  • i send for pat a message on YT asking him to upload his new videos here as well. his response was:
"Thanks for the message. I've decided not to upload any more videos to LiveLeak because of the Google ads, which I think are too intrusive."

  • Quoted comment by Yoshiyahu: "Condell illustrated that he is an uneducated fraud, with no knowledge of scriptural and cultural semantics and will desperately seek anything, no matter how discredited, in his attempts to offend and provoke; and, indeed, to project and rationalize his own perversities. He doesn't speak from the heart, he doesn't have one. I'm working on video responses to all of Condell's rants, in which I shall continue to expose him as a Pseudointellectual, an unlearned impostor. However, I will refute this particular work of sophistry for starters...

Now as I have already stated: The entire premise of Condell's video rant is ludicrous! He uses a forged version of a Gospel and then proceeds to make wild and unfounded claims about Yah'shua (Jesus of nazareth). He then attempts to use a couple of verses from the actual Gospel of Mark and, in the style of Atheist sophistry; ask the repugnantly out of context, bogus question "Was Jesus gay". So let's take a minute to dissect this aspect of Condell's sophistry, then go from there...

The 'Secret' Gospel of Mark is one of the heretical, so-called "Gnostic Gospels" which date from at least 200 years after Yahshua's time on earth. The particular "Gnostic Gospel" in question is little more than 3 pieces of paper which fell out from the Mar Saba letter found in 1958 which most scholars attributed to be the work of Clement of Alexandria - these scholars include the letter's discoverer, Morton Smith. He (Smith) had found them transcribed into the endpapers of a 17th century printed edition of Ignatius.

The main point of interest in my rebuttal to Condell, is that Morton insists "Secret Mark" does not include the verbiage "naked male with naked male." Morton Smith was a published author, and professor of ancient history at Columbia University, the type of scholar which the blazing eyed fanatical G-D hater, named Condell, so sorely wishes himself to be- a genuine academic. Morton received bachelor's degrees from Harvard College and the Harvard Divinity School, a Ph.D. from Hebrew University in Jerusalem and a Ph.D. in theology from Harvard Divinity School . He taught at Brown University and Drew University and then he became a teacher at Columbia University in 1957. He became professor emeritus in 1985 and continued as a lecturer in religion until 1990. So we have fully established that Morton is a far more qualified and reputable authority on the subject than Pat could ever claim to be.

Now whilst I do not believe that the "Secret Gospel" is Smith's own work, it is certainly a forgery. Scholars Philip Jenkins, Robert M. Price and Scott G. Brown noticed parallels between The Secret Gospel of Mark and a novel by James Hunter published in 1940 entitled The Mystery of Mar Saba. As of 2007 there exists at least three books in print illustrating it's forgery: Stephen C. Carlson's The Gospel Hoax, Scott G. Brown's Mark's Other Gospel, and Peter Jeffery's The Secret Gospel of Mark Unveiled, Yale University Press.

Ultimately, the majority of scholars have realized that Smith's finding was not such a big deal, as all that is implied, is that the Carpocratians indulged in homosexual relations, and this was already widely believed by scholars. It also offers nothing in support of Condell, as these existed over 70 years after Yah'shua. The Carpocratians' fellow Gnostics were nothing new. Even within the space of 70 years after Yah'shua, the Nicolaitans were recorded as the earliest Gnostics in scripture (approximately 99 C.E). However, it obviously didn't involve Yah'shua by any stretch of Condell's corrupt imagination, as Yah'shua had left this world around 66 years previous to their emergence; and it clearly wasn't supported by his teachings (as I will proceed to show why); and it obviously wasn't supported by his disciples (As will be made clearer as we proceed). So why is Condell trying to 'cook-the-books'? hmm, anyway...

In the Book of Revelation, Jochanan relays the account of Yah'shua appearing to him whilst he is exiled on the Island of Patmos. In this account Yah'shua makes it clear to Jochanan how he feels about the Gnostics bringing the way of truth into disrepute: Revelation 2:15 "So thou also hast them that hold the doctrine of the Nicolaitans, which thing I hate". Now from an atheist's perspective Yah'shua didn't appear to Jochanan, but this is besides the point. It's besides the point because (at the very least) it gives us an insight into the mind of a man (Jochanan) who knew Yah'shua personally (he states so), and shows us what he thinks of the Gnostics; he "Hates" them. So evidently a man with these thoughts would not have followed a Rabbi (Yah'shua in this case) if he had supported such heretical views and practices. I'll cited more examples as I proceed.

For the moment, let's reflect upon the FACT that even the scholar (Morton Smith) who discovered the Secret Gospel of Mark, states uncategorically that it DOES NOT include the verbiage "naked male with naked male." This was the foundation of Condell's rant, he has already fallen! Though I shall continue to bury him..."

  • Yoshi,

The question you really need to have answered is, "If Jesus was gay and alive today, would he be getting married in California?"

He could even give a sermon at the Folsom Street Fair in San Fransicko about men lying with men to the lesbian crowds....

Not sure if Condell can help us on that???
