  • This is a link to a web site the Aussie government shut down, till they moved servers to the US, it has draft letters to send off, to complain about proposes filter.

  • First China, & Thailand now Australia, then Canada.... There's certainly a pattern going on here. BTW bypassing these filters is easy.

    Everyday you Aussie's are loosing the battle for your individual rights.

  • Even senator stephen conroy admits that this filter will fail, but the bone head is still pushing for it.
    Our main internet providers are not interested in being part of the trials....they already know the answer to this filtering crap.

  • Is there actually a real chance of such a law being passed,or is it just some fodder for the news channels?
    I cant believe it could happen.Even in my hardcore ex commie home country people would be up in arms if anything close to this would threathen their liberties.

    It looks like it's happening, yeah. Without doubt the most stupid idea ever. It will protect no one, and result in even worse performance.
