@mongoose It's a shame the truck didn't hold out since he landed it well. That was a great jump! I read that they had to weigh down the General Lee in the trunk for each jump so it wouldn't nose dive.

I drive them for work sometimes and they are absolute shit to drive if you are not off-road too.

I would love a 150-200hp inline 4 Toyota turbo diesel with a 6 speed manual trans.. Light-weight, 30-35 mpg, polymer body panels, $20K sticker... Just dreaming though.

I did that in a 85 Chevy C20 about ten years ago. Bent my a arms and broke an engine mount. Not to bad considering.

@TEX No I had a harness in it, but I did fuck my back up good. Bottomed out the suspension and left a huge tear in the dirt from the crossmember. I was lucky I didn't taco the damn thing.

Well at least now they know the airbags work, the emergency lights go on automaticly too, and the suspension did actually hold. Sure, there's "some repair" to be done but that's just a minor detail. New frame, new airbags, new suspension, new driver...
