HPD Officer Driving Recklessly

I filmed this HPD officer on HWY 249 in Houston,Texas on 1/21/2013. The posted speed limit on this highway is 65 MPH. In the video you can see two units, a H.C.S.O. white dodge charger and a H.P.D. white dodge ram in the far left lane at the beginning of the video. Both officers where well in excess of the posted speed limit and pushing 100 MPH. I maintained a speed between 85-95 MPH throughout the majority of the video and as you can see, I did not gain any ground on the HPD unit. You can clearly see that there were no lights therefore no emergency. They believe they do not have to obey the traffic laws as we do and its about time this behavior stops.

On 5/17/2013 I missed an opportunity to record yet another officer on the same highway, driving on the shoulder during rush hour because he did not want to wait in traffic like everyone else. Once again, no lights, no emergency. There are officers on a daily basis hiding on the feeder road to the right of the HWY waiting to catch people doing exactly this and when they catch them they write them a big fat ticket.

There is not much we can do as citizens to stop this behavior, but the least we can do is record and expose the hypocrisy.
Thanks for watching!

He is full of contradictions and makes false accusation against Science in order to disprove Intelligent Designer (God).
Defending the IRS: MSNBC's Support Of Obama, Once An Asset, Now Puts Network In A Losing Position

by Joe Concha

"I do not believe what the IRS was reported to have been doing is an outrage. I believe that the IRS agents in this case did nothing wrong. Let me say it again, you won't hear it anywhere else: the IRS agents did nothing wrong. They were simply trying to enforce the law as the IRS has understood it since 1959." - Lawrence O'Donnell on the IRS.
"Conservatives still want to change the subject to the fake, ginned up scandal they've been pushing month after month." - Chris Hayes on Benghazi.

"So now they're (Republicans are) viewing an actual real world abuse of power scandal (the IRS Scandal), not as its own outrage, but as a means of supporting their preexisting witch hunt on Benghazi, which they really struggled to turn into a scandal in large part because they themselves cannot seem to settle on what the scandal even is. It's a cover-up. Just don't ask what's being covered up..." - Hayes on the IRS Scandal being used for political gain for Republicans on...Benghazi.

"Does this mean that the IRS is hereby forever neutered from doing what is, after all, the very important work of making sure that political fundraising groups are not making a laughingstock of the rules that are supposed to limit what they do? Will we ever really have an IRS doing that important work again, giving how badly they screwed up trying to do it over these past couple of years?" - Rachel Maddow on the IRS Scandal and its potential ramifications for the agency.

And so it goes at MSNBC. The formula worked in 2012 in turning Mitt Romney into Gordon Gekko while the network soared to its highest ratings ever. But that formula-part-attack Republicans, part-defend-the President at all costs-is a one-track record that the public-even some on the left-aren't buying. And when the choice is to join the GOP in holding the President accountable with the same passion they did when taking on Bush 43, the captains of MSNBC primetime appear to be prepared to go down with the ship...if it means embracing that horrific alternative.

If ratings (those slightly-important indicators that ultimately pay the bills and allow network people to keep their jobs and hosts to keep their shows on the air) Phil Griffin 's network has experienced arguably the worst six weeks of his tenure. If you recall, Griffin declared in March he would kick his friend Jeff Zucker's "ass" in the ratings, all while overtaking Fox News-which has been number one for over a decade-within the calendar year.

At the time I commended Griffin for thinking big, but also cautioned him to be wary of Zucker in his rearview mirror . At that time, CNN was plodding along in third or fourth place (depending on what was going on with Jodi Arias and HLN). But then Boston happened and many viewers-particularly casual ones-turned to CNN. And after the terrorists were killed and captured, respectively, a funny thing happened: Audiences mostly liked what they saw on CNN and stuck around.

The result? HLN and CNN leapfrogged MSNBC in April in total viewers and the all-important 25-54 demo.

No matter. All cable networks have a bad month when breaking news or events help steer some views away. With Boston in the past, May would be the month MSNBC would rebound when things returned to normal, whatever that is.

But like a 1-2-1 jab, four huge stories hit the fan.

Benghazi Rebooted.

Adios Arias.

Cleveland Captivity and the Charles Ramsey Show.

The IRS-Targeting-Conservative-Groups Scandal.

Arias and Cleveland kidnappings helped Turner Broadcasting's CNN and HLN continue its momentum of recent weeks. Arias, of course, is the (demented) gift that keeps on giving for HLN, while CNN wisely dedicated resources to LeBron's former home to cover the kidnapping story extensively. And of course, Fox might as well open a bureau in Benghazi in appreciation for all of the mileage that story has provided the network in a non-election year.

So the fourth place finishes have continued for MSNBC, which (as also noted in this space recently) is a network without a narrative during said non-election year.

In short, Phil Griffin 's network revolves around one thing: Politics. And that world just ain't that compelling unless there's ballot box somewhere in the near future.

MSNBC is also built on pointing out the hypocrisy and/or evil nature of the Republican Party and Fox News, two cornerstones of its content.

But now it is President Obama and his promise to be a completely transparent administration that is being gleefully exposed as hypocritical by the GOP and Fox.

If Nate Silver is the next Nostradamus, the President is already a lame-duck. Silver says Democrats have little chance to take back the house in 2014. No House control, no ability for a President-whose credibility has taken a toll over the past month for which it will be difficult to recover from-to advance anything grandiose in a second term.

In other words, the President is (to quote Tom Cruise in The Firm ): "...like a ship carrying a cargo that will never reach any port".

On the U.S.S. Obama is MSNBC. And in making a run at Fox and in an effort to distance itself from CNN, they simply rearranged the deck chairs by doing things like moving Chris Hayes from weekday mornings to primetime. The result has been nothing short of disastrous, as he now trails The O'Reilly Factor by a 7-to-1 margin while failing to get 500,000 viewers per night ( Keith Olbermann , conversely, routinely generated over 1.2 million viewers before being asked to leave).

The only hope, of course, is Hillary and the Clinton for President 2.0 2016 campaign. It was somehow the lead story on the Chris Matthews Show on Sunday. All complete with fat jokes about Chris Christie (lather, rinse, repeat) from the host, who ain't exactly Calista Flockhart himself...

Benghazi? IRS? AP phone records seized?

Nope...it's all about an election 42 months away.

Why?

Because it's a challenge to defend the President these days.

His party won't win in 2014.

He's already past tense, a lame duck.

What to do?

Either continue to defend entities like the IRS...

Or Lean Forward with Hillary to 2016.

Arabs, Leftists Jews mark Nakba Day at Tel Aviv University

Dozens of Arabs and left-wing Jewish students demonstrated at Tel Aviv University on Monday to mark the Nakba, or "the catastrophe" of Israel's inception in 1948. The students demanded that the "suffering" of the Arabs be recognized.

Dozens of right-wing activists from the Im Tirzu movement held a counter rally nearby and chanted "We won't lend a hand to hypocrisy."

"They are welcome to go to Syria." said one of them.

In light of last year's clashes, police formed a human barrier between the protesters.

Jihad Kial, one of the event's organizers, said the Arab student public "has an obligation to mark this day of mourning over the disaster we experienced in 1948. I wish to thank the university for cooperating and allowing us to hold the ceremony."
"I live two kilometers (1.24 miles) from the village from which my family was expelled in 1948, and to this day it cannot return to it. Just as we recognize the Jewish tragedy in Europe, we expect the public to recognize our suffering as well."

Dan Valfhish, a history student who also took part in the Nakba ceremony, said "you cannot exclude the term 'Nakba' from the Israeli discourse, particularly at the universities, because it is an inseparable part of the country's history and reality. If we want things to change here, we'll have to recognize the suffering of the other."

Knesset Member Michael Ben-Ari participated in the rightist rally, during which one activist yelled out "Kahane was right" - referring to ultra-nationalist political figure Meir Kahane, who was assassinated by an Egyptian-born American citizen in November 1990 following a speech to an audience of Jews in Manhattan.

Im Tirzu activist Lev Slodkin criticized Tel Aviv University for allowing the Nakba Day rally. "This institute receives funds from the State of Israel and pays salaries to anti-Zionist lecturers.
"We are here to protest against the lie known as Nakba and against the attempt to tarnish Israel's name and claim we committed war crimes," he said. "This ceremony is a display of hypocrisy. They are welcome to go to Syria."

Matan Peleg, another Im Tirtzu member, added that "the Arab students study in Tel Aviv, live in a democratic society and enjoy various rights - yet they incite against the State. The Nakba is a lie that is meant to hurt Israel, distort history and conceal the fact that the Arabs they are speaking of cooperated with the Nazis and waged a war against us - and lost."

America's War on Syria: Another Anti-Assad False Flag?

By Stephen Lendman ( Global Research )

http://www.globalresearch.ca/americas-war-on-syria-another-anti-assad-false-flag/5334919

Since early 2011, Obama's been waging proxy war on Syria.
Imported death squads masquerade as freedom fighters. The scheme's
familiar. It repeats. It reflects US imperialism's dark side.
In the 1980s, CIA-recruited Mujahideen fighters battled
Afghanistan's Soviet occupiers. Ronald Reagan called them "the moral
equivalent of our founding fathers." He characterized Contra killers the
same way.
Naked aggression is called humanitarian intervention. New wars follow
earlier ones. Ravaging humanity is called liberation. Propaganda
convinces people that America is threatened. Truth is turned on its
head.
Syria is Washington's latest target. Plans haven't gone as expected.
Ousting another government was supposed to be easy. US-enlisted
terrorists are no match against Syria's military superiority.
Implementing Plan B looms. It could come any time. Obama's heading
toward full-scale intervention. Pretexts are easy to create. Assad's
been falsely blamed for numerous insurgent massacres. Evidence showed he
had nothing to do with them.
More recently, he was unjustifiably accused of using chemical
weapons. Insurgents used them several times. A previous article said
Pentagon contractors trained them in their use. This is how imperial
America operates.
Another previous article discussed a US-hatched scheme. It cited a no longer available UK Daily Mail article, saying:

"Leaked emails have allegedly proved that
the White House gave the green light to a chemical weapons attack in
Syria that could be blamed on Assad's regime and in turn, spur
international military action in the devastated country."
"A report released on Monday contains an
email exchange between two senior officials at British-based contractor
Britam Defence where a scheme 'approved by Washington' is outlined
explaining that Qatar would fund rebel forces in Syria to use chemical
weapons."
"Barack Obama made it clear to Syrian
president Bashar al-Assad last month that the US would not tolerate
Syria using chemical weapons against its own people."
On Saturday, two car bombs exploded outside Reyhanli, Turkey's city
hall. Prime Minister Erdogan's heading for Washington later this week.
It wasn't coincidental that bombings killed and injured Turkish
citizens days before his arrival. It's red meat for him and Obama to
discuss.
Reyhanli's close to Syria's border. It's a hub for Syrian refugees and anti-Assad insurgents.

Dozens were killed. Many more were injured. Buildings were destroyed. Turkey's Deputy Prime Minister Bulent Arinc said:

"We know that the Syrian refugees have become a target of the Syrian regime. Reyhanli was not chosen by coincidence."

"Our thoughts are that their Mukhabarat
(Syrian intelligence) and armed organizations are the usual suspects in
planning and the carrying out of such devilish plans," he added.
Turkey will "do whatever is necessary" if Syria ordered the attack.

Hurriyet Daily News said:

"Officials confirm(ed) link with Syrian intelligence." Interior
Minister Muammer Guler and Deputy Prime Minister Besir Atalay were
cited.
Atalay said:

"We have to a great extent completed our work toward identifying the
assailants." How and what evidence corroborates it within hours of the
attack he didn't explain.
Legitimate forensic and other information gathering requires
considerable time and analysis. A rush to judgment raises obvious
questions.
Reports said Turkey began deploying large numbers of air and ground forces to Reyhanli. What follows remains to be seen.

In mid-February, a car bomb struck the Cilvegozu Turkish/Syrian
border crossing. At least eight died. Around 30 others were wounded.
Anti-Assad elements blamed Syria. No evidence proved it.
Turkey and Western allies blame "the usual suspects." It happens every time.

Following Saturday's bombings, a State Department press release said:

"The United States condemns today's car bombings and we stand with our ally, Turkey."

"This awful news strikes an especially personal note for all of us
given how closely we work in partnership with Turkey, and how many times
Turkey's been a vital interlocutor at the center of my work as
Secretary of State these last three months."
"Our thoughts are with the wounded and we extend our deepest condolences to the families of the victims."

The glaring hypocrisy requires no comment.

NATO Secretary-General Fogh Rasmussen and French Foreign Minister Laurent Fabius expressed "full solidarity" with Turkey.

Washington's Ankara embassy condemned the "murderous attack." A
statement said America "stands with the people and government of Turkey
to identify the perpetrators and bring them to justice."
It left no ambiguity who'll be blamed. The anti-Assad Syrian National Coalition suggested Assad's involvement. A statement said:

"The Coalition sees these heinous terrorist acts as an attempt to
take revenge on the Turkish people and punish them for their honorable
support for the Syrian people, including their welcoming of Syrian
refugees who have fled the regime's crimes in their villages and
cities."
"The Coalition views this attack as a desperate and failed attempt to sow discord between the two peoples."

Lebanon's Daily Star published an AP report. It said Syrian Information Minister Omran al-Zoubi denied Damascus' involvement in Saturday's bombings.

"(N)o one has the right to make false accusations," he said. (T)his is not the behavior of the Syrian government."

"The Turkish government should be held responsible for what happened.
It turned the border area into a center for international terrorism."
Erdogan "must step down. He must not build his glory on the blood of Turks and Syrians."

Assad has no death wish. It's inconceivable that he or other Syrian officials ordered the attack. Doing so would be madness.

Syria's fully involved internally. It's gone to great pains to avoid
direct foreign intervention. Attacking a neighboring country would
invite it. Responsibility lies with anti-Assad elements.
Perhaps Ankara planned and implemented the attack. Last October, an alleged Syrian mortar attack killed five Turkish nationals.

Yurt is a Turkish newspaper. At the time, it said Prime Minister
Erdogan acted on Washington's behalf. His government supplied Free
Syrian Army (FSA) elements with mortars.
The "bomber" used to launch them "is only used by NATO." They were fired from FSA-controlled territory.

False flags are commonly used. Washington prioritizes them. Turkey's complicit in plans to topple Assad.

Years earlier, Turkey's military hatched a plan to bomb internal
mosques, down one of its own warplanes, blame Greece, and destabilize
the newly-installed Islamist government.
America has a long history of false flags. So do other NATO allies and Israel.

On Saturday, Lebanon's Al-Manar television
said five rockets fired from inside Syria struck Lebanese territory.
They "landed in open areas of the Northern Beqaa region of Hermel. No
casualties have been reported."
"This was not the first time (anti-Assad) militiamen rockets passed Lebanon's northern borders to target residential areas."

Expect more incidents falsely blamed on Assad. Perhaps something
major is planned. Doing so builds a case for war. It's happening in
plain sight.
On May 12, Haaretz headlined "Turkey blames Syria for deadly twin blasts; Damascus rejects 'false accusations.' "

Nine arrests were made. They're Turkish citizens. Ankara claims
they're Assad loyalists. Turkey's Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu
blamed them for an early May attack. Dozens died in Banias, Syria.
Davutoglu blamed Syria for both incidents. It's clear where these
accusations are heading. Washington's orchestrating everything. Turkey
is its lead attack dog. It's part of Obama's scheme to topple Assad.
Libya 2.0 looms.
A Final Comment

Conflicting reports on whether Russia plans selling Syria
sophisticated air defense systems surfaced. Washington and Israel
expressed concern.
Kerry discussed it in Moscow. Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov
denied intentions to do so. S-300 launch systems and others were
mentioned. Lavrov added that Russia and Syria have weapons deals yet to
be completed.
Vladimir Putin said existing contracts will be honored. He and others added that weapons supplied are defensive.

Netanyahu's going to Moscow. He plans doing so soon. He'll urge Putin
against supplying Syria with launch systems able to take out invading
aircraft.
He's doing so in the context of Israel's recent attacks. Lebanon's
Daily Star suggested they were launched from inside Lebanese territory.
On May 11, Mossad-connected DEBKAfile (DF) headlined "Netanyahu to visit Putin in a bid to stop his S-300 missile sale to Syria."

It's a "last-ditched attempt" to call it off. DF claims doing so is "extremely slim."

"After Israel's (May 4 and 5 air strikes), nothing would now stop the S-300 deliveries."

Putin is "placing a severe constraint on Israel's operational freedom
by spreading an anti-air missile cover over the Syrian, Hizballah and
the Iranian Basij forces fighting for Bashar Assad."
"Since the chances of dissuading Putin to abandon this strategy are
just about nil, the best Netanyahu can hope for by his face-to-face with
the Russian president is a limited accord on ground rules for averting
an Israeli-Russian military clash in Syria."
Whether this suggests Russia will back Syria if US-led NATO
intervenes remains to be seen. It's in Moscow's interest to prevent
replacing its government a pro-Western one subservient to Washington.

Ultra-Orthodox Jews advised to emigrate from Israel in response to the state policy against them

Dozens of copies of a booklet calling on ultra-Orthodox Jews to emigrate from Israel were handed out last week near the main synagogue in Jerusalem's Mea Shearim neighborhood, on the backdrop of the battle between Israel's haredi and the other publics over the attempt to draft yeshiva students to the Israel Defense Forces and introduce core subjects into haredi schools' curriculum.

Although the booklet was written about 15 years ago by Rabbi Moshe Dov Beck of the extreme Eda Haredit faction, it was handed out once again this week in light of the haredi draft issue, which has reached the High Court of Justice.

The 50-page publication cites passages from the Holy Scriptures as proof of the obligation to "escape from under the Zionist regime and not go in to visit there."

The claim is based on the haredi perception which sees the establishment of the State as a revolt against God and the world's nations, which citizens will be punished for. Another reason for the grave punishment is that many in the country fail to observe mitzvot.

Beck also blasts what he refers to as the "hypocrisy" of extreme haredi factions, which protest against the State's authorities which they do not recognize, yet request permission to protest from the police and authorities.

He further writes that contrary to the common assumption, the radical factions do not believe in the possibility of living in peace with the Palestinians.

"When we investigate the spirit of rebellion and the use of weapons against the Palestinians, which is the essence of Zionism, have we heard a voice of protest against it?" he asks.

"And if we do hear a little from some of the protestors, they are the same ones who want to stone them and swallow them alive, and the vast majority of those who don't participate in the elections - they believe that we must deal with the Palestinians with an iron fist and not surrender to the nations."

Brilliant short film shows the hypocrisy of Obama and Clinton's words about the Arab uprisings in contrast to how the American government responds to peaceful protesters at home.

Compares the words on freedom and democracy relating to Syria, Egypt, Libya, Iran, and contrasts with treatment by NYPD and Boston police.

This video is meant to be a warning to our leaders

Including on-the-ground shots from Alex Mallis.

American Hypocrisy
This video portrays American Hypocrisy at it's finest.
Obama and Biden bashed Bush and Cheney for their unconstitutional war in Iraq.
Biden even says "the president has no constitutional power to take this country to war, and if he does I would move to impeach him."
Yet: Obama and Biden did the exact same thing on March 19th, 2011.
