  • Not big enough to kill them , but it plays with the mind . You're not safe on the road , that one might have killed you , the next one might . For a professional soldier thats a given , for a conscript , its' nerve shattering .

    • @ComradeAgopian There's no aftermath in the video, it's possible that there are dead or wounded soldiers and that the BMP caught on fire in the next few seconds. These things are death traps and catch on fire easily.

You can see a soldier jumping out of the BMP, no one would expose himself to enemy fire this way without a very good reason.

  • Was quite effective that IED.

Might not have had the power in it but and unstrapped passengers woulda hit the roof. Moments of terror and fear when you're in potentially 'your coffin' are moments where SAA conscripts are thinking 'Why the fuck are we doing this!?'

    • @Reggie_P75 I doubt they don't know what they are fighting for. But listening to western media, you'd think they all would like join FSA and become islamists. Wonder why it doesn't happen?

...because then the Assad loyalists will seek out the family of the deserters to
      a) punish
      b) detain
      c) kill
      them. Take your pick.

    • @AwesomeCunt not more Islamist, more religious. Thus, all the allahu akbars.

War has a tendency to make people more religious or superstitious....for the time being.

    • @KingSize0 Indeed it does. War brings forth extremists. We can only hope they all die in this war.

    • @junkers Army ruled by that way would have zero morale. Yet SAA guys are always cheerful and with high spirits. Maybe things in Syria are not as we are told in our media, ever wonder that?

  • wonder if it penetrated. it doesnt have to penetrate, just cost money, or perhaps convince conscripts to go AWOL/defect

  • Everyone in that coffin on wheels probably died from internal organ failure/rupture and brain injury from the pressure wave if nothing else. . . .including the guy who managed to scramble out of the top

  • Are those hatches that flew open for crew? Because i could see some pressure injuries going on too here if so

  • Damn, they squandered a great opportunity to place a big-ass IED and take out a tank, instead they just disabled a thinly-armored BMP

    • @TimBuckTwo Judging by the video proof posted every day the SAA are getting destroyed by the FSA. Go ahead, you can cry. I'll hold you.

    • @TimBuckTwo what a sad attempt to validate an evil regime that you don't even live under. If you were Syrian i could at least excuse it with excessive brainwashing or something like that, but you dont have that excuse.
