GOP Rep. Allen West speaking to the 2011 gathering of the “Faith and Freedom Coalition.” West talked about America’s founding principles, and the movement today to destroy the foundation on which America was founded. He warned against those whose goal is to turn America into an entirely secular state – denying the Judeo-Christian foundation of the nation. West quoted numerous Founding Fathers who stated that the Constitution was intended to govern a “moral and religious” people.
