Scientists And Researchers From Hong Kong And Turkey Claim To Have Found Noah's Ark.

A team of scientists and researchers from Hong Kong and Turkey claimed to have discovered the remains of Noah's Ark on top of Mount Ararat in Turkey. In the summer of 2007, the fourth expedition to Mount Ararat yielded results. Inside a cave on the mountain they discovered a wooden structure measuring 11.5 meters in width and 2.6 meters in height. The findings are not only a significant breakthrough in the search for the remains of the Ark but is also backed by filmed documentation and material evidence.01/22/08

  • ...again!? Didn't they discover this same stuff back in the 70's!? I would be very interested to see this "filmed documentation and material evidence".
If anyone finds some, link it.

  • Hmm, Noah's Ark, yeah right.

Most stories from the Bible (Old Testament) are tellings done by people most often 100s of years or 1000s of years after things happened. A we all know a story changes from person to person.

The story of Noah's Ark was not originally from the Bible, similar stories existed long before that. The story was modified by the Jews living in Babylonia (if I can remember correctly) in order to give their people hope.

The origins of the story most likely lie in events some More..

  • It's been proven over and over that the ark is a fable, and completely unfeasable to build, even with modern woodworking skills.

So, how about we all agree to stop looking for the damned thing?

  • I find it amusing that the scorn is so great for this and none of you say a peep about UFOs/aliens.

This "discovery" doesn't prove the existence of a higher being/God, but it certainly doesn't disprove it either.

Like I said before, it doesn't matter if you believe in God or not, just leave those who believe differently than you alone. That is your right in a free society.

  • Anyone thousands of years ago could build a boat. Doesn't make it the "Ark". And besides, the broadcast talks about how it is a "petrified" boat. Well, it would take a lot longer than a couple/few thousand years to petrify something......so.....KEEP COMING BACK.

Someday you idiotic religious people will learn.

  • If you find a piece of wood anywhere, would you automatically assume it's from a boat. And how the hell could any boat sail that high because it takes millions of years to a mountain to form (different story if vulcanic, but wouldn't contain any wood either).

  • Final proof will be when, at 3:30 a.m., you can buy a sliver from it for 4 low payments of 39.95 and receive a beautifully framed certificate of authenticity from Franklin Mint.

I really couldn't give a damn what other people believe in or want to do or how they live their lives.

As long as they don't preach at me thats okay.

And by the way UFOs and shit like that are only ever seen over America by red necks that have drunk too much home brewed hooch so that is bollocks aswell.
(As far as I am concerned of course.)
If anyone else wants to believe in corn circles and other stunts that bored farmers sons pull off then let them.

Does that clarify the I really don't give a shit situation for ya?
