings member Henry McCullough is also one of the uncredited voices-but bosses Paul and Linda didn't make the cut. That's McCullough at the end of "Money" saying "I don't know; I was really drunk at the time," supposedly talking about a fight he'd had with his wife. Roger Waters "interviewed" people who were hanging around Abbey Road to get the snippets of dialogue on the album, and although the McCartneys took part in these recordings, none of their bits were used because it was thought they were trying too hard to be funny. Dark Side still holds the record for the most number of weeks spent on the Billboard top 200. The album spent a record 591 consecutive weeks on the Billboard Top 200 chart between 1976 and 1988. Counting the time it spent there before and since, it totaled out at 741 weeks, beating the former record-holder, Johnny's Greatest Hits, by Johnny Mathis, by several years. (Eventually Billboard changed the rules so that albums automatically reverted to the catalog chart and not the current chart if they dropped off for a period of time.) It is certified for sales of 15 million copies in America, although it has almost certainly sold many, many millions more than that. The 15-times-platinum certification came all the way back in 1998. Why the album has not been submitted for further certifications since then is a mystery. We do know that SoundScan has it down as selling over 9 million copies since that system was instituted in 1991, at a time when Dark Side was RIAA-certified for 12 million, so, doing the math, we could guess that it has sold about 21 million in the U.S. Waters says he was under pressure to let Gilmour do most or all of the singing on Dark Side . ""My memory is David and Rick were at great pains to point out how I couldn't sing and how I was tone-deaf," he told Rolling Stone in 2011. "And there's this bollocks that Rick had to tune my bass. And you only have to look at the body of work to realize that this is not the case. Maybe their way of keeping me from being totally overwhelming was to point out that I might have vocal and instrumental inadequacies." The version of Floyd fronted by Waters and Gilmour ceased to exist after Waters announced his intention to exit in 1985. Waters was outraged-and filed suit-when the others soon decided to carry on without him. He told Rolling Stone in 1987, "There was no point in Gilmour, Mason or Wright trying to write lyrics. Because they'll never be as good as mine. Gilmour's lyrics are very third-rate. They always will be. And in comparison with what I do, I'm sure he'd agree." After some years had passed since the split, Roger Waters and the new lineup of Pink Floyd took to performing The Dark Side of the Moon in its entirety-separately. In 1994, the Waters-less Floyd performed Dark Side on tour, including at a 14-night stand in London, where they invited Waters to join them, in vain. ""I thought it would be a good thing for the fans," Gilmour said. "But also with the safety cushion of knowing that he wouldn't do it. It was a genuine offer, though." In 2006, Waters played on the album in its entirety on tour joined by drummer Nick Mason; he had a Gilmour sound-alike sing the estranged guitarist's parts. Meanwhile, Gilmour, who had long since retired the Floyd name, took Wright out with him for a solo tour that included Dark Sideselections. In 2005, the classic lineup reunited for one mini-set at Live 8. This one-time gig included three songs from Dark Side ("Speak to Me," "Breathe," and "Money") as well as two later choices ("Comfortably Numb," "Wish You Were Here"). Neither of the band's two frontmen consider Dark Side their best album. Waters told me in 1993 that The Wall is "a much more important work." Gilmour has a different pick. "For me,Wish You Were Here is the most satisfying album," he told Guitar World. "I'd rather listen to that than Dark Side of the Moon. Because I think we achieved a better balance of music and lyrics onWish You Were Here. Dark Side went a bit too far the other way-too much into the importance of the lyrics. And sometimes the tunes-the vehicles for the lyrics-got neglected. To me, one of Roger's failings is that sometimes, in his effort to get the words across, he uses a less-than-perfect vehicle." Waters has long been frustrated with what he sees as Gilmour's who-cares-about-the-lyrics stance. When I interviewed Waters in 1993 for the Los Angeles Times about the album's 20thanniversary, he said pointedly: "If you read the interviews with my ex-colleagues, you'll find that they all say, 'We weren't really very interested in the words or what the record was about.'" He hated the idea that people would put on the album for pure ambience. For him, it was meant to be cerebral, and listened to while in one's right mind. But "through the intervening years, I've very much picked up a feeling that Dark Side of the Moon is easy-listening, wafting sort of music: You turn the lights down low and... drift away into some sort of New Age blissful state. And that's always confused me, because I at the time had thought the songs were actually about something more than that." The album has had numerous full-length cover versions. Phish and Dream Theater are among the bands who've covered the album in its entirety in concert, and the Flaming Lips released a studio version of their take on the album. There have been bluegrass, a cappella, and string-quartet album versions, not to mention the notorious, reggae-died Dub Side of the Moon. "On the Run" is often used by the Chicago Bulls as background music when opposing teams are introduced . Whether that's because the tape loop just sounds cool or because they like to subliminally remind other teams that they plan to keep them on the run isn't altogether clear. Before Dark Side , Pink Floyd considered and dismissed another concept album, Household Objects . This LP would have consisted of the band playing, yes, household objects instead of instruments. One artifact from that, an instrumental called "The Hard Way," was included on the 2011 Dark Side boxed set. Although it's a fascinating what-if, we can all be grateful they decided guitars, synths, and madness 'n' mortality were the way to go with the follow-up to Meddleafter all. The album won one whole Grammy award. That went to Parsons, for best-engineered recording. The band members swear they never watched or even thought about The Wizard of Oz while making the album. But that hasn't stopped tens of millions of conspiracy theory-loving dreamers from synching the two up. These stiff-necked people of God were in constant revolution against the Romans and paying a great penalty for it. (7) And there was one called Barabbas , bound with them that had made insurrection (revolution), men who in the insurrection had committed murder. Notice that Barabbas and many with him were in prison for making a revolution against the Romans. Jesus suffered in the place of this Jewish patriot. Because Jesus went to the cross, a remnant of these people who truly are "sons of the Father" will be forgiven and saved. Militant patriots do not understand what the Holy Spirit showed in this text, that killing Romans or Americans is " murder " and that those who steal from them are " robbers ." Remember, God did not defend almost 1000 very religious patriots whom the Romans destroyed. In 66 A.D. when the Jews rebelled against the Romans, they captured this mountain 1000 meters above the Judean wilderness. While the carnal people of God were having their revolution against the government, Jesus and the disciples were having a spiritual revolution against them. Jesus and Paul's revolution was to use the Word to separate the chosen from the carnal church. Neither of them had anything to do with wrestling with a flesh and blood beast system. I was naturally scared so I hid under the bed, shaking like a leaf with my legs sticking out. The soldiers didn't have any U.N. symbol but were probably a makeshift multi-national army. A black and a white soldier had yellow torches and M-16 machine guns with them. They were looking and thrashing everywhere trying to look for me. The black soldier was looking under the bed I was under. The funny thing was I was right in front of him with my feet sticking out but it appeared he couldn't see me. Suddenly, it dawned on me that I was invisible to the soldiers. They couldn't see me. After awhile, the soldiers left frustrated at not being able to find me. I must say that the fear and terror of the situation was unbelievable. A few days later this helicopter came and sprayed this chemical and the surrounding place turned all brown. They probably had been given orders to let no survivors that they couldn't find live. Anyway, even before they sprayed I noticed that the surrounding vegetation looked brownish, maybe from nuclear fallout. Miraculously, with all this happening I was still alive and the dream ended there. Notice that God's people did not resist and only those who needed captivity were taken. We should not put it beyond God's ability to supernaturally hide those who do not need more crucifixion. If He could translate me halfway around the world, He can certainly make us invisible to the enemy. Bob Aicardi also had a dream like this. I found myself cautiously walking the floors of a very large government building, which was occupied by foreign troops, and I knew that as an American I was not supposed to be there. I was noticed by a worker, who set off an intruder alert. Down the corridor the entrance doors slammed shut and locked. As I walked up to the doors they opened and I passed through to escape. Once outside, perimeter guards were alerted and were all about. I walked through them as invisible and saw another man doing the same thing. I said to him, "Isn't the blood of Jesus wonderful?" We see that not only can God protect those who are mature but He can also give rest to those who need to submit to their cross. (Jn.19:11) Jesus answered him, Thou wouldest have no power against me, except it were given thee from above. Like our Lord, we are to receive everything as from God and leave retaliation up to Him. (Rom.12:17) Render to no man evil for evil . Take thought for things honorable in the sight of all men. (18) If it be possible, as much as in you lieth, be at peace with all men . (19) Avenge not yourselves, beloved, but give place unto the wrath : for it is written, Vengeance belongeth unto me ; I will recompense, saith the Lord. (20) But if thine enemy hunger, feed him; if he thirst, give him to drink : for in so doing thou shalt heap coals of fire upon his head. (21) Be not overcome of evil, but overcome evil with good . Our old man wants to live by defending self and retaliating, but our obedience to these commands crucifies that carnal nature in us. Satan seeks through well-meaning people to keep us from this cross. (Mt.16:21) From that time began Jesus to show unto his disciples, that he must go unto Jerusalem, and suffer many things of the elders and chief priests and scribes, and be killed, and the third day be raised up. (22) And Peter took him, and began to rebuke him, saying, Be it far from thee, Lord: this shall never be unto thee. (23) But he turned, and said unto Peter, Get thee behind me, Satan: thou art a stumbling-block unto me: for thou mindest not the things of God, but the things of men. Notice that Peter, by the spirit of Satan was a stumbling block by trying to dissuade Jesus from going to His cross. Peter later took the sword, to try to enforce his way and again met with rebuke. (24) Then said Jesus unto his disciples, If any man would come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me . (25) For whosoever would save his life shall lose it : and whosoever shall lose his life for my sake shall find it. Even when we are at our best, the hidden carnal nature must be crucified. (1Pet.2:20) For what glory is it, if, when ye sin, and are buffeted , ye shall take it patiently? but if, when ye do well, and suffer , ye shall take it patiently, this is acceptable with God. (21) For hereunto were ye called : because Christ also suffered for you, leaving you an example , that ye should follow his steps : (22) who did no sin, neither was guile found in his mouth: (23) who, when he was reviled, reviled not again; when he suffered, threatened not; but committed to him that judgeth righteously. What could be clearer? We are to follow in Jesus' steps by cooperating with God's process of using the harlot religious system and the beast kingdom to bring us to the cross. We are not to resist them by force. The laws of our kingdom do not permit us to fight in the flesh to escape captivity. (Jn.18:36) Jesus answered, My kingdom is not of this world : if my kingdom were of this world, then would my servants fight, that I should not be delivered to the Jews: but now is my kingdom not from hence. In the days leading up to a civil war in the midst of the One World Order, many will stand up against the U.S. as the king of the South. Included among these are some of God's people who will try to impose their vision of the kingdom of God in the U.S. by violent methods, but they will be killed. (Dan.11:14) And in those times there shall many stand up against the king of the south: also the children of the violent among thy people shall lift themselves up to establish the vision; but they shall fall. God will not permit fleshly methods to have any success so that His people learn to walk in the Spirit. (12:7)...t shall be for a time, times, and a half; and when they have made an end of breaking in pieces the power of (self in) the holy people , all these things shall be finished. Notice that our temptation to use our own power must be crucified. (Zech.4:6)...Not by (our) might, nor by (our) power, but by my Spirit, saith Lord of hosts. War is of the world and is motivated by lust, not God. (Jas.4:1) Whence wars and whence fightings among you? not hence, of your pleasures that war in your members? (2) Ye lust , and have not: ye kill, and covet, and cannot obtain: ye fight and war; ye have not, because ye ask not. Those who join with the world to make war on their enemies are enemies of the cross and of God. (4) Ye adulteresses, know ye not that the friendship of the world is enmity with God? Whosoever therefore would be a friend of the world maketh himself an enemy of God. Those who preach peace and safety, and refuse to cooperate with God in this process of falling to the earth to die will be cut off. (Amos 9:8) Behold, the eyes of the Lord are upon the sinful kingdom , and I will destroy it from off the face of the earth; save that I will not utterly destroy the house of Jacob, saith the Lord. (9) For, lo, I will command, and I will sift the house of Israel among all the nations, like as is sifted in a sieve, yet shall not the least kernel fall upon the earth. (10) All the sinners of my people shall die by the sword, who say, The evil shall not overtake nor meet us . We are coming to the same tribulation days of sifting as it was with Peter. Even though Peter initially denied the Lord, he got back up and became a strong leader who gave his old life. Satan is ordained of the Lord to sift the disciples to get the husk that is his, so that God may have the pure fruit of Christ. Here is a prophecy through Thomas S. Gibson that relates the persecution the U.S. will bring against Christianity to separate the true saints from the tares. Thus says the Lord, repent and listen to the Word of God. Note that there shall be persecutions arising in all places, throughout the U.S. and Canada, and through Europe . These nations shall rise up in persecutions against My people . It shall purge the Church. Those of Mine , that are truly Mine, who walk in power and are committed to Me, they shall stand in this persecution no matter what it brings. God is sovereign in the happenings of history in order to show us what will happen in the latter days, for, "That which hath been is that which shall be." In the time of the tribulation of Christ's day, Rome had swallowed up the people of God. Through Babylon's type we see that the U.S. will swallow up the people of God before her fall. I do, too, but the flesh is stirred up to fight when we think on the conspiracies, rather than the promises and the way of the cross. We are taught to study Truth rather than the evil in conspiracies because Truth has power unto Godliness, which delivers from evil. Those who are taught to recognize counterfeit bills don't study counterfeits because there are too many possibilities. They study the real bills. That way they can recognize all counterfeits. The Word gives us eyes to see all errors. Some waste all their time studying evil governments. All secular governments are evil just as the one in Jesus' day but He stuck to the business of the Father, taught the Word, and let patriots like Barabbas fight with flesh and blood to their own destruction. I also know that this government will persecute and crucify the saints when the time comes. I say with Jesus, "Not my will, but thine be done". If we are not willing to give up our carnal life in order to be obedient to the Word, then we will not be counted worthy of a heavenly life. Any who stir up God's people to take the sword will be guilty of their blood when they die by the sword, as the Word says will surely happen. Antichristian militant "Christians" will not stand for their rights being taken away and will fight against their governments. What do you think they will do when world law is imposed and the mark of the beast is inevitable? Civil war. States are seeing their Constitutional authority undermined by the socialistic moves of the Obama administration. Ezekiel, as a type of the Man-child, prophesied that the apostate leadership of God's people would be brought into bondage by the "great eagle" , as a type of the U.S. He also saw and warned that part of that leadership would lead part of God's people to rebel against the "great eagle" to their own destruction. (4) he cropped off the topmost of the young twigs thereof (the immature leadership of Christianity),and carried it unto a land of traffic (Babylon/U.S.); he set it in a city of merchants (U.N. in New York) . The top recognized leadership of Christianity along with leadership of other religions will be given a position of authority as a corporate false prophet over the United Religions harlot. (5) He took also of the seed of the land (God's people), and planted it in a fruitful soil; he placed it beside many waters.... God's people will be put "beside many waters " , which are the peoples of the world depicted by the "many waters" that the harlot sits upon in Revelation 17:1,15. Therefore the people of God, righteous or apostate, will be put under the authority of the harlot as it was in Jesus' day. (6) And it grew, and became a spreading vine of low stature (the harlot cannot overcome to lift herself from the earth), whose branches turned toward him, and the roots thereof were under him : so it became a vine . The false prophet leadership of the harlot will rule with the ten kings as the little horn among the ten horns in the U.N. beast under the "great eagle" , the U.S. The Lord confirms this interpretation in the text. (12) Say now to the rebellious house... Behold, the king of Babylon came to Jerusalem, and took the king thereof, and the princes thereof, and brought them to him to Babylon . The nations with the U.S. "great eagle" at the head will confirm a covenant with this false prophet leadership of God's New Testament people, uniting them with the false religions in the U.N. in New York. (13) And he took of the seed royal , and made a covenant with him ; he also brought him under an oath , and took away the mighty of the land. Notice in these verses that the king and all of the princes of Israel were called "him" meaning they are a corporate False Prophet. This covenant will be hidden from the apostates and their leaders. They will fulfill the type of the Jews in Jesus' day, who didn't realize that they had made a covenant with the beast to crucify the saints. To keep the peace, the Roman beast gave the apostates authority over the saints. History repeats. The strong delusion of the letter of the Word has already convinced the false leadership of Christianity of a fairytale covenant between a man called the antichrist and the letter Jews. Meanwhile the real covenant will be fulfilled in the spirit under their noses. To them this could not be the covenant because they have not yet been raptured and their antichrist hasn't shown up. This covenant with the beast will make God's apostate people preach an even more impotent gospel, because it is a covenant of tolerance for all false religions and all sinners in a vain effort to bring peace to the world. (14) hat the kingdom might be base, that it might not lift itself up, but that by keeping his covenant it might stand. The apostates will be permitted to stand in the world as the base kingdom of the religious harlot. We just saw the word "covenant" mentioned in verses thirteen and fourteen. It was at this point in my revelation that the Spirit said to me, "From the first mention of the word 'covenant' in verse thirteen count. How many verses does the word 'covenant' cover?" Thirteen is the number in Scripture that stands for apostasy and rebellion. Including verse thirteen, the word "covenant" covers seven verses (13-19). I was impressed that this represents the seven years of the covenant of the beast in the Tribulation. Then I heard, "How many times is the word 'covenant' spoken in those verses?" "Covenant" is mentioned six times in these seven verses. Six is the number of man and of the beast. As we saw, the six th book, six th chapter, six th verse and six th word of the New Testament is "man" ( Rom . 6 : 6 ). It was at this point the Spirit directed me to count, "How many verses before the "covenant" is broken?" In the "midst" of the fourth verse the words " covenant he brake " are spoken. (16) As I live, saith the Lord, surely in the place where the king dwelleth that made him king, whose oath he despised, and whose covenant he (apostate leadership) brake , even with him in the midst of Babylon he shall die. This also is in the "midst of the seven" verses, which is a quote from the Hebrew in Daniel 9:27. "And he shall make a firm covenant with many for one seven : and in the midst of the seven (Hebrew) he (beast) shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease." Notice in these two verses that the apostate rebel leadership of God's people will break the covenant so the beast will cause the " sacrifice " to cease. At the time when the crowns of authority will be taken from the seven heads and given to the ten horns, the beast will make the mark compulsive. This will be a vain attempt to enforce peace by identifying those who are in covenant with the beast and those who are enemies and/or commit crimes. This will cause both true Christians and militants to be enemies of the state. The U.S. already has created the literal mark and is exporting it to the world. The U.S. will use their persuasion over the beast kingdom to make the mark compulsive in the midst of the Tribulation. Many apostate Christians will take it and become reprobated. What is left of their life of submitting their "bodies a living sacrifice , holy, acceptable to God" will cease as an "abomination that maketh desolate". In this same text we see the nature of this rebellion which breaks the covenant of peace. (15) But he rebelled against him in sending his ambassadors into Egypt , that they might give him horses and much people. Shall he prosper? shall he escape that doeth such things? shall he break the covenant, and yet escape ? This covenant is broken when the rebellious people of God, who were told by God to submit to Babylon, as we shall see, instead went to another "great eagle with great wings", Egypt, for strength to fight with arms against her. (Ezk.17:7) There was also another great eagle with great wings and...this vine did bend its roots toward him . Notice that the same terminology is given to describe a second eagle. This is because both of these great eagles represent the U.S. Foolish Christians in the U.S. will go down to Egypt to fight with her when they see their rights being taken away or, for some, when they see the mark coming. What does Egypt represent? God's people came out of Egypt and were baptized in the Red Sea where the Egyptians, representing the old man, died. To go back to Egypt spiritually is to trust in the strength of the old man, the arm of the flesh. (Isa.30:1) Woe to the rebellious children, saith the Lord, that take counsel, but not of me; and that make a league, but not of my Spirit , that they may add sin to sin , (2) that set out to go down into Egypt , and have not asked at my mouth; to strengthen themselves in the strength of Pharaoh , and to take refuge in the shadow of Egypt! (3) Therefore shall the strength of Pharaoh be your shame, and the refuge in the shadow of Egypt your confusion. Some of God's foolish people with a conservative patriotic faction of this nation will take up arms to fight against it. This pits the "great eagle" against the "great eagle" , or civil war. God asked the question in our seven verse text: "shall he break the covenant, and yet escape" (Ezk.17:15)? God's answer to this question is that these rebels will be crushed: (17) Neither shall Pharaoh with his mighty army and great company help him in the war.... (18) For he hath despised the oath by breaking the covenant ; and behold, he had given his hand, and yet hath done all these things; he shall not escape.... (21) And all his fugitives in all his bands shall fall by the sword , and they that remain shall be scattered toward every wind: and ye shall know that I, the Lord, have spoken it. When Peter used the sword to keep Jesus from going to the cross, He said, " ll they that take the sword shall perish with the sword" (Mt.26:52). Even though the true saints will not obey the religious aspects of this peace covenant, they will not take "the sword" of man and break their covenant with God as the apostates and their leadership will. The last of the seven verses says this. (19) Therefore thus saith the Lord: As I live, surely mine oath that he hath despised, and my covenant that he hath broken, I will even bring it upon his own head. The righteous will keep God's covenant even if it costs them their physical life but the self-willed will rebel. After bringing apostate Israel as a type of the Christians under his dominion in the beginning of what we would call the tribulation, Nebuchadnezzar appointed the Zedekiah administration to rule over them. This is the "he" above who rebelled with a large portion of Israel. Jeremiah, who represented the Man-child, prophesied against these apostate rebels in the parable of the two baskets of figs. (Jer.24:8) And as the bad figs , which cannot be eaten, they are so bad, surely thus saith the Lord, So will I give up Zedekiah the king of Judah, and his princes, and the residue of Jerusalem, that remain in this land, and them that dwell in the land of Egypt, (9) I will even give them up to be tossed to and fro among all the kingdoms of the earth for evil; to be a reproach and a proverb, a taunt and a curse, in all places whither I shall drive them. (10) And I will send the sword, the famine, and the pestilence, among them , till they be consumed from off the land that I gave unto them and to their fathers. On the other, hand those who submitted to the Word of the Lord through the Man-child Jeremiah were the blessed of the Lord. (24:4) And the word of the Lord came unto me, saying, (5) Thus saith the Lord, the God of Israel: Like these good figs , so will I regard the captives of Judah, whom I have sent out of this place into the land of the Chaldeans, for good . (Notice that this captivity is going to be "for good" to the "good figs" who obey the Word and refuse to rebel.) (6) For I will set mine eyes upon them for good , and I will bring them again to this land (Notice Father will bring them to the New Jerusalem and land because Nebuchadnezzar had destroyed the former apostate Jerusalem and land.): and I will build them, and not pull them down; and I will plant them , and not pluck them up. (7) And I will give them a heart to know me , that I am the Lord: and they shall be my people , and I will be their God; for they shall return unto me with their whole heart. All we have to do is replace the church in the Ezekiel 17 parable of civil rebellion above with natural Israel and we see another more natural interpretation, which is being attempted now. The U.S., which is at the head of the nations, is pushing Israel hard to give up land and make a covenant with the nations around them. Israel's natural ally in the United States is the apostate Christians and Jews who militantly support her. Since this ultimately will be a political and religious covenant both of these interpretations are coming to pass at the same time. It is certainly true that the beast is forcing both Israel and the Christians to give up their land now. Beastly laws are forcing Christians out of the moral ground that they have held on issues such as abortion, sexuality, schooling, displays of Christian heritage, etc. In the U.S., this holy ground has been held since the more Christian times of the founding fathers. Eventually Israel and the apostate Christians will rebel against this covenant and turn to the militant arm of flesh represented by the great eagle of Egypt. Then they will both find themselves a burdensome stone that have something in common; the ire of the nations. Let me explain the Tennessee State Guard first. 22 Governors got together last year and created State Militia/Guards that can not be federalized as the National Guards can be. They also did this due to the Federal government taking the equipment from the National Guards and sending it over to Iraq and Afghanistan. When the Governors have requested the equipment back for the state the Federal government has said "It is too expensive to bring back." The states have had to do without equipment for any emergencies of the individual states. The governors decided they would form their own State Militias/Guards that cannot be controlled by the Federal Government at any time and they are strictly under the State control along with all the equipment purchased. Here is the contents of the email from the person who is part of the Tennessee State Militia and was at a meeting a couple of weeks ago after getting the following email from them today 3/4/13 regarding the above Armored DHS vehicles. At our last "meeting" several weeks ago, we were advised by a High Ranking Official of the State Guard that they stopped vehicles of this type coming from KY into TN. The troops were wearing very distinct uniforms for the Dept. of Homeland Security that were not recognized and the men they stopped were Eastern European, probably Russian. Apparently, there is some type of FEMA/DHS camp somewhere in Kentucky? After receiving the above email, we spoke on the phone, I wanted to find out more information about the Russian/Eastern European DHS troops that were handling the armored vehicles. During our phone conversation. The y told me that the uniforms were not typical DHS uniforms but they had Eagles on their sleeves and it was stressed these were different DHS uniforms than regular ones. The Russian/Eastern troops were not armed that were in the DHS uniforms and they were very polite to the State Militia. They were stopped from coming into Tennessee. This person told me that in Gatlinburg, Tennessee people are reporting being questioned and stopped by DHS that are Russian. I was also told that the high ranking official mentioned Kentucky FEMA camps. I wrote about how I found out the Smoky Mountains are part of the UN last year, as most of our National Parks, including the Grand Canyon, Statue of Liberty, etc. after I saw a plaque (took pictures of it) at Newfoundland Gap last year. After speaking with this person, I have to wond er if Russian UN/DHS troops are now being placed around the Smoky Mountains. I have researched and found what could be the Military installation that the armored vehicle came from pictured in the area of Kentucky, I saw them. It is The Bluegrass Army Chemicals installation of 14600 acres. That installation has 523 tons of Nerve Chemical weapons. It is also a possible FEMA camp. It has a very strange layout. Edit to add, thought - 3/5/13 7:41 Am - If the U.S. government plans on having Russian DHS troops, due to not caring about the U.S. citizens to handle the people for any unrest, due to them not believing U.S. citizens troops will follow orders to disarm the people or doing what they think needs to be done. They haven't thought this out completely. They were shocked that after Sandy Hook all guns and ammo went flying off the shelves, from my understanding they were not expecting that, they expected the opposite. They believe the Russians will shoot the people without hesitation? Well it goes the other way too. The U.S. citizens will not hesitate to shoot any Russian soldier that comes to their doors or tries to disarm the people. Remember it goes both ways... no hesitation on either side to shoot the other. Monday, March 4, 2013 Homeland Security and Military Vehicles - Pictures I Captured while in Kentucky UPDATE 3/4/13 9:32 Am - I am bringing this up to the top, (I originally wrote and published it, in July of 2012) due to the fact it has been disclosed DHS has purchased 2700 of these for the streets of the U.S. The picture I got has #1 on it. So was it the prototype and is being built somewhere in Kentucky? While driving up there I came across at least 10 different trucks hauling military vehicles going North. I even came across them in the small town of Winchester Kentucky, which is where I took the first picture of a Homeland Security armored vehicle. A friend who was driving up the other way through Bowling Green on Interstate 65 to Louisville said he saw about 20 trucks with military vehicles that same day going North too. I was going up Interstate 75 to Lexington Kentucky. I then went on a small road to Winchester and passed this Homeland Security truck. I waited on the side of the road ahead of it to capture the picture. I was not able to get pictures of all the other military vehicles except for one. I saw many armored vehicles similar to this Homeland Security vehicle on trucks but they did not say Homeland Security on them. Coming back yesterday (Saturday 28th) I saw more going North again. I know there are military bases around but it sure does seem they are moving a lot of vehicles right now and they were all going North. I did not see any going South at all. Anyone else noticing a lot of moving of military vehicles? Anyone seeing these Homeland Security vehicles on trucks around the country? Twenty-two Russian army paratroopers are in Colorado for two weeks of training with the 10th Special Forces Group at Fort Carson, a post outside Colorado Springs.
