A mother was arrested twice on the same day for drunk driving and police say she had her four-year-old daughter in the car the second time.
Ann Marie Abdullin, 23, from Salisbury, Maryland, was arrested on Tuesday at 4.30am for traffic violations.Police say she was impaired by alcohol.They then learned that she had been arrested just three hours earlier on a DUI and released to a sober driver.The sober driver then took her to her car and allowed her to drive away.
Abdullin is charged with driving while impaired, driving under the influence, operating a motor vehicle within 12 hours of being arrested for DUI and other traffic offences.
Police say charges also are pending against the driver who took Abdullin back to her car and let her drive away after her first arrest.
She was ordered held in the Wicomico County Detention Center after she refused to take a second breath test.
