  • Orlando has an ordinance that requires any organization (Food Not Bombs)who wants to offer public "food services" for a crowd over 25 people obtain a permit. The reason for the permit: to know of the operation and to inspect the operational standards (food poisoning, ect...). The shitty part of the deal is that Orlando puts restrictions on how many permits any one organization can get per year for any given location. The restriction is '2 permits per year at any given park location', w More..

  • This is exactly why cops are not respected.

  • This country really sucks sometimes. Unbelievable.

Does anybody really believe these cops, or any American cops, would hesitate to fire on unarmed citizens in say, a demonstration, if told to?

  • In upside down America, donating things is illegal, everything has to be paid to jewish bankers. You want to feed a homeless? Send a cheque to israel in before.

  • The government takes it personal when you compete with it... social programs versus charity... Can't tax charity.

  • Do you can't give your friend a sandwich ? Feed your kid?

I'll look this up, see what the actual law is... fucking country sucks.

    • @Phil_Mahoal Calm down, you panicky emotional creature. You are allowed to give food to you friend or child. Go try it out tomorrow. However, if you dole out food under the auspice of a not-for-profit organization, the rules are different. The law is designed to prevent someone from distributing sub-standard food to an open public.

And if you think this country sucks, please choose any other country and move there.

  • Why don't those protesters go yell at the politicians who passed whatever stupid bylaw that makes that feeding illegal? Those cops are just doing what they have been ordered to do. It's useless to yell at them.

  • Obvliously there is more to this story than feeding homeless people. These libtards wanted to create a scene and that's exactly what happened.

Did some more reading, apparantly the food sharing ordinance was enacted because these "gatherings" resulted in garbage being left behind, people urinating in public, and concerns about crime. If you lived or had a business in the area you wouldn't want to have to put up with that shit either.

    • @ShortOrderCook So its business before poor people?Isn't that exactly why you country is a shit hole?

    • @smallpox

Businesses AND residents you dumb skippy. If I was taking my kid to the park there I wouldn't want to have to look at people pissing all over the place and garbage being thrown around either. They paid the taxes to support the park, they deserve to enjoy it. There are plenty of food programs available to the poor, nobodys starving. These libtards are mainly there to push their"Food not bombs" agenda.

My country shits all over aussieland faggot.

  • they are trying to denture the sociological drop outs, feeding them, much like a stray dog just reenforces the mentality for them to rely on others for support rather than helping themselves.

There are homeless shelters for a reason, public parks are not homeless shelters, people dont want to see cracked out homeless drug addicts while they take their children to the park.
