Israeli and Western intelligence services believe the Yakhont missiles, which have been sold by Russia to Syria in recent years, could be transferred to Hezbollah within days, the newspaper reported on its website Friday. At the same time, The New York Times reported Friday that the Yakhont missiles have already been delivered to Syria's armed forces. Israel has repeatedly reinforced, with words and actions, its stated red line: that it will not allow the transfer of "game-changing" weaponry to Islamic terror groups such as Hezbollah. Israel has also relayed messages that it is not seeking a confrontation with Syrian President Bashar al-Assad's forces, but will act against transfers of weaponry through his territory. Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's last-minute trip to Russia on Tuesday apparently did not change the Russians' intentions to also deliver the advanced S-300 anti-aircraft missile system to Syria. According to the Journal, U.S. officials believe that Russia is moving more quickly than previously thought to deliver S-300 surface-to-air defense systems to Syria. U.S. officials told the paper that the S-300 system, which is capable of shooting down guided missiles and could make it more risky for any warplanes to enter Syrian airspace, could leave Russia for Syrian port of Tartus by the end of May. Together, the S-300 anti-aircraft and anti-missile system, and the Yakhont anti-ship system, would pose a formidable threat to any outside intervention in Syria, based on the international Libya model. The anti-ship missiles would be a serious threat to the Israeli navy, as well as the facilities above Israel's newfound underwater gas reserves. The S-300 could threaten Israeli military and civilian aircraft flying Israeli airspace, and not just over Lebanese and Syrian airspace. The Wall Street Journal reported that Russia has sent a dozen or more warships to patrol waters near its naval base in Syria, a buildup that U.S. and European officials see as a newly aggressive stance meant partly to warn the West and Israel not to intervene in Syria's bloody civil war. Russia's expanded presence in the eastern Mediterranean, which began attracting U.S. officials' notice three months ago, represents one of its largest sustained naval deployments since the Cold War, according to the Journal. The paper reported that Russia currently has 11 ships in the eastern Mediterranean, organized into three taskforces, including destroyers, frigates, support vessels and intelligence-collecting ships. Another three-ship group of amphibious vessels is headed to the region. Russia's navy chief confirmed that warships from Russia's Pacific Fleet had entered the Mediterranean for the first time in decades, and that the taskforce might be reinforced with nuclear submarines, as the country starts building up a permanent fleet in the region. The group includes the destroyer Admiral Panteleyev, two amphibious warfare ships called Peresvet and Admiral Nevelskoi, and a tanker and a tugboat. "The taskforce has successfully passed through the Suez Canal and entered the Mediterranean. It is the first time in decades that Pacific Fleet warships have entered this region," Pacific Fleet spokesman Capt. 1st Rank Roman Martov told RIA. Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov meanwhile told Lebanese TV station al-Mayadeen on Thursday that Moscow had not backed down from its contract to supply S-300 systems to Syria. "We are not signing any new contracts, but we will complete the old ones, especially with regards to aerial defense systems," Lavrov said. In what could be perceived as a message to Israel, he said, "Those that aren't planning on acting aggressively against sovereign nations should not have any reason to fear this." The unofficial response from Israeli government officials to Lavrov's statements amounted to saying that actions will be the deciding factor and not declarations. A senior government official noted that the deal between Russia and Syria had been signed in 2010 and was delayed multiple times, despite numerous Russian statements that it would be carried out. "We relayed the message . Bringing weapons to Syria destabilizes the area and carries the risk of seeing them transferred to Hezbollah," a government official said. In a sign of the growing tension in the region, CIA Director John Brennan arrived in Israel Thursday and met with the top officials in Israel's defense establishment, with a central focus on the developments in Syria. It was Brennan's first trip to Israel since assuming his position two months ago. The CIA chief went straight into a meeting in Tel Aviv with Defense Minister Moshe Ya'alon, a senior Israeli official told AFP. Channel 10 TV said that Ya'alon reaffirmed during the talks that Israel "will not permit the transfer of weapons" from Syria to Hezbollah in Lebanon. According to local press reports, Brennan's visit is aimed at coordinating U.S. and Israeli positions over the escalating crisis in Syria, specifically as international diplomatic momentum between the U.S. and Russia gathers for a peaceful resolution to the crisis. Now Assad-whose impending demise was predicted by opponents both at home and abroad after rebels brought the war to Damascus and the commercial capital of Aleppo this summer-seems to be enjoying some unexpected momentum. On his visit to Washington this week, British Prime Minister David Cameron said that the idea of the rebels resolving the conflict by force "is not looking promising." Cameron and the Obama administration, meanwhile, have renewed calls for a diplomatic solution in Syria-showing that despite pressure to act on Assad's alleged use of chemical weapons, America and its allies "aren't going anywhere in a rush," says Shashank Joshi of the Royal United Services Institute in London. "This is the best month has had in a while," Joshi says. "Undoubtedly, we underestimated his resilience." But while Assad's recent success may show his staying power, analysts tracking the conflict say it also signals that he has scaled back his goals-from retaking full control of Syria to simply keeping the balance tilted his way in a brutal and drawn out war. Assad's forces have moved "from a counter-insurgency strategy to one that recognizes that they are in a civil war," says Joseph Holliday, a fellow at the Institute for the Study of War in Washington, DC and former U.S. Army intelligence officer. The shift would mean that Assad is abandoning his bid to crush the rebellion and concentrating instead on the war's vital fronts-which may have sparked the recent surge in tactical gains. "The regime just decided to stop contesting parts of the country," Holliday says. "What they're doing is saying we are going to focus our resources on areas that are strategically important to us." Assad may have the advantage in waging this type of war. While his military has been badly weakened, it still has the ability to control its strongholds-and to keep the rebels out-gunned. Assad's two main allies, Iran and the Lebanese militant group Hezbollah, have been keeping Assad well-supplied, with the latter reportedly sending fighters to critical areas like Homs and the former providing military trainers and arms. Assad has also reinforced his ranks with paramilitary groups. The rebels, on the other hand, remain hampered by internal divisions and unreliable support, which they piece together from private donors and allies such as Saudi Arabia and Qatar. "It's just not as consistent or as clear as what the regime is getting from Iran on a daily basis," Holliday says. "As this becomes a conflict of warring militias, the reality is that the regime and its militias are going to be the biggest ones out there for a very long time." Some analysts warn that as the war heads down this path, it will become more sectarian-fears that spiked after reports of mass killings by Assad forces earlier this month in the coastal province of Tartous. The victims were from the country's Sunni majority; Assad hails from the Alawite sect, an off-shoot of Shiite Islam that makes up 12 percent of Syria's population but forms the backbone of his support. Iran and Hezbollah, both Shiite, see Assad as a bulwark against Sunni influence. "He's now entering phase two of his campaign," says Michael Weiss, a Syria analyst and columnist with NOW Lebanon. "A conventional military campaign is being replaced by an Iranian-funded and trained sectarian militia, backed by Hezbollah." "This is the best month has had in a while." There are many areas of Syria, Weiss notes, that seem lost to Assad-such as Aleppo and the northwestern province of Idlib, which borders Turkey and has been a crucial rebel supply route. "The regime can't 'win' all of Syria," Weiss says. "But it can and will retake that vital corridor from Damascus to Homs to the coast to keep a supply-chain running between the capital and Lebanon, and to keep the ports and regional airports operational for resupplies from Russia and Iran." The Obama administration has argued that a political solution is the best way to end the conflict-and both America and Russia, which has backed Assad throughout the uprising, are putting their weight behind a peace conference to be held in Geneva next month. But Amr al-Azm, a professor at Shawnee State University in Ohio and former adviser to the Syrian government, says Assad seems intent on forging ahead-and may even be eyeing the presidential elections scheduled for next year. Shopkeeper Arsam Ali's main income came from selling cannabis from the business and using his premises to bag up cocaine, Bradford Crown Court heard. When PCSOs Jonathan Smith and Nicholas Whitcombe investigated the Baseline store, on Allerton Road, Bradford, late at night, 19-year-old Ali went for them with a mallet. His three accomplices overpowered the PCSOs and escaped with the substantial drugs stash. Sentencing Ali, of Chapel Lane, Allerton, today, the Recorder of Bradford, Judge Roger Thomas QC, praised the bravery of the officers who confronted the drugs gang in the small, dark shop. Judge Thomas said Ali had "quite blatantly" sought to minimise what he had done by saying he rented out his shop to unknown drug dealers that night. Although it could not be proved that Ali leased the premises on March 1 last year deliberately to use it as a drugs front, he was making lb100 a week from selling cannabis from it. On May 31, the PCSOs smelled cannabis from the shuttered shop after 11pm. They caught two men red-handed on the unlit premises with bags of cocaine. Ali and another man turned up and when one of the officers went to pick up a lb5,000 block of cocaine from behind the counter, Ali went for them both with the mallet. The three other men escaped after overpowering the officers in a violent struggle that spilled on to the street. Judge Thomas said Ali was trying to protect "a substantial amount of cocaine" that was never recovered. The officers described the weight of the drugs as like two bags of sugar. One of them, PCSO Smith, said Ali took a hammer or mallet from behind the shop counter and swung it at him. The other three men then threw punches at the officers who were trying to block their escape. Notice that the red spot is not at the centre of the skull (which is the center of gravity for the skull). The head structure seems to be "too high" and the forehead "too wide" in comparison with the middle point. This to me simply means that our head is not efficiently supported by our neck muscle. Think of it as we are balancing a "bowling ball" on our neck. If you were to put this "bowling ball" on a monkey's neck, in the long term, it too will stand up straight in order to balance this "ball" effieciently. That's what I think. If you look at women, some of them have thinner neck muscle which will contribute to osteoporosis. Although for men, the curve on a women's body seems very attractive but this occur in order to balance their head, which to me is very unhealthy for the spine. The center of gravity is low compared to the human skull which allows it to easily control its head without much effort. So if you think logically, due to earth's gravity, there is no way that evolution will cause the skull to increase in height and eventually became what human skull is right now. That would be like anti-gravity. So here's the billion dollars question: Where did human beings came from? Certainly not from this planet. If so then someone or something must had done something to altered the biological system inside the human body. Some of you may say that this is rubbish and that you can move your head without any problem. In order to move a muscle, we need energy. Energy comes from our blood which contains glucose from what we eat and oxygen through our breathing. Let me give you an example; as you are looking at your computer screen for a period of time you will get tired. This is because you are simply not breathing in enough oxygen to allow your neck to support your head. Do you like to eat while you are using the computer? Now you know. This is also the reason you will find that most people tend to move their head (up, down, left, right) when they are talking. Have you ever notice that? I believe this is because our heart is trying accommodate with the lifting of our head along with our breatihng. When we look down, we feel relax because our heart don't have to work as hard to lift our head and we cn breath easier. This is also the reason why some people seem to be more confident than others, while others feel nervous all the time. A confident person just has a stronger neck muscle or the center gravity of their skull is more balanced thus allowing them to move their head easier than other people without affecting their breathing. It's that simple. Now, some of you may ask what significant does all these have to do with you? My answer to this question is "EVERYTHING". I am confident that it is this defect that have made human weaker in terms of physical and mental. These include our eyes, ears, mouth, and most importantly our spinal cord. Now, what will happen if this stretch continues? For our eyes: Illnesses such as far sighted or near sighted, glaucoma, or in a more severe case - retina tear. For our ears, the ear drum will be stretched and weak in hearing will occur. For our mouth: Ulcer, gum disease(some may find that their gum bleed easily), sensitive teeth, and tonsillitis, just to name a few. Not only that, when the part of the brain which is responsbile for controlling certain organ in the body was compressed, for instance the liver. This will cause the liver to not function efficiently. Thus, cancer may start to develope. I also believe that cholesterol is responsible for repairing our nervous system. As our skull do more damages to our brain and nervous system, more cholesterol is needed. This is why some people have high level of cholesterol in their blood. However, high level of cholesterol can sometimes lead to high blood pressure. But if that person reduces his or her cholesterol level too much, that person may not have enough cholesterol to repair the nervous system. This may lead to pain, fever or even more serious nerves problem such as seizure. To the brain itself, due to the pressure and stretching inside the skull, I strongly believe that brain cells will start to die off resulting in memory loss or Parkinson's disease in severe cases. Some people may experience headache, fever or even apnea (sleeping disorder). Between the membrane of the brain and the inner skull, friction will also occur. As a result it will cause some minor tissue tear. But because there are no nerves on our brain's membrane which detect pain, what we will feel is warmness and sometimes fever. Also, don't forget that the outer layer of the skull is of course our skin which involves blood arteries and veins. Due to the stretching by the neck muscle, the skin on our forehead will get thinner, resulting in blocking of blood supply which leads to baldness in the beginning and sometimes headache will occur. On the third picture, you can see that due to the "nature" of our skull structure, our face are being stretched, causing the face pores and muscles to be tighten and eventually resulting in condition such as acne and deviated septum. This is also directly responsible for certain facial expression on our face. It is this stretch and pull of muscles which result in us having different faces. Most importantly, this stretch will result in poor blood circulation through out the human body. Therefore, by constantly massaging the scalp and face area, it will improve the blood circulation and may prevent certain diseases like heart attack. Due to this heavy skull of ours, our body will tense up even if you don't realize it. The nerves from our brain to our spinal cord will be stretched. Our breathing is significantly affected by this condition. This have prevented us from breathing properly as you can see from the picture below. This has caused our organs to degenerate faster and causing illneses such as diabetes, cancers, heart disease, kidney failure and etc. This is even directly causing mental illness to some. Many allergic such as asthma and sensitive skin can be prevented if proper breathing technique is practice at the early stage. "We are going to saturate the market so that our people calm down." Finance Minister Nelson Merentes said the government was also addressing the lack of foreign currency, which has resulted in the suspension of foreign supplies of raw materials, equipment and spare parts to Venezuelan companies, disrupting their production. "We are making progress ... we have to work very hard," Mr Merentes told reporters. Many factories operate at half capacity because the currency controls make it hard for them to pay for imported parts and materials. Business leaders say some companies verge on bankruptcy because they cannot extend lines of credit with foreign suppliers. Mr Merentes said the government had met the US dollar requests of some 1500 small- and medium-sized companies facing supply problems, and was reviewing requests from a similar number of larger companies. Mr Chavez imposed currency controls a decade ago trying to stem capital flight as his government expropriated large land parcels and dozens of businesses.
