It came after footage emerged purportedly showing him in an erotic embrace with a pal.was captured by cyclist Alejandro Mejias' helmet-cam. Mejias was biking on trails through the wooded area of Los Cuadros de Murcia - an area reportedly popular with dog owners - when he stumbled across the pair, He can be clearly heard uttering a profanity on seeing the two men. The footage, uploaded to YouTube, has been seen more than 7,000 times and spread across Facebook and Twitter, reports La Verdad. Ruiz claims it is not him in the images and has contacted police to have the clip destroyed, "I have never been in the area and I do not recognize those images that you are describing. It is a montage," he added. But Spanish media has widely reported that it is him in the video. A statement from the Diocesis of Cartagena said the priest had been replaced by Antonio Ballester Serrano. The four-day undercover investigation targeted prostitution websites on which men and women advertising prostitution or soliciting prostitution, the sheriff's office said. Mohammed Ahmed, originally from Illinois, was on his honeymoon when he answered to an ad from an undercover detective posing as a prostitute, authorities said. When the 21-year-old did not return to the hotel, his wife reported him missing, the sheriff's office said. His wife was later notified that he had been charged with prostitution and possession of marijuana. Samuel Yoon, a youth minister at the Holy Cows youth ministry, New Community Mission Church in San Leandro, Calif., was in Orlando for a youth conference when he responded to an ad posted by an undercover detective offering women for sale, authorities said. Yoon, 45, was expecting to meet a 14-year-old girl, the sheriff's office said. He now faces including traveling to meet a minor and using a two-way communication device to commit a felony. Michael Kempfer, from Orlando, was arrested after he brought a 15-year-old girl as a prostitute to the undercover location, authoriteis said. Others arrested included 12 "pimps" who brought prostitutes to the undercover location, 39 prostitutes, 39 people who were willing to pay for sex from prostitutes and two others who went with suspects to the undercover location and were arrested on other charges, the sheriff's office said. The investigation took place from May 8 through May 11. Among the charges filed are aiding and abetting prostitution, deriving proceeds from prostitution, possession of illegal drugs and resisting an arrest. Ahmed and Yoon were released from jail, while Kempfer remained in jail Tuesday on a $2,250 bond. The other three men then threw punches at the officers who were trying to block their escape. Carolyn Jones Hibberd and Sherry Bradley had sons assigned to 3rd Battalion, 2nd Marines, during the unit's 2011 deployment to Afghanistan. On April 27, Cpl. Adam Jones was killed after stepping on an improvised explosive device. About five weeks later, Sgt. Mark Bradleyspotted what appeared to be an insurgent burying an IED. When he moved in to investigate, another explosion was triggered and he suffered severe lower-body injuries from an IED. He died June 16 at Bethesda Naval Medical Center in Maryland. With their fellow Marines still on their minds, a team of scout snipers with 3/2 set out to conduct a counterinsurgency operation on July 27. Four of them, including Staff Sgts. Edward Deptola and Joseph Chamblin and Sgt. Robert Richards, filmed themselves urinating on the corpses of three enemy fighters they killed that day. All told, seven Marines faced punishment after the video surfaced online in January 2012. Deptola and Chamblin were busted down in rank to sergeant following separate courts-martial. It has been recommended that Richards' case also go to court-martial. When asked why they did it, Deptola - who testified during Richards' Article 32 hearing at Camp Lejeune, N.C., in April - said killing them just wasn't enough. But the pain Marines feel when they see their brothers murdered and mutilated is a close second, she said, because of the intense bond they form. "They are brothers," she said. "I ... know it to be true. You cannot control what this pain does to your heart and mind." When the video first surfaced, it was necessary for Marine leaders to condemn it, Bradley said. But now that nearly two years have passed, she wishes the Marine Corps would just move on. "I think the way they've handled this is more to satisfy the general public," she said. By continuing to draw attention to the issue, the Corps runs the risk of having more people who don't understand the military lifestyle develop a negative view of Marines, Bradley said. "This was made huge, and then people like me have to work with people who don't respect the military because of and things they hear," she said. "But they've never been around the military, have never had family in the military."
