A luge is a fast small sled, wich you can handle easily.
On this track (Berg"un, Switzerland), they are up to 70 km/h (45 mph) fast!

Wow, that's pretty cool! It's freezing your nose.

Germany's version of "America's Funniest Home Videos".
The German word "Schadenfreude" = Rejoice because of others misfurtune.
Rutschbahn Crash in Goldingen
Atzm"annig (used to be) known for being the home of Switzerland's finest and foremost toboggan run.
Before the wimps , cowards and sissies installed centrifugal brakes in the carts, preventing them from going 35 km/h.
It is in Switzerland, about an hours drive east of Zurich.
This film is from better days, when the slide could go fast. If you experienced those days, you'll be disappointed, if you visit Atzmaennig now.
Tell the staff your disappointment, if you enjoyed going fast.
Or better spray some WD40 or oil in the cylinder next to the right wheel. Don't worry, the original set of brakes, will still work, as they did in good old days. Here is an excerpt from a German TV show named "Pleiten Pech und Pannen", the European counterpart to "America's Funnies Home Videos".
