I spent glorious periods of time-off there. a fantastic place that people from the west should see for themselves. The lush vegetation on the sides of the mountains and the morning clouds rolling down the slopes of the Elborz are just magical! Great stuff rangestorm.

    well all my family is there, im just here with parents and siblings.

    i think the best thing to do is keep an open mind to all the news coming out and keep supporting the movement.

    this has gone from a movement 'to get votes back' to a civil rights movement to get 'islam' out of the republic, as the people have been shouting in the streets. my family tell us that people are more active than before but the active members of the movement are mostly students (all the way down to elementary). i think this movement cannot win in the short run but if it continues, it will be the kids in elementary which will change this government.

    just imagine, if you are beaten today and family is murdered and jailed, what will you teach your children about the government/establishment? will you teach them good or bad? love or hate? of course you will teach your children to grow up hating the government, and one day they will take over the country, thats what happened in 1979.
