Why Al Quseir, Hezbollah And Whats Really Behind It

I found this article very interesting and just wanted to share. It help me a little bit to understand why some big powers would go so far and openly (almost) support terrorism to achieve their geopolitical goals.
Text was Google-translated
Al-Quseir lies on the road between Damascus and the Mediterranean coast.

For the rebels control over al-Quseir is necessary because it serves as a link to the mountainous terrain
in the north of Lebanon, where mercenaries are being moved deep into Syria. Elimination of this base will allow the government army commanders to consider the problem for the release of
militants from the northwestern province of Idlib and Aleppo.

The Israeli press reported that the attention of all the regional intelligence focused on the area between
Baalbek and the Syrian border. This is the "heart and lungs war machine Lebanese Shiite organization,"
"Hezbollah".

Worries Israelis are not just noticeable - it is accented! What does this mean?
Syrian resource
"Al-Haqiqa>> story on the value of the fight for al-Quseir, which brings on
the side of the Syrian army and soldiers of "Hezbollah".

Al-Haqiqa>> based on the information the British diplomat who until recently worked in Damascus until
the closure of its embassy there.

Al-Quseir is a unique case - the head of "Hezbollah", Sheikh Nasrallah, openly acknowledged the
participation of its people in this battle for the Syrian city. According to him, it is about
"limited" involvement in order to protect residents in the vicinity of minorities, especially Shiites, whose land and property in the last few months have been confiscated by Sunni Islamist insurgents "Dzhabhat
en-Nusra" and "al-Faruq Brigades."

But is this the real reason for intervention, "Hezbollah"?
And he said the following:
"Here, on this small area concentrated all the regional and international dimensions of the Syrian conflict.
On the surface,
"Hezbollah" is trying to protect the Shiites. But in reality, there is a real World War IIL, there face to face great powers - not metaphorically, but really.

Sometimes their representatives are invisible, like ghosts, influencing events through satellites and drones, but sometimes they suddenly make themselves known.

For example, in the course of the battle for Baba Amr (village near the city of Homs - SF) stepped in
Russian, giving the regime satellite imagery areas. At the same time, dozens of technical intelligence agents of the French and British special forces led by rebel forces in Homs - the same Baba Amr.

It is through this region in the first year of the war in Syria, especially in the central region, and 60%
of thrown weapons and fighters for the insurgency from abroad.

According to the assessment of Israeli and Western intelligence, this region - the most dangerous and most strategically important in the Middle East - in a confrontation axis of Iran-Syria-Israel axis against Saudi Arabia.

At the disposal of Israel and the U.S. were some of the reports. They estimate that up to 80% of heavy weapons passed the Syrians "Hezbollah", in particular, rockets, walked along the corridor. "In other words - this area is a very sensitive point, which allows control of their transfer along this corridor anything - from fighters to missiles.

Therefore, according to the British diplomat, the attention of all the regional intelligence focused on the
region between the Lebanese and Syrian border Baalbek. It was here that are warehouses and bases "Hezbollah".

Now all is clear, writes the "Al-Haqiqa>>, that the Sunni insurgents and the southern border with Syria, Jordan, and on the demarcation of the ceasefire line work closely with Israeli intelligence . What
for? She conducts them in terms of grazing with the Shia "Hezbollah." This is evidenced by the statement of one of the commanders of "Free Syrian Army" Khalid al-Habous. When he was last year proclaimed the "Battle of Liberation", the aim of which was to prevent the supply of arms Syria, "Hezbollah".

And that's why now "Hezbollah" without any hesitation was ready to take part in cleaning
it from hostile armed groups and the province itself and Homs, in particular, the areas adjacent to the Lebanese border.
But it is - "atruth" by a British citizen.
On the other hand, it looks different: it is about al-Quseir, as a strategic point linking the Syrian authorities with their union, "Hezbollah".

Control, which at one time set militants jihadists in the region, meant separation from Damascus, the
Lebanese territory in the area of

5 reasons Turkey will not go to war with Syria

1)
There's little support for it in Turkey

The
Syrian civil war has spilled over into Turkey on a number of
occasions - in addition to the recent bombings in Reyhanli, there
was a car bomb at a Turkish border crossing in February that killed
14; and last June Syria shot down a Turkish reconnaissance jet off
the Syrian coast.

However,
despite these seeming acts of aggression, there has been little
appetite among average Turks for an incursion into Syria, says Amir
Hassanpour, a retired professor of Mideast affairs at the University
of Toronto.

The
main reason for this, he says, is that Turks are tired of bloodshed.
Not only has Turkey recently come through a three-decade civil war of
its own with Kurdish rebels, which claimed 40,000 lives, it has also
witnessed at close hand the bloody, chaotic outcomes of the wars in
Afghanistan and Iraq.

"Public
opinion doesn't really like Turkish involvement in wars in the
region,"

2)
The Turkish leadership has domestic demands

The
other factor here is that Prime Minister Erdogan is preoccupied with
two equally pressing domestic issues -- forging a peace agreement
with the Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK) and reaching consensus on a
new constitution -- observes Reva Bhalla, vice-president of global
analysis for the Texas-based consultancy Stratfor.

Turkey's
30-year battle with Kurdish rebels, which are located largely in the
southeastern party of the country bordering Iraq, came to an end in
March when jailed PKK leader Abdullah Ocalan announced a truce.

Since
then, the Turkish government has been working to solidify the peace,
and part of that is enshrining rights for Kurds in a new
constitution.

"This
is a very sensitive political time for the ruling party, as Erdogan
is trying to cobble together a whole series of constitutional
revisions and at the same time negotiate a comprehensive peace deal
with the PKK - and those two issues are intertwined,"

3)
Military intervention could threaten a PKK peace deal

The
PKK has links to Kurdish populations not only in Turkey, but in
northern Iraq and northern Syria, areas where Turkish forces and
Kurdish rebels have clashed repeatedly in the last three decades.

While
Turkey still classifies the PKK as a terrorist organization, the
government is allowing PKK members, under the current peace
negotiations, to withdraw from Turkey to return to northern Iraq.

Bhalla
says that if Turkey were to jump into the fray in Syria, it would
likely galvanize Kurdish fighters living in northern Syria, and could
unravel the delicate peace that the two sides have managed to achieve
in recent months. Something the Turks do not want to see.

4)
Confrontation with Iran

"When
you talk about Syria, you are also talking automatically about Iran,"
says Raboudi.

Iran
and Syria have enjoyed a long-standing friendship, not least because
they both aim to counteract the influence of the U.S. and Israel in
the region.

Throughout
the current crisis, the Iranian leadership has supported Syria's
embattled Assad politically as well as militarily (often transporting
arms through Iraqi airspace).

The
Sunni-led government of Turkey has had reasonably good relations with
the Shia theocracy of Iran.

But
if Turkey were to intervene in Syria, Raboudi says it's possible that
it could spur Iran, one of the region's biggest powers, to become
more actively involved - and turn an already messy sectarian battle
into an even bloodier conflagration.

5)
The Americans are reluctant to fight

While
Turkey has an estimable army, Bhalla says the country would only act
militarily if the U.S. took the lead and provided the majority of
weaponry and tactical support.

"Turkey
is not going to intervene militarily in Syria on a meaningful scale
without the United States playing that primary role," says
Bhalla.

Despite
strong criticism of the Assad regime, the Obama administration has
been reluctant to commit to any kind of military force in Syria. One
reason is that U.S. intervention could ignite a war with Iran, says
Hassanpour. Plus, there's the unhappy legacy of recent U.S. wars in
the region, which weighs heavily on the American public.

"The
United States cannot engage in another war - it has already lost
the wars in Afghanistan and in Iraq," says Hassanpour.

Probert was considered the heavyweight Champ of the NHL during the majority of his career and perhaps the greatest ice fighter there ever was, Zettler on the other hand wasn't known as a fighter but he sure managed to piss off the wrong guy.

'If my son was a dog, I'd have him put down': Mother whose son suffers from ADHD says she is fed up of her daily, violent battles with him

A mother has described the torment of having a son with severe ADHD, admitting that if he were an animal, she would have him put down.

Jenny Young has four children aged 25, 23, 19 and 10 and astonishingly, not only have they all been diagnosed with the behavioural disorder, but she too was told she had it in her mid-forties.

But it is her youngest child Ryan, 10, who suffers with the most extreme symptoms of the condition as well as severe learning disabilities, subjecting Jenny to daily violent attacks.

She said that because she is his mother, and not a pet owner, she must put up with it.

Jenny explained that she is the main target of his frustration and that if Ryan, who has the mental age of a two-year-old, were her husband they would have divorced by now.

She added that people should not judge her for her comments until they have heard her story.

Jenny said that she used the example of putting a dog down because she has a member of the family who went through the traumatic experience of having their dog euthanised after they could not control its violence.

'It was a horrendous traumatic experience for the whole family. They worked really, really, hard and did everything they could possibly do for .

'They spent lots of money and put lots of effort in and ultimately they had the choice to have her put down.

'I don't liken Ryan and the dog exactly but there is a choice. When you have a dog that behaves and might attack you any minute, you have a choice.

'I wouldn't be without Ryan but that when you're the mother of a child like Ryan there is no choice. There isn't a refuge for battered mums - you have to get on with it.

Jenny made the startlingly frank comments on ITV's This Morning.

Her oldest son was diagnosed with ADHD when he was ten. Before then people excused his behaviour as 'just being a boy'.

Jenny said: 'It was a relief because he wasn't just being naughty.'

She then went on to recognise the same traits in her other children.

Jenny added that her late diagnosis of ADHD has helped her to relate to her children and ultimately to cope with her situation.

She said: 'If you've got an ADHD mind it's difficult to understand those who don't have an ADHD mind.'

But at times she says it has been very difficult to cope, especially when all four children were little.

Her first marriage broke down in the mid-Nineties but in 2002 she remarried.

Jenny, who had always wanted to be a mother, said she hadn't expected to have any more children.

She added that she knew that Ryan would have problems from very early on: 'You could tell from the scans that there would be something wrong, but we didn't know what. He was developing very slowly and was tiny.'

Ryan was delivered by Caesarean section at 38 weeks and weighed just 3lb 11oz when he was born. From then on he developed very slowly, both physically and mentally.

Due to the strain that Ryan's problems put on her marital relationship, Jenny's second marriage broke down in 2008 and the couple divorced.

Jenny said that she grieved for Ryan when he was diagnosed with ADHD and severe learning difficulties.

'You don't love your child any less but it's a bit like going on holiday and not arriving in the place you expected. It's a lovely place, but not what you expected.'

Jenny went on to explain that 99 per cent of the time Ryan is adorable but that for that one per cent of the time he is violent and unpredictable.

'And I think most parents would say same thing. There are two sides to him. The biggest problem is the unpredictability.

He can be gorgeous all day and then I can squat down to give him a cuddle and he might bite me or scratch me or knock my glasses off or scratch me or punch me.

'At least every day I get punched in the face.'

Jenny said that sounds tend to trigger Ryan's violent outbursts, with modem hand dryers being a main culprit. as well as simply changing activities causing him to become upset.

'Simply changing routine can cause him to become upset but sometimes it can be nothing,' she added.

Jenny, who once worked part-time in an office, but has since dedicated herself to working as Ryan's full-time carer, says she thinks about the future and says that Ryan's behaviour could go either way.

'Maybe he will learn to express himself better and maybe it will all get better. The worst fear is that he won't get better and he will be same size as me and do even more damage.'

Jenny went on to describe the lack of help provided for parents of children with ADHD and learning difficulties.

'Unfortunately professionals don't always believe you and it can be very difficult to get the level of support needed.

'When you're a mum and you tell them you've tried everything and you're at your wit's end, specialists tend to keep offering other things rather than giving level of support needed.'

'There is help but you have to fight for it and shout loud and even be seen crying.

'Schools and social workers can help but no one will come along and say to you "You look like you're having a difficult time - do you need some help?"'

Attention deficit hyperactivity disorder is a group of behavioural symptoms that include inattentiveness, hyperactivity and impulsiveness.'I want to get more help so we don't reach crisis point. More training, more respite and a residential placement later on. And I don't just want this for me. I am not alone. I know so many other mums who are at their wit's end. Luckily we have each other.'

ADHD can occur in people of any intellectual ability but many people with ADHD also have learning difficulties. They may also have additional problems such as sleep disorders.

Symptoms of ADHD tend to be first noticed at an early age, and may become more noticeable as a child grows up.

It is the most common behavioural disorder in the UK. It is estimated the condition affects 2-5% of school-aged children and young people.

ADHD can be a lifelong condition, and many children continue to have symptoms as a teenager and adult.

Young children are naturally active and easily distracted. However, if these features are excessive for a child's age and general developmental level, and affecting their daily life, they may indicate ADHD.

ADHD is normally diagnosed between the ages of three to seven, although in some cases it may not be until much later. It is more commonly diagnosed in boys.

The exact cause of ADHD is not known, although research shows that it tends to run in families. Studies have also shown that there may be differences in the way the brain works in people with ADHD.

There is no cure for ADHD, but it can be managed with appropriate educational support, advice and support for parents and the individual, and medication if necessary.

Living with a child with ADHD can be challenging but it is important to remember that they cannot help their behaviour.

'Syrian conflict is a war targeting Iran'

The rise of sectarian violence and recent Israeli bombing indicate that the true aim of the Syrian civil war is to weaken Iran's position in the region, Middle East expert Tariq Ali said in an interview with RT.

Hezbollah militants are fighting beside Syrian governmental troops to retake the strategic town of Qusair from the rebels. It's considered a key weapons smuggling route for opposition forces near the Lebanese border.

The battle for the city in the contested Homs Province is viewed by both sides as a turning point which could prove crucial in deciding the conflict.

Tariq Ali believes Hezbollah has joined the fight in order to protect the weapons smuggling routes of their own, those coming from neighboring Iran.

As for the Syrian people, Ali says the majority just wants the war in the country to end, no matter which side gets the upper hand.

Man with Metal Tube vs Man with Machete Street Fight

The long range weapon has a distinct advantage over the short range one, despite notoriously destructive blade. What good is a deadly blade if you can't get to your target without being first lethally clubbed over your head?

Video from Brazil shows a street fight between a man with a metal tube and a man with a machete. The man with the metal tube had support from another guy but that one didn't do much damage.

Between 0:14 and 0:17, the metal tube guy delivered a few bone crushing blows, effectively breaking the opponent's arm and shoulder, but his machete wielding arm was still OK. Realizing he was in deep shit, the machete guy tried to flee but the tube guy kept swinging and with one blow knocked the machete out of the hand of his opponent. The machete guy figured that without his machete he stood no chance and stopped to pick it up - that was his fatal mistake. Literally.

As he bent over to pick the machete up, the tube guy clubbed him over the head with the tube, a blow which proved fatal. Albeit effectively knocked out, the tube guy delivered one more hip crushing blow to the pelvis, but at that time, the machete guy was no longer a threat. As a matter of fact, he was no longer alive - or at least pretty close to it.

It was just another lazy afternoon in Brazil

Please also see Omert Humiliates America and Who Controls Hollywood and the Media? .Someone wrote and asked me, "Why are there Israeli- but not Mexican-American Dual Nationals?"

Well, here's my take on this. I'd also like your views and opinions. Before I begin I'd like to day something important. There is a new law -- the so-called "Hate Speech" law, that just passed the House and is expected to pass the Senate and become law very soon. It was originally designed to guard against discrimination of oppressed minorities but was soon recognized as a way for Israel to forever end any criticism of the state of Israel and Zionism. When it is law, this page, and many like it will be deleted from the internet as yet another mile marker of the infringement of truth and free speech by certain dual-nationals at the expense of true and patriotic Americans. Enough
said.

Unless we are Native American Indians, all Americans have their origins in some other country. Both of my parents were from England. They were proud to be "British" but they were most proud of achieving their American citizenship. Sure, we had pictures of the Queen and nick-nacks with the Union Jack on them. My mother even celebrated the traditional 4o'clock tea time and was good at making Yorkshire Pudding. In the late 60's my older brother served in the US Army and did his tour in Viet Nam. When it came down to "allegiance," we were all patriotic Americans.
Period.

The word "allegiance" means that we promise loyalty. It also carries with it the expectation that this loyalty will be exclusive and unrestrained. In the case of a declared war or real threat or conflict,
for example, our allegiance to America should preclude any other interest, be it another country or political ideology.

When they took their oath to become American citizens, my parents had to pledge their "allegiance" exclusively to America and renounce their allegiance to "any and all foreign governments." That included Great Britain, one of our strongest allies.

Before Viewzone asked me to research the meaning of "dual citizenship," I had never heard of the term. How could someone be a citizen of two countries at the same time? But I was just ignorant. Dual nationalities and citizenships are quite common.

From my internet research, I learned that in 1997, a French Canadian with a U.S. passport ran for mayor of Plattsburgh, N.Y. He argued that the incumbent spoke French too poorly to be running a city so close to Quebec. He lost. Also in 1997, a retired top American official for the U.S. EPA (Environmental Protection Agency) ran for president of Lithuania. He was inaugurated in February to a burst of fireworks!

In 1996, Dominicans from New York not only could vote in the Dominican Republic's presidential elections for the first time, they could vote for a fellow New Yorker. Multiple nationalities have become so commonplace that some analysts fear the trend is undermining the notion of nationhood, particularly in the place with the most diverse citizenry on Earth: the United States.

Debate over the issue intensified in the late 1990s, when Mexico joined the growing list of poor nations that say it's OK for their nationals to be citizens of the countries to which they have migrated. Under the law that took effect in 1998 Mexicans abroad -- most of them in the United
States -- will be able to retain Mexican citizenship even if they seek U.S. citizenship. And naturalized Americans of Mexican descent will be able to reclaim their original citizenship. The Mexican government stopped short, for now, of giving expatriates the right to vote.

Security Issues

Since citizenship carries with it a responsibility to be exclusively loyal to one country, the whole concept of dual citizenship and nationality raises questions about which of the dual citizenships have priority. This is extremely important when the two countries have opposing interests. It can be a deadly problem when a dual citizen is in a high position within our American government.

Can one imagine a Japanese citizen serving in the Pentagon during WWII? Or how about a citizen of the Soviet Union holding a cabinet position in the White House during the Cold War?

Today's conflicts are centered in the Middle East. America needs to balance foreign policies towards oil producing Arab nations with our goal being peace and stability in the region. This places a burdon on our government to be even-handed in our dealings with the Arab world and Israel. While the Iraq War was waged on lies about Weapons of Mass Destruction and revenge for 911, the real reason has emerged as a well designed global plan to improve the power and leverage of Israel. Added to this policy is yet another potential blow to American interests and security -- the impending War with Iran. This war will be waged for the security of Israel and will be paid for by the
blood of American soldiers and the hard-earned money of American citizens whose quality of life is inversely tied to the cost of petrolium.

Recently, in their much lauded paper, The Israel Lobby and U.S. Foreign Policy , Harvard professor, Stephen Walt, and University of Chicago professor, John Mearsheimer, focused attention on the strong Israeli lobby which has a powerful influence over American foreign policies (see BBC article ).
They detail the influence that this lobby has exerted, forming a series of international policies which can be viewed as in direct opposition to the interests and security of the American people. These acts and policies are more often than not carried out by US government appointees who hold powerful positions and who are dual American-Israeli citizens.
Since the policies they support are often exclusively beneficial to Israel, often to the detriment of America, it has been argued that their loyalties are misdirected.

A few classic examples can be cited here.

Jonathan Jay Pollard was an American-Israeli citizen who worked for the US government. He is well known because he stole more secrets from the U.S. than has any other spy in American history.
During his interrogation Pollard said he felt compelled to put the "interests of my state" ahead of his own. Although as a U.S. Navy counter-intelligence specialist he had a top-secret security clearance, by "my state" he meant the state of Israel.

Literally tens of thousands of Americans holding U.S. passports admit they feel a primary allegiance to the state of Israel. In many instances, these Americans vote in Israeli elections, wear Israeli uniforms and fight in Israeli wars. Many are actively engaged both in the confiscation of Palestinian lands and in the Israeli political system. Three examples come to mind:

One is Rabbi Meir Kahane , who founded the militant Jewish Defense
League in the U.S. in the 1960s, then emigrated to Israel where,
eventually, he was elected to the Knesset. Until he was shot and killed
at one of his U.S. fund-raising rallies in 1990, the Brooklyn-born rabbi
shuttled between Tel Aviv and New York, where he recruited militant
American Jews for his activities in Israel against Palestinians. He
claimed to be a "dual citizen" of America and Israel.

Another Jewish American, James Mahon from Alexandria, Virginia,
reportedly was on a secret mission to kill PLO Chairman Yasser Arafat
when he was shot in 1980 by an unknown assailant. When he was shot,
Mahon held an American M-16 in his hand and a U.S. passport in his pocket .

Then there was Alan Harry Goodman , an American Jew who left his
home in Baltimore, Maryland, flew to Israel and served in the Israeli
army. Then, on April 11, 1982, armed with an Uzi submachine gun, he
walked, alone, to Al-Aqsa, Jerusalem's most holy Islamic shrine, where
he opened fire, killing two Palestinians and wounding others. Both the
U.S. and Israeli governments played down the incident, as did the media.

Most recently, US Navy Petty Officer, Ariel J. Weinmann , while
serving at or near Bahrain, Mexico, and Austria, "with intent or reason
to believe it would be used to the injury of the United States or to the
advantage of a foreign nation (Israel), to communicate,
deliver or transmit classified CONFIDENTIAL and SECRET information
relating to the national defense, to a representative, officer, agent or
employee of a foreign government." Weinmann was apprehended on March 26
after being listed as "a deserter by his command," according to the US
Navy. The information he gathered was supplied to Israel.

Ben-Ami Kadish , a Connecticut-born U.S. dual citizen who worked
in New Jersey was arrested and charged with giving top secret nuclear
information and details about the US Patriot Missile to an Israeli agent
-- the same agent involved with the Jay Pollard case. The espionage
charges reportedly stem from acts committed in the 1980s. These
activities, like the ones with convicted spy Pollard, were immediately
denied by Israel (Pollard pleaded guilty in 1986). It is further
reported that Israeli officials instructed Kadish to lie to US
investigators. Kadish was scheduled to be arraigned on April 22, 2008 at
U.S. District Court in Manhattan.

A London shopkeeper protected his till against a gun-weilding robber by hitting him with a wooden stool. The thief, Sheldon Green, fired warning shots in an attempt to scare the owner, but he did not hand over the goods and instead defended himself with the seat. Green has been jailed after admitting nine similar offences which he says were to pay back drug debts.

this is what happens when the West doesn't help out a people, they seek assistance from some place else. And there are thousands of people willing to lay a hand in the fight against brutal dictator Bashar al-Assad. May his regime suffer enough losses that it forces him to make concessions.
