Warren Id like if you checked out some info on military rape and maybe made video on it, Ive read some material and few videos on youtube about and was shocked, the militarys own statistic for the US military 1/3 women are raped and this figure is far higher in iraq, active duty bases and afghanistan, there is rule in iraq and afghanistan that serving women are not allowed outside their barracks without acompanied by an officer and do not get same brake times as men due to the endemic rape, can you believe it

First off I want to respectfully tell you that as a debater; you know we all cannot agree with one another about everything, everyone always has that special someone who disagrees with what you have to say and not just you but myself as well as everyone else...

However, you are "spot on" and I do agree with you on your political views in regards to immigration. I like how you make the time and effort to put yourself in the other persons shoes and recognize the pain, suffering and struggle of what its like to make something out of nothing! These immigrants come with nothing, work for dimes on the dollar and to make it worse they endure all the racial bullsh*t!
I strongly agree that immigrants would come here legally if the pathway to citizenship was easier. The requirements to citizenship are outrageously ridiculous! The costs are through the roof for an immigrant, the applications are as thick as a book, the background checks are overly fierce and the wait for qualification is an eternity! Im not saying open the borders and let everyone in, what Im saying is simply make the pathway to citizenship a little easier!
Besides.... legal or not, I think some Americans would still discrminate no matter what their status may be because theyr'e not going to stop and ask the immigrant if he/she is legal or not!?!? Racist people are going to throw their moronic rants and raves generalizing these people down to "Mexican criminals"
Mexican people are hardworking, honest, humble and sincere people! Its too bad that some people in America take the actions of a few criminals and generalize the whole Mexican culture into whatever negativity they want.
If the US really had a problem with illegal immigration they would target "all" illegals including europeans, africans, asians, hindus, russians, middle easterners etc..... that come in with temporary visas but dont leave the US when their visas expire! last time I checked... That was illegal! Which makes them illegal immigrants as well! But Noooooooo.... How about we just target the illegal Mexicans and pretend they are the only illegal immigrants that ever walked on American soil! I have brought this debate to many people who are against immigration and till this day not one has came foward and gave me a good rebuddle!
Many agree that it all boils down to people just looking for a reason or excuse to exercise racism towards illegal Mexican immigrants! Alot of people either deny or do not like to admit that they are racist, but many come to realization that they are!
"I" (and Im sure most Mexicans) would respect people more if they said, "I dont like Mexicans and I am racist towards them" (because at that point we would know where we stand with those certain individuals)instead of denying it and being civilized in our face, but when we turn our backs they are throwing racial daggers at us!!?!? I find it extremely hard to respect people like that!
Its people like you that still give me hope that this planet has not become an utter sh*thole and that theres still a chance that maybe someday people may see eachother as equal human beings!
Cheers! Be strong! Stand tall for what you believe and dont let anyone change your mind about your compassion for immigrants! We both know they are good people and they contribute alot to the US economy and I truly believe that without immigrants the US economy will have alot of problems.
