Pat - I am hoping for a response to the Archbishop
of Westminster's recent comments. I thoroughly
enjoy your eloquent wit and the seemingly endless
stream of silver-tongued soundbites brighten every
intelligent skeptic's day. My thanks, from

I'm a huge fan of Pat's. My channel was inspired
by the upcoming 'Is Pat Condell Gay?' Biography. In
the book the author covers Pat's early years-
including his father's gambling addiction and
Pat's struggles with what he refers to as a
"lack of testicular fortitude". Finally,
after all this time, Pat is being recognized as
Liveleak's number 1 gay Icon, the book will help
to end the unjust wait.

"Religionists do not understand logical
argument. They are irrational - at least when it
comes to their religion. They don't understand
that the burden of proof for their claims is
theirs. You do not have to DISprove anything. They
must make a case.
Of course, that's not a new argument. He didn't
come up with it. He's a mouthpiece - a
parrot."
I'm sorry that Nascent feels the need to (attempt)
to stifle reasonable, polite debate by resorting
to sophistry, spurious rationale, and ad hominem
attacks- though it is characteristic of the
'militant atheist', the best way to describe them
would probably be along the lines of an atheist
equivalent of a Wahabbist in Islam. He appears to
be of the same militant ilk which constantly and
unequivocally declare there to be no G-d. Militant
atheism is making a clear assertion- the burden of
proof is equally incumbent upon all atheists.
Militant Atheism will not be permitted to set
duplicitous standards.
I should made it clear to rational, moderate
readers, that my style of commenting can give the
impression that I'm being aggressive. The comment
I just typed was not intended to be so. I'm simply
making it clear that if we are to find any truth
in what eachother (believers and non-believers)
has to say, we need to stop using tactics which
endeavour to muzzle one party or the other, and
which seek to invalidate a point of view through
an ill-balanced set of criteria and demands. I
just thought it was wise to clear that up and try
to set a new tone. I will continue to defend the
right to freedom of speech, even in the face of
such fanatical, aggressive individuals as Nascent.
Thank you for taking the time to read. - Josiah.

Pat,
Thank you for so eloquently putting to video so
many of the same things I have been saying for
years. You are a breath of fresh air in the
stinking cesspool of irrationality that holds us
all hostage. I long for a utopia where thinking
rationally was "the norm" instead of,
sadly, being the aberration that it is.
Please keep making your exceptional videos!
For being a supposed atheist, you sure spend an
enormous amount of time pontificating about
something you supposedly don't believe in. Your
nickname should be Simon Peter.

You speak nothing but the truth. Everything you
said about America, religion, and our politics is
very true.
Religion is the opium of the masses.

Thank you for your interesting videos.
I enjoyed watching them.
But I was a little dissapointed when you talked
about your beliefs. You were only talking about
your belief concerning religeon.
I was hoping to hear something more positive and
personal.
Still, keep up the good work.

Pat, in one of your rants (Hello angry
Christians), you sarcastically ask What would
Jesus do?
The entire premise of "WWJD?" is
entirely wrong. The rest of Yahshua's mission
aside; Yahshua was a teacher of pure Torah, a
Rabbi. Doesn't logic dictate that teachers should
be judged purely by their teachings? we shouldn't
speculate about "WWJD?", we should ask
"What did Yahshua teach?". There is
nothing at all in any of the teachings of Yah'shua
that would forbid a believer from verbally and
physically attacking you if need be [In defense of
the faith etc]. On that note we can proceed...
Luke 22:36-38. "If you don't have a sword,
sell your cloak and buy one." Yah'shua warned
his disciples of perilous times to come and to get
ready to defend themselves.
·
John 2:15. "So he made a whip out of cords,
and drove all from the temple area...."
Yah'shua violently drove the money changers from
the outer court of the Temple. The Greek language
implies that he used the whip on the money
changers as well as on the sheep and oxen.
Physical force can be applied with justice. So no
problem there...
Matthew 23:23 "Woe to you, scribes and
Pharisees, hypocrites! For you pay tithe of mint
and anise and cummin, and have neglected the
weightier matters of the law {Torah}: justice and
mercy and faith. These you ought to have done,
without leaving the others undone. 24 Blind
guides, who strain out a gnat and swallow a camel!
25 "Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees,
hypocrites! For you cleanse the outside of the cup
and dish, but inside they are full of extortion
and self-indulgence. 26 Blind Pharisee, first
cleanse the inside of the cup and dish, that the
outside of them may be clean also. (continued...)
27 "Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees,
hypocrites! For you are like whitewashed tombs
which indeed appear beautiful outwardly, but
inside are full of dead men's bones and all
uncleanness. 28 Even so you also outwardly appear
righteous to men, but inside you are full of
hypocrisy and lawlessness {Torah violation}.
So no problem with verbal attacks and vehement
denunciations either.
Matthew 23:32 Fill up, then, the measure of your
fathers' guilt. 33 Serpents, brood of vipers! How
can you escape the condemnation of hell? 34
Therefore, indeed, I send you prophets, wise men,
and scribes: some of them you will kill and
crucify, and some of them you will scourge in your
synagogues and persecute from city to city, 35
that on you may come all the righteous blood shed
on the earth, from the blood of righteous Abel to
the blood of Zechariah, son of Berechiah, whom you
murdered between the temple and the altar. 36
Assuredly, I say to you, all these things will
come upon this generation.
So no problem with threats. I think I've
adequately made my point.

An excellent contribution towards advancing our
restricted lives out of the doldrums of
mass-produced religious indoctrination into a
celebration and call to arms for the importance of
the individual and choice. However, I don't think
we will ever see the end of pernicious religion;
it is too deeply ingrained in everyday life. It
makes me sad that so many peoples' lives will be
squandered by religious adherence. But I marvel at
the fact that I am not one of them!
